1st Day ISTANBUL – MADRID – SALAMANCA – CUIDAD DE RODRIGO
We meet at the international departure terminal of Istanbul Airport three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we transfer to our private bus waiting for us at the airport after our flight with Turkish Airlines to Madrid. Our program begins with a panoramic city tour. The places to see include Puerto del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Paseo de la Castellana, the bullfighting arena, Gran Via, and Plaza de España, after which we move on to Salamanca for a tour. After experiencing the magnificent atmosphere of Plaza Mayor, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, we will explore the historical sites of Salamanca University and closely acquaint ourselves with the city's educational heritage. Next, we will visit Salamanca Cathedral, where you can see the elegance of Gothic and Renaissance architecture and uncover the historical and cultural fabric of the city. At the end of the tour, we continue to Cuidad de Rodrigo. After visiting this medieval town with its walls, cathedral, and castle, we transfer to our hotel and have some free time. 2nd Day CUIDAD DE RODRIGO – PORTO
After having breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Porto and the city tour. Sightseeing includes Bento Station, Sao Francisco Church, Bolsa Palace, Porto Cathedral, historical wine cellars, Liberdade Square, Batalha Square, the oldest and typical residential area of the city, the Riberia District, Torre dos Clerigos Tower, the most famous shopping street in the city, Santa Catarina, Dom Luis 1 Bridge, Arrabida Bridge, and the new and modern district of Boa Vista. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Porto and have some free time. Accommodation is at our hotel.
3rd Day PORTO – NAZARE – FATIMA – OBIDOS – LISBON
After having breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Lisbon, making visits to Obidos, Nazare, and Fatima along the way. We will visit Fatima, known as a sacred place in Portugal, the charming fishing village of Nazare, and Obidos, characterized by its two-story white houses and historic walls covered in ivy. After the tour, we proceed to Lisbon, and once we arrive, a panoramic city tour of Lisbon is conducted. During our tour, we will see Rossio Square, Belem Tower, the Discoveries Monument, Marquis de Pompal Square, Jeronimos Monastery, and Santa Justa Elevator. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have some free time. Accommodation is at our hotel.
4th Day LISBON – SINTRA – CABO DA ROCA – CASCAIS – ESTORIL
After having breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Atlantic Beauties tour. On our way to the historic town of Sintra, we will have the opportunity to see the stunning view of the Sintra mountains along with the romantic architecture and vibrant colors of the 19th century. We will stroll through the narrow, cobblestone streets of the UNESCO-protected historic city of Sintra, visit its impressive fountains, and traverse its hidden passages. Next, we will visit Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent, where we will encounter dramatic scenery and the trails along the cliffs. Then we will proceed to the coastal town of Cascais, where the nobility of the 19th century used to spend their summers. We will conclude our tour in Estoril, located in the luxurious area of the Portuguese Riviera, known for its lavish hotels, beautiful beaches, and famous Estoril casino. After this tour, we will transfer back to our hotel in Lisbon for rest and free time. Accommodation is at our hotel.
5th Day LISBON – HUELVA – SEVILLE
After having breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Huelva, and upon arrival, we will have a city tour. During our tour, we will explore the beautiful city of Huelva, located in the southwest of Spain, known for its historical and cultural wealth. First, we will see La Merced Cathedral, one of the city's significant historical buildings, known for its impressive architecture. Afterwards, we will visit the Monumento a Colón, a monument related to Christopher Columbus’s voyages to America, highlighting Huelva’s important role during the Age of Discoveries. While walking through the city, we will encounter narrow streets and typical Andalusian houses. Later, we will explore Huelva's natural beauty by walking along the Odiel River. Then we will proceed to a panoramic city tour of Seville. The sights we will see include Spain Square, the Golden Tower, and the Maria Luisa Park with its pools and gardens, as well as the Santa Cruz district. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Seville for free time. Accommodation is at our hotel.
6th Day SEVILLE – CORDOBA – GRANADA
After having breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Cordoba. Upon arrival, we will have a panoramic city tour. Cordoba, with its surprising architecture, glorious history, whitewashed walls, and winding streets, is like a fairyland. Located in Southern Spain’s Andalusia region, Cordoba was one of the world's most populous cities in the 10th and 11th centuries. In that era, Jews, Christians, and Muslims lived together in peace, contributing to making this city one of Europe's most important cultural centers. During this UNESCO World Heritage city tour, we will see the largest mosque-cathedral in the world, the Great Mosque - (Panoramic), the Alcazar Palace, and the Renaissance-era Jewish Quarter. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Granada and have some free time. Accommodation is at our hotel.
7th Day GRANADA – ALHAMBRA – RONDA – MALAGA
After having breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a panoramic city tour of Granada. The historical streets of Granada feature timeless artifacts from the Umayyad and Abbasid periods, including the Grand Via, La Rambla Square, the Arab Bazaar, and the Town Hall Square. Next, we will have the opportunity to visit the Alhambra Palace (depending on availability) (harem entry is excluded), a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its Arabic architecture, gardens, and pools. Subsequently, we will move to Ronda. Ronda features important remains from both Islamic and Christian religions, as it is the last castle surrendered to the Spaniards by the Umayyads. This typical white Andalusian village sits on a steep cliff, and we will see the world’s oldest bullfighting arena. Sights include Casa Del Rey Moro, Palacio Mondragon, and Puente Nuevo.
8th Day MALAGA – ISTANBUL
After having breakfast at our hotel, we will transfer to Malaga airport at the time indicated by our guide. Following baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we will board our Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul. Our tour concludes with our arrival at Istanbul Airport.
