DAY 1 | ANKARA – BARCELONA
Meet at Ankara Esenboğa Airport Domestic Departure Terminal at least 3 hours before the flight. After completing ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, departure to Barcelona at 10:35 on Ajet Airlines flight VF 607. Arrive at 12:30. Upon arrival, we begin our city tour of Barcelona. On our panoramic city tour, see La Sagrada Familia, known as the “Unfinished Church,” Spain and Catalunya Square, Gaudi's Houses (Casa Batllo and Casa Mila), Catalunya Square, La Rambla Street, and Port Olímpic. After the city tour, enjoy free time for the rest of the day. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 2 | BARCELONA
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy free time for the whole day. Guests who wish can join the optional Girona & Figueras Tour (70 Euro). We start our tour along the Onyar River, which is lined with houses reminiscent of Florence, and is the most affluent city in the region, Girona. This charming medieval city with narrow streets and a cathedral is a sight worth seeing. It is also known as the filming location of the perfume movie. During our panoramic tour, see the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, Houses with Mezuzahs, Jewish Quarter, La Rambla, and famous shops. After free time, we head towards Figueras, with views of the Pyrenees. The town has an impressive atmosphere that has inspired the world-renowned Surrealist painter Salvador Dali throughout his life. We will visit the museum-house decorated by Salvador Dali himself. In this museum, whose works are valued at millions of dollars, you will see the works depicting his eternal love Gala and his mind-boggling creations. After our visit, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 3 | BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA – MADRID
After breakfast, we proceed to Madrid. Guests who wish can join the optional Zaragoza Tour (30 Euro). Our tour includes Ebro River, the city’s central cathedral Pilar Cathedral, La Seo Cathedral, San Pablo Church, Plaza España, and Pilar Bridge. Then, continue to Madrid. Transfer to our hotel and overnight.
DAY 4 | MADRID
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our Madrid city tour. We start at the large square called Plaza Mayor, which has 136 buildings and 437 balconies. Historically, bullfights and executions of those accused by the Inquisition were watched from these balconies. The city’s heart is Puerta del Sol. Other sights include Plaza Mayor, the Palace of the Royal Family's public addresses, Plaza de Oriente, the gates of Alcalá, Gran Vía with its galleries and striking facades, Plaza Colón, Cibeles Square and Fountain, and Cervantes Monument. After the tour, enjoy free time.Guests who wish can join the optional Toledo Tour (65 Euro). Toledo is a real open-air museum and Spain’s old capital, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It hosts Spain's most majestic cathedral and world-famous masterpieces, rivaling many museum collections. Known as El Greco’s city, Toledo has remained unchanged since the 16th century. The city features Roman, Visigothic, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, El Greco’s paintings, traditional bakeries, Damascene shops, and the famous cathedral. Toledo also produces almond paste candy dating back to the Arab conquest of the city. The sweet, which makes one's mouth water, is a must-try before leaving Toledo. After a walk through the Jewish Quarter, we transfer to our hotel in Madrid. Overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 5 | MADRID – ANKARA
After breakfast at the hotel, free time until the guided departure time. Then transfer to the airport. Departure to Ankara on Ajet Airlines flight VF 606 at 12:40, arriving at 19:05, marking the end of our tour.
