Tour Program
Day 1 Ankara – Tirana – Elbasan – Ohrid
Meeting at the check-in counter of Ankara Esenboğa Airport International Departure Terminal. After ticket, baggage and passport processes, we will take off for Tirana with Ajet Airlines’ flight number VF627 at 16:20. Arrival in Tirana at 17:40 local time. After passport, baggage, and customs procedures, we will move to Ohrid via Elbasan with our luxury buses. Transfer to our hotel. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.
Dinner: The dinner will be taken at a place determined by the guide during free time, at an extra cost.

Day 2 Ohrid – Sveti Naum – Matka Canyon – Skopje
After breakfast, our tour reaches the town of Ohrid, which is characterized by its Mediterranean coastal town qualities in the Balkans, starting with the Square of the Harbor, we will introduce the statues we will see in the square during our walking tour in the historical settlement of Ohrid where the scenes of the series Elveda Rumeli were filmed. During our walk, we will share the history of the Ottoman houses, the Church of Saint Sophia, and the presentation of the famous Ohrid Pearl, which is the biggest symbol of the city. After the tour, we will have free time. After free time, we will first arrive at St. Naum, with breathtaking views, after approximately a 1-hour journey. We will visit the source of Lake Ohrid. The beautiful scenery here will take your breath away. After our visit to Sveti Naum, we will move to the capital Skopje. We will proceed to the Matka Canyon known for its stunning beauty. After visiting Matka Canyon, we will transfer back to our hotel in Skopje for overnight stay.

Day 3 Skopje – Kosovo (Prizren) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
After breakfast, we begin our city tour in Skopje, the capital where two different cultures are separated by the famous Vardar River. The tour starts with the Makedonian side, known as the land of statues, we will first see the huge statue of Alexander the Great, and afterwards cross the Historical Skopje Stone Bridge over the Vardar River, witnessing how cultures can suddenly change, and move on to the Skopje Turkish Bazaar, one of the most qualified markets of the Ottomans in the Balkans, while talking about the statues we see at the entrance to the market and starting our tour at the historical Davut Pasha Bath, then see Kapan Han, one of the most significant structures of the Ottoman market organization, and the Murat Pasha Mosque, which has survived despite earthquakes. After our visits, there will be an hour of free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. We can buy grilled peppers, roasted peanuts, and slippers as souvenirs. After our tour and visits, we will move to Kosovo, one of the youngest states in the world, populated mainly by Muslim Albanians. We will experience a day filled with emotions in these former Ottoman lands, first visiting the Murad Hüdavendigar Tomb. After this visit, driving around 100 km, we will arrive in Prizren, one of the most charming cities in Kosovo and the Balkans, located by the Bistrica River. During our panoramic tour of Prizren, we will see the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress. After the tour and free time, return to Skopje. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.

Day 4 Skopje – Belgrade
After breakfast, we set off for Belgrade. After our journey, we will start our city tour of Belgrade, symbol of the vibrancy and motion, beginning with Knez Mihailova Street, the most elegant street of the city. Then we will visit Belgrade Fortress, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was injured while capturing but it was Kanuni Sultan Suleyman who completed the conquest, including places like Key to the Fortress Monuments, French Statue, Istanbul Gate, Military Museum, Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, Sokullu Fountain, and finally we will see the breathtaking view from the terrace area where the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers can be observed. After our tour, we will have some free time. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.

Day 5 Belgrade – Sarajevo
After breakfast at the hotel, we will set off for Sarajevo. As we proceed along the mountainous Balkan roads, we will enjoy stunning views. Our first stop will be Vrelo Bosne, Bosnia's largest national park located at the foot of Igman mountain, where the water source of the Bosna River is located, which was arranged by Tito and is famous for its parks and traditional coffee houses. After our free time, we will start our city tour. We will have a walk in Baščaršija, Europe's most exquisite bazaar. The tour begins at the Sebilj Fountain, which is the symbolic landmark of this cultural city, we will then visit Morica Han, one of the most authentic spots of the city. Following this, we will visit Husein Bej’s Mosque, built by Kanuni Sultan Süleyman's relative. During the tour, we will also see the Clock Tower, the legendary fountain, and the point where cultures meet. This street also symbolizes the eternal flame monument, where there will be free time for our participants, and they can take pictures near the Latin Bridge, where World War I broke out. After our tour and free time, we will transfer back to our hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6 Sarajevo – Konjic – Mostar – Blagaj – Trebinje
After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave for Mostar, enjoying beautiful views within the ecosystem of the Neretva River. We will take a short break in Konjic, which is referred to in Evliya Çelebi’s Travelogue as the place where horses rested and drank water. There, we will see and take pictures of the Konjic Bridge, built by Mehmet IV, and continue our journey through Jablanica, where we will have the chance to observe the most beautiful natural landscapes created by the Neretva River. Upon arrival at Mostar, we will make a city tour on foot, starting with the Mostar Bridge, an architectural masterpiece built by Hayreddin in 1557, which was destroyed by Croatian artillery during the war in 1992 but was reconstructed with the significant contributions of the Republic of Turkey in 2004. We will wander through the old bazaar after, have free time, and then proceed to Blagaj, where we will stop by the Buna River's source. After a short walk from the vehicle park, we will also have free time to visit the Tekke, to take photographs from the most beautiful angles. After these visits, we will be transferred to our hotel in Trebinje or nearby regions such as Medjugorje or Blagaj, based on availability. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.

Day 7 Trebinje – Kotor – Budva – Shkodra
After breakfast at the hotel, we will pass into Montenegro, one of the youngest states in the world. Our first stop is Kotor, an important historical and natural highlight and tourist attraction. Here, we will walk in Stari Grad (Old City-Fortress) to learn about this charming city during our tour. After seeing the Arsenal Square, Clock Tower, Shame Monument, Government Palace, Guardians Tower, St. Tryphon Cathedral and Square, St. Luke’s Church and Nicholas’s Church, we will have free time. Afterward, we will drive past Budva, a former fishing settlement that is currently being restored and promoted for tourism, where we will take panoramic views of St. Stefan from the lookout point depending on vehicle parking availability, and then we will head to Shkodra, Albania. Transfer to our hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8 Shkodra - Tirana – Ankara
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the capital Tirana. We will take a panoramic tour to introduce this beautiful city, which endured wars throughout the 20th century and lived under Enver Hoxha's dictatorship for 40 years, which was established by Suleiman Pasha in 1614 and became the capital of Albania in 1920.
During our tour, we will see Ethem Bey Mosque located in Skanderbeg Square, the Historical Clock Tower, National History Museum, and Opera House. The Parliament and Prime Ministry buildings, Presidential Palace, Mother Teresa Square, and Tirana Pyramid will also be among the places we will see from our vehicle. After our tour of Tirana, we will have free time until the flight time. We will transfer to Tirana Airport. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Ankara with Ajet Airlines’ flight number VF628 at 18:30, arriving in Ankara at 21:40. We hope to see you on your next journey...
