1st Day
ISTANBUL – BASEL – FREIBURG – ALSACE
We meet at Sabiha Gökçen Airport international departures terminal three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we depart for Basel on Ajet Airlines scheduled flight. After landing at Basel Airport, we set off for our panoramic Basel tour. In Basel, Switzerland’s cultural city, we will take a small city tour. Built around the Rhine River, the city is quite impressive with its magnificent buildings. There are five different routes to explore the center of Basel, all named after famous figures from Basel’s history. By following Erasmus, Hans Holbein, Jacob Burckhardt, and Paracelsus, you can travel through historical eras in the city. During our city tour, we will see the narrow streets lined with historic houses in Grossbasel, the red and striking town hall, and the cathedral square. After the tour, we continue to Freiburg. During our Freiburg city tour, we will visit the “Bächle,” the small canals running along the streets with a total length of 15.5 km and covering the entire old town, the Freiburger Münster (Cathedral) with its 116-meter-high tower visible from anywhere, the Markthalle (Covered Market), a paradise of countless dishes from world cuisine that will surprise you the most, Münsterplatz, Rathausplatz with the old and new town halls, Kaiser-Joseph Street with many souvenir shops, chain stores, cafes, and restaurants, and Gerberau, where you can find the city’s most pleasant cafes, bars, and beer gardens, after which there will be free time for shopping and lunch. 2nd Day
ALSACE – OBERNAI – H.KÖNIGSBOURG – STRASBOURG – ALSACE
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our panoramic Obernai tour. During the tour, we visit the town of Obernai, which looks like a fairy-tale land with its flower-decked wooden houses and cobblestone streets. Then we continue to H. Königsbourg Castle. Located in the heart of the Alsace region, the jewel of the Eastern French region, H. Königsbourg Castle is situated at about 750 meters above the Alsace plain. Receiving approximately 500,000 visitors a year, the castle offers its visitors unique views as well as a glimpse into life in medieval castles. Then we continue to Strasbourg. On our tour of Strasbourg, a city on the Rhine Wine Route that bears both French and German cultural and architectural features, we will see Petite France, Cathedral Square, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Kammerzell House. After the tour, transfer to your hotel and free time. Accommodation at our hotel.
3rd Day
ALSACE – RIQUEWIHR – KAYSERSBERG – COLMAR – ALSACE
After breakfast at the hotel, we meet with our guests for a panoramic Riquewihr city tour. We visit Riquewihr, a delightful fairy-tale town with spotless streets, cookie-like houses, and a medieval atmosphere. Then we continue to Kaysersberg. Meaning “Emperor’s Mountain,” Kaysersberg is one of the best-preserved towns in northeastern France for its medieval charm. With its medieval walls, half-timbered houses, and medieval churches, Kaysersberg is among the most beautiful of Alsace’s wine villages. Then we continue to Colmar. Upon arrival in the fairy-tale city of Colmar, the Christmas Markets, the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River, along with the city’s most famous area, Petite Venise (Little Venice), are among the places to be seen. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to enjoy many delicious foods to suit your taste as well as buy many souvenirs. After the tour, transfer to your hotel and free time. Accommodation at our hotel.
4th Day
ALSACE – BASEL – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport, and after completing ticket and baggage procedures, depart for Istanbul on Ajet Airlines scheduled flight. With our arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, our tour comes to an end.
