Important Notice:
Door Visa Program is a fast and simplified visa application provided by Greek authorities for Turkish citizens undertaking short-term tourist visits to certain Greek islands.
The visa granted within this program does not have Schengen visa status. It is only valid for the specific Greek island being visited and is issued for a maximum of 6 nights and 7 days with a single entry-exit authorization. During the visa period, one can only stay on the island visited; inter-island travel is not permitted. At the end of the visit, exiting from the same island is mandatory.
The Door Visa does not get finalized before application. After preparing the application file, the passenger departs from Turkish ports visa-free. The final decision is given at the customs point of the relevant Greek island on the travel day.
Generally, no prior notification is given before travel. However, in some negative cases, information that applications were rejected may be received 2-3 days before the trip.
Rejected applications are not explained, and visa fees are non-refundable.
Attention Points:
- Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the departure date and contain at least 2 blank pages.
- The following passengers cannot be granted visas at the port:
- Those who have previously been rejected by Greece,
- Those with TRNC entry stamps on their passports,
- Those who obtained their passport from the Turkish Consulate in the TRNC.
- The port visa is only valid for the island applied for; no other islands can be accessed.
- **** Visa procedures will be carried out by kapidakolayvize.com.
