Day 1 – Istanbul - Kapikule

After meeting with our guests at the specified locations, we head towards the Kapikule Land Border Gate. After customs and passport procedures here, we enter Bulgaria.
Day 2: Kapikule – Bucharest – Sinaia – Bran – Brasov
Passing through Bulgaria in transit, after our border procedures in the morning, we take a breakfast break and then head towards Romania’s Transylvania region. Our tour begins with a visit to Peleș Castle, one of Europe’s most beautiful castles, which is located in this area. After our visit here, we proceed to Bran city, where we will visit the mysterious Dracula Castle, which is associated with III. Vlad, known in Ottoman history as the Impaler, and has inspired the Dracula films. Guests can taste the famous smoked cheese (kaşkaval) here and do their shopping at souvenir shops. We then head to Brașov city, known for its historical beauty and cafes. In this beautiful city, we will see the Black Church, preserved narrow streets, and colorful buildings among other sights. After our tour program, we go to our hotel. Overnight stay in Brașov at our hotel.

Day 3: Brașov – Sighișoara – Turda Salt Mines - Cluj
After having breakfast at the hotel, we head to Sighișoara, one of the most beautiful towns in the heart of Transylvania. Influences of German architecture can be seen in Sighișoara, which has been an important region for Romania militarily and diplomatically for long periods. The places we will see include the Clock Tower, the Guild Tower, the Venetian House built in the 13th century, Dracula’s House which is currently used as a restaurant, Horn House, and the Church. After our city tour, we head to the Turda Salt Mines. After exploring one of the largest salt mines in the world, which has turned into a museum, we head to Cluj, the second largest city in Romania after Bucharest. Having hosted many civilizations and nations, Cluj was founded by the Dacians in the 1st-2nd centuries A.D. Cluj, which has come down through history under the names Klausenburg by Germans, Kolosvar by Hungarians, and Koloşvar during the Ottoman Period, has adopted the name Cluj - Napoca in 1970. During our city tour in Cluj, we will visit the city square known as Piata Unirii (Union Square), the second largest church in Transylvania, St. Michael’s Church, the statue of King Matthias Corvinus, the Pharmacy Museum, the Transylvanian History Museum, Museum Square, the Obelisk, the Franciscan Monastery Church, and Matthias Corvinus' House among other notable points. After our city tour, we arrive at our hotel in Cluj and check in. Accommodation at our hotel in Cluj.

Day 4: Cluj – Alba Iulia - Hunedoara - Sibiu
After having breakfast at the hotel, we are heading to Alba Iulia, also known as Belgrad Erdeli during the Ottoman Period. After a panoramic city tour, we go to Sibiu, selected as the European Capital of Culture in 2007. The city is famous for the most expensive fortress built by the Saxons in the 12th century. The Sibiu Church, Brukenthal Palace, Great Square, and Cathedral are some of the sights to see. After our city tour, we will visit Corvin Castle, known as the best-known castle in the world among the top 10 castles, built in the 15th century in Hunedoara. The castle is mainly built in Gothic style, but it also contains Renaissance architectural elements. The castle has burned down five times throughout history. It is also thought to be the location of Dracula's imprisonment by Hunyadi for seven years, as mentioned in Bram Stoker's book. After the tour, we head to our hotel. Overnight stay in Sibiu at our hotel.

Day 5: Sibiu – Bucharest
After having breakfast at our hotel, we head to Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Upon our arrival in Bucharest, we start our city tour, known as the Paris of the East. The visible sites include Revolution Square, University Square, the National Theatre, the Palace of Parliament built by Ceaușescu, the statue of our founder Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK, the Garrison Building, and the Bucharest History Museum. After our city tour, we visit the Village Museum. After some free time here, we head to our hotel. Guests can optionally participate in the extra organized Romanian Night (55 €) after dinner. Following dinner, we head to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel in Bucharest.

Day 6: Bucharest – Veliko Tarnovo - Istanbul
After having breakfast at our hotel, we begin our return journey to Istanbul. After leaving Romania, we enter Bulgaria and reach Veliko Tarnovo, the first Capital of Bulgaria. To familiarize ourselves with the historical city of Veliko Tarnovo, we will conduct a city tour. After our panoramic city tour, we have free time for lunch. After free time, we follow the routes through Dimitrovgrad – Haskovo – Kapikule and arrive at the Kapikule Land Border Gate. After the passport and customs procedures here, we enter Turkey. Necessary breaks will be given along the way, and we will arrive in Istanbul. We drop off our guests at the specified points in the tour program (on the way back) and conclude our tour.
