Day 1 ISTANBUL – TOKYO
We meet at the international departure terminal of Istanbul Airport three hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, our flight to Tokyo on All Nippon scheduled flight begins.
Day 2 TOKYO – OSAKA
Upon our arrival in Tokyo, we transfer for a domestic flight to Osaka, one of the cultural hearts of Japan. After arriving, we commence our panoramic city tour of Osaka. On our tour, we will see Osaka Castle, built in the 16th century, which played an important role in the unification of the Japanese nation, and the Umeda Sky Building, consisting of two structures 173 meters long. The Umeda Sky Building is a magnificent skyscraper located near Osaka and Umeda stations. The 173-meter high building consists of two towers connected by the "Floating Garden Observatory" on the 39th floor. The observatory offers stunning views of the city from its windows and open-air terrace. Then we will have free time in the city center until the time announced by our guide. Later in the evening, on our journey to our hotel, we will witness a mesmerizing cityscape of Osaka amid illuminated streets and the silhouettes of modern buildings lighting up the night. Colorful signs, sparkling streetlights, and the vibrant city atmosphere will add a visual feast to our journey. Transfer to our hotel in Osaka and free time to rest. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 3 OSAKA – NARA DEER PARK – TODAIGI TEMPLE – DOTONBORI & SHINSAIBASHI – OSAKA
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Nara tour. We start our tour with Todaiji Temple, built in 752 AD to be the head of all Buddhist temples. Over time, the temple's influence grew and it began to affect politics in the 8th century. The main hall of Todaiji is known for being the largest wooden structure in the world. This immense building houses one of Japan's largest bronze Buddha statues (Daibutsu). Afterward, we visit Nara Deer Park, a large park in the center of Nara, established in 1880, which includes most of Nara's main attractions such as Todaiji, Kasuga Taisha, Kofukuji, and the Nara National Museum. It is also home to hundreds of freely roaming deer. The fact that deer are considered messengers of the gods in Japanese mythology makes this area special both visually and culturally. While walking in the park, you will have the chance to create unforgettable memories and take photos with curious deer approaching you. Then we will visit Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi, a popular nightlife, shopping, and entertainment district characterized by its eccentric atmosphere and large illuminated signs, despite once being a theater district. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel in Osaka and have free time to rest. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 4 OSAKA – KOBE – ARASHIYAMA BAMBOO FOREST – KIYOMIZUDERA TEMPLE – GION – KYOTO
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for our Kobe city tour. We begin the tour with a breath of fresh air in Meriken Park. After a photo stop in front of the famous Kobe Tower, we go up to the Kitano district, where we explore the streets filled with old foreign residences. Then we will enjoy a lovely stroll in Nunobiki Herb Gardens. After our tour, we head to Kyoto for our city tour. During World War II, Kyoto was the only city in Japan that was not bombed. The city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We start our city tour with the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Visitors to the bamboo forest are greeted by a 500-meter walking trail. During this walk on the trail, you will enjoy pleasant moments with the sound of the wind passing through the bamboos and have the opportunity to take pictures of the forest. After our free time, we will see the Ryoanji Temple, a Zen temple that is among the panoramic sites to visit. The temple is home to Japan's most famous rock garden. Originally a villa of an aristocrat during the Heian Period, the site was converted into a Zen temple in 1450. An interesting feature of the garden design is that at least one of the rocks is always hidden from the viewer from any point. Next, we will visit Kiyomizudera (Pure Water) Temple, established on the site of the Otowa Falls in the forested hills east of Kyoto in 780. Finally, we transfer to Gion, Kyoto's most famous geisha district, located between Yasaka Shrine to the east and the Kamo River to the west, along Shijo Boulevard. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel in Kyoto and have free time to rest. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 5 KYOTO – GINZA – SHIBUYA – TOKYO
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Kyoto train station. We arrive in Tokyo by high-speed train. Upon our arrival, we proceed to Ginza, the most famous luxury shopping, dining, and entertainment district in Tokyo, which hosts a multitude of stores, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, nightclubs, and cafes. The name "Ginza," meaning “silver mint” in Japanese, originates from the fact that from 1612 to 1800, the area was home to a silver coin mint. We continue the tour with a break for lunch. Afterward, we visit the Shibuya Pedestrian Crossing, one of the busiest pedestrian crossings in Tokyo, located in one of the city's most crowded areas, which is known for its bustling business and shopping centers. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel in Tokyo and have free time to rest. Accommodation at our hotel.
Note: On the day of the tour, you are required to bring a small bag for the day when leaving the hotel in the morning. All other belongings you leave at the hotel will be transferred from Kyoto to the hotel in Tokyo.
Day 6 TOKYO – OSHINO HAKKAI – MOUNT FUJI – HAKONE – ASHI LAKE – OUTLET – TOKYO
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Oshino Hakkai tour. Oshino Hakkai is a Japanese village nestled at the foot of Mount Fuji, hidden in the heart of nature. In this picturesque village, where crystal-clear spring waters come to life in eight sacred ponds, you can experience tranquility, serenity, and the depth of Japanese culture alongside traditional Japanese houses and bamboo bridges with the silhouette of Mount Fuji. After our tour, we set off for Hakone & Mount Fuji. With a height of 3776 meters, Mount Fuji is Japan's highest mountain, which obtained a UNESCO World Heritage Site designation in 2013 for its elegant conical shape. It is a sacred symbol of the country, and there are temples and shrines around and on the volcano. Depending on weather conditions, you will find yourself in a wonderful ambiance while enjoying breathtaking views of Mount Fuji from above the clouds using the fifth station. Next, we head to Hakone. Among the most notable features of Hakone town is its unique view offered due to its proximity to Mount Fuji. Here, we will take a boat tour on Ashi Lake to enjoy this magnificent view together with our guests. Then we proceed to the Outlet. Gotemba Premium Outlet, located in Gotemba city in Shizuoka Prefecture at the foot of Mount Fuji, is a large outlet shopping center. Opened in 2000, this center is one of the largest outlets in Japan with 290 stores. During our outlet visit, you can shop as you wish and enjoy the free time. Afterward, we transfer to our hotel in Tokyo and have free time to rest. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 7 TOKYO – AKIHABARA – NAKAMISE & SHOPPING ARCADE – TOKYO
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue our tour with a visit to Akihabara, one of Tokyo's internationally famous neighborhoods. Nowadays, Akihabara is known for its popular anime and manga icons as well as being a major shopping center for electronic home appliances and black-market goods shortly after World War II, hence referred to as Electric Town. After our free time for lunch, we set off for our tour of Nakamise & Shopping Arcade. During our break on the shopping street, you can purchase typical Japanese souvenirs like various kimonos and folding fans or taste various traditional local snacks from the Asakusa region. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel in Tokyo and have free time to rest. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 8 TOKYO – ISTANBUL
After emptying the rooms early in the morning, we transfer to Tokyo Airport for our flight to Istanbul. After the baggage, passport, and ticket procedures, we take our flight with All Nippon scheduled flight. Upon our arrival at Istanbul Airport, our tour and our services end.
