Tour Program
Day 1: Istanbul – Belgrade – Srebrenica - Sarajevo
Meeting at the Air Serbia counter at the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After completing ticket, luggage and passport procedures, we take the Air Serbia flight JU427 to Belgrade at 04:20. Arrival in Belgrade at 05:00 local time. After luggage, passport, and customs procedures, we depart from Belgrade airport with our private vehicle. Our first destination of the tour is Srebrenica, located in the east of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We visit Srebrenica, the site of the massacre that occurred on July 11, 1995, to commemorate it. Here we visit the camp where innocent Bosniak people were held and the martyrs' memorial to pay our respects. After that, we move to the capital Sarajevo. We take a stroll through Baščaršija, the most magnificent market in Europe. Our tour of this cultural city starts at Sarajevo Sebilj, which is almost a symbol of the market, then to the authentic Morica Han. Next, we visit the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. During our tour, we see the Clock Tower, the famous fountain, and the place that is a meeting point of cultures, which is also home to the Eternal Flame monument. Afterwards, we take some free time, during which guests can photograph the Latin Bridge, where the First World War broke out. Transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Sarajevo – Vrelo Bosna - Konjic – Mostar – Blagaj – Medjugorje
After breakfast, we visit Vrelo Bosne, a national park famous for the source of the Bosna river, located at the base of Mount Igman, featuring excellent walking trails, carriage drivers, and authentic cafes. We will take some free time afterwards, we head to Mostar. Our journey to Mostar will take approximately 2.5 hours with several stops along the way. Our first stop is in the city of Konjic where we take a break to see the famous Konjic Bridge, restored by Turkey, and enjoy coffee by the Neretva River. Afterward, we arrive in Mostar, and we will start our walking tour by first seeing the Mostar Bridge. (The bridge, built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557, is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture.) The bridge was destroyed in the war in 1992 by Croatian artillery, but thanks to the significant contributions of the Republic of Turkey, it was reopened in 2004. We will see the Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque. Next, we will visit the Blagaj settlement, which is 12 km away from Mostar, where the Buna River springs, and the Blagaj Tekke. After our tour (overnight stay in Medjugorje or its vicinity).

Day 3: Medjugorje – Kotor – Budva - Shkodra
After breakfast at the hotel, we proceed to Montenegro, one of the youngest states in the world. Our first stop is Kotor, a significant historical and natural paradise and tourist attraction... Here, in Stari Grad (Old Town-Castle), you will take a walk to get to know this charming town. After the Kotor tour, we will make our way through Budva, where we will have a panoramic view of the magnificent Sveti Stefan, which was rented from fishermen and then sold to a multi-billionaire from Singapore, and are currently restoring it for tourism. After the break, we move to the Albanian city of Shkodra. Arrival and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Shkodra - Tirana – Ohrid
After breakfast at the hotel, we move to the city center of Tirana.A beautiful city that suffered through wars throughout the 20th century and endured Enver Hoxha's dictatorship for 40 years; we will take a panoramic tour of this city, which was developed by Suleiman Pasha in 1614 and became the capital of Albania in 1920. During our tour, we will see the Ethem Bey Mosque in Skanderbeg Square, the Historic Clock Tower, the National History Museum, and the Opera House. The Presidential Palace and Government Buildings, Mother Teresa Square, and the Tirana Pyramid are among the places we will see from the vehicle. After our tour of Tirana and free time, we head towards Ohrid, known as the jewel of the Balkans, through Elbasan. We start our Ohrid tour at the Harbor Square, discussing the statues we see and walking through the neighborhood where the historical Ohrid houses were filmed for the “Elveda Rumeli” series, while viewing the historical Ottoman houses, Aya Sofya Church, and the famous Ohrid Pearl. After the tour, we take some free time. After visiting, we transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our Ohrid hotel.

Day 5: Ohrid – Sv Naum – Tetova(Kalkandelen) – Skopje
After breakfast, we travel to St. Naum, where the springs of Lake Ohrid are located, while enjoying magnificent views. The exquisite scenery will take your breath away. After our visit to Sveti Naum, we will move to Tetova, the second-largest city in North Macedonia, where the majority of the population are Muslim Albanians. We will have a panoramic view of the city and visit the Alaca Mosque, which has rare architecture in the Balkans. After our tour, we proceed to the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje. Our tour of this city, where two different cultures are separated by the famous Vardar River, begins with the Macedonian side, where we will first see the gigantic statue of Skanderbeg, then we cross the Historic Skopje Stone Bridge over the Vardar River, witnessing the dramatic cultural shift as we enter the Üsküp Turkish Bazaar, one of the most prominent Ottoman bazaars in the Balkans. We will begin our bazaar tour by discussing the statues at the entrance and then move to the historical Davut Pasha Bath and see the Kapan Han and the Murat Pasha Mosque, which has survived earthquakes. After our visits, we will have one hour of free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. Among the items we can buy are Šušak peppers, Ustrumca peanuts, and chariks. After our tour we will transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6: Skopje – Matka Canyon – Prizren(Kosovo) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
After breakfast, we head to the breathtaking Matka Canyon; after a nature walk, guests will have the optional opportunity to take a canyon tour by the famous rowboats. After the tour, we will visit the capital of Kosovo, Pristina, which mainly consists of Muslim Albanians. First, we will have a panoramic view of the city and then visit the tomb of Sultan Murad (Hüdavendigar) who was martyred in the Battle of Kosovo, a significant victory of the Ottomans in the Balkans. After our visit, we will head to Prizren, one of the cutest cities in the Balkans. During our panoramic tour in Prizren, we will see the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and the Prizren Fortress. After the tour and free time, we return to Skopje. Upon arrival in Skopje, we will enjoy a Balkan night at a local restaurant, included in the tour price. After the entertainment, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Skopje – Belgrade – Istanbul
After breakfast, we depart for Belgrade. After our journey, we will start our city tour in Belgrade, one of Europe’s oldest cities, beginning with Knez Mihailova Street, the most elegant street in the city. Next, we will visit Belgrade Fortress, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was injured in the conquest, but it was his successor, Suleiman the Magnificent, who completed the conquest. Within the fortress, we will see the Key Delivery Monument, the French statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, Sokolu’s fountain, and the terrace area where we will have the most beautiful view of where the Danube and Sava rivers meet. After the tour, we will have free time until the flight hours. Then we will transfer to Belgrade Airport. After completing ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, we will board the Air Serbia flight JU426 departing for Istanbul at 00:50. Arrival in Istanbul at 03:35.
