DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – ST. PETERSBURG
Meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at Istanbul Airport at 05:30. After passport, ticket, and baggage procedures, departure for St. Petersburg at 08:10 on Turkish Airlines flight TK401. Arrival in St. Petersburg at 11:50 local time, followed by passport procedures and meeting with our guide. We will then depart for a "St. Petersburg City Tour" in our private vehicle. During the panoramic city tour, we will have the opportunity to see the streets displaying the most beautiful examples of the world’s most famous architects and artists, as well as the city’s historical and tourist sites. Famous literary figures mentioned the renowned Nevsky Prospect, Old Port Lighthouses, Mint, Clock Tower, Statue of Peter the Great, Winter Palace, Palace Square, Admiralty Building, and the Aurora Cruiser among the places to be visited. After the city tour, transfer to our hotel. Free time and overnight accommodation at our hotel in St. Petersburg. At the end of the tour, guests can optionally join the "Russian Night Tour," organized by our guide. You shouldn't miss the opportunity to enjoy dinner at one of St. Petersburg's finest restaurants, Troika, and watch the magnificent dance shows. After the tour, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 02 ST. PETERSBURG
After breakfast, free time. Guests can optionally join the "Hermitage, Peter and Paul and Canal Tours." The Hermitage, located by the Neva River, houses approximately 4 million works from the Tsarist era and is recognized as one of the world's and Russia's largest museums. It is noted for having the largest collection of paintings, earning a mention in the Guinness World Records. Afterward, we will begin our canal tour, seeing St. Petersburg from the water, extending to the Neva River. The tour will continue with the Peter and Paul Fortress, the first structure built in St. Petersburg by Peter in the 1700s, located on the Neva River. The cathedral inside the fortress contains the graves of the Romanov dynasty. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 03 ST. PETERSBURG
After breakfast, free time. Guests can optionally join the "Peterhof and Pushkin Tsar Town Tours." In this tour, we will have the opportunity to see the summer palace built by Peter after he drew the plans himself, constructed by the Italian architect Rastrelli, located in the Gulf of Finland. It is a magnificent palace complex, rivaling the Palace of Versailles in Paris, adorned with 150 monumental fountains and 4 waterfalls in its gardens. Although it suffered significant damage during World War II, it has been restored to maintain the grandeur of its original architecture. Following this, we will visit the park, palace, and buildings complex known as Tsar Town, built by Catherine in the 18th century, covering an area of 600 hectares, with the Catherine Palace being the main building. The Amber Room here is particularly interesting; however, it is often not visited by many tourists due to the high volume in the summer months. This famous town where the Tsarist-era aristocracy met with the tsar family is also home to the school where the renowned poet Pushkin was educated. After the tour, transfer to the hotel.
DAY 04 ST. PETERSBURG – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
After breakfast, free time. Transfer to the airport at the time determined by our guide. After arrival, passport and check-in procedures, departure for Istanbul at 12:50 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 402. Arrival in Istanbul at 16:55 local time. We hope to meet again on our next tour.
