We start our tour by meeting our guide at 04:00 at Istanbul New Airport, International Terminal. After our ticket and baggage processes, we fly to Palermo on Turkish Airlines flight TK1373 at 06:50. We arrive in Palermo at 08:25 local time. During our panoramic city tour of Palermo, we will see places such as Via Liberta and Via Roma streets, Quattro Canti, the Fountain of Shame, the Norman Palace, Teatro Massimo, Teatro Politeama Garibaldi, and the Palermo Cathedral. Guests who wish can join our guide's optional Monreale tour (35 Euro). Monreale creates a magical feeling with its charm and beauty, making it one of Sicily's most important cultural sites. We explore the city of Monreale, where the most important cathedral in Sicily is located and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. After our free time in Monreale, we head to our hotel for accommodation.
2nd Day PALERMO | Erice & TrapaniAfter having breakfast at our hotel, we have a free day. Guests who wish can join our guide's optional Erice and Trapani tour (65 Euro). We start our tour in Erice, where you can experience the medieval atmosphere. We stroll through the stone streets of Erice and enjoy the magnificent view from Venus Castle. We recommend trying the delicious treats from Erice, famous for its chocolate shops and bakeries. After that, we head to Trapani, a fishing village. We will walk along the fishing port and see the colorful fishing boats. During our break in Trapani, guests wishing can enjoy seafood. After the tour, we return to our hotel for accommodation.
3rd Day PALERMO – CATANIA | Cefalu & OutletAfter breakfast at our hotel, we check out and return the room keys to the reception. We then set off for Catania. Guests who wish can join our guide's optional Cefalu fishing village and outlet tour during the journey (30 Euro). Cefalu is a historical and beautiful fishing village located on the northern coast of Sicily. It is known for its historic streets, magnificent beaches, and the famous Cefalu Cathedral. After enjoying the view from Rocca di Cefalu, we will descend to the historical city center and its narrow streets. We will see the magnificent Cefalu Cathedral, which has a unique blend of Arab and Norman architecture. After resting at cafes by the sea, we will head to the Outlet. After our shopping break, we will transfer to Catania. Upon arriving in Catania, we will conduct a panoramic city tour, during which we will see Fontana dell’Elefante, Republic Square, Etna Street, and Duomo Cathedral. Accommodation at our hotel.
4th Day CATANIA | Etna & Savoca & TaorminaAfter breakfast at our hotel, guests who wish can join our guide's optional tour of Mount Etna, Savoca - where scenes from the movie "The Godfather" were filmed - and Taormina (80 Euro). We start our tour with Mount Etna, the largest and highest volcano in Europe at 3350 meters, active for about half a million years and listed as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage. We will go up to the Silvestri Crater at 1900 meters, where the mountains are covered with lava. After that, we continue to Savoca, where some of the key scenes from "The Godfather 2" were filmed. As we listen to the stories of famous mafia families on the island of Sicily, we enjoy a local drink adorned with the photos of the film characters Michael and Apollonia in Bar Vitelli, surrounded by walls decorated with memorable scenes from the film. Following this, we will follow a narrow cobblestone path to see the San Nicolo Church from the 14th century, where Michael and Apollonia got married in the film. Then we will head to Taormina via Naxos. The wonderful coastline and nature of Naxos will mesmerize you. Upon arriving in Taormina, Sicily's most luxurious town, we will see Chiesa di San Giuseppe, Porta Catania, and Porta Messina. We recommend trying local dishes such as Pasta alla Norma and Cannolo Siciliano in Taormina. After the tour, we return to our hotel for accommodation.
5th Day CATANIA – MALTA | Siracusa & NotoAfter breakfast at our hotel, we check out. Guests who wish can join the optional tour of Siracusa and Noto (50 Euro) on the way. We will start our tour in Siracusa, the city where the famous mathematician Archimedes lived, by crossing to the Ortygia peninsula linked by bridges and starting from the main square, Duomo Square. Here, we will see the Siracusa Cathedral, built on the remains of the Temple of Athena, and the Santa Lucia Church, also known as the city's patron saint. We will explore the Arethusa Fountain, the source of sweet water, the Archimedes Square, and get lost in the narrow streets adorned with cafes and shops. After some free time, we will proceed to Noto, one of the most important Baroque style towns in Sicily. After being completely destroyed in the 1693 earthquake, it was rebuilt according to its original design in the 18th century, and we will see many historical buildings and architectural wonders. We will then proceed to Catania and conduct a panoramic city tour of Catania, during which we will see Fontana dell’Elefante, Republic Square, Etna Street, and Duomo Cathedral. After the tour, we will head to Pozzallo port and take a fast ferry at 19:30 to Malta. We arrive in Malta at 21:15 and check in at our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel.
6th Day MALTA | Rabat & Mdina & VallettaAfter having breakfast at our hotel, we will realize our panoramic tour of the 3 cities. Sit back and explore the cities of Vittoriosa, Cospicua, and Senglea, known as Cottonera, built and supported by the Knights of Malta. After our bus tour in Cospicua, we will walk through the mystical and mysterious narrow streets of Vittoriosa, where we will see its historical churches and palaces. Finally, we will find ourselves in Senglea, located at the center of the Great Harbor, with a magnificent view of the harbor, distinguished by its watchtower. Guests who wish may join our guide's optional Rabat & Mdina & Valletta tour (50 Euro). Our first stop will be Rabat, which dates back to 700 BC and is surrounded by historical narrow streets. After exploring Rabat, we will walk to Mdina, Malta's old capital, known as the Silent City, where many scenes from the famous series Game of Thrones were filmed. While wandering through the narrow streets of this medieval city, we will see the splendid Saint Paul Cathedral, the Falson Palace built in the 13th century by one of Malta's noble families, the Carmelite Monastery built in the Baroque style in the 17th century, Vilhena Palace, and the old houses of Mdina. After some free time, we will head to Valletta, where we will conduct our city tour. During this tour, we will have the opportunity to see the walls of this magnificent city from the outside. After our bus tour, we will explore the vibrant streets of Valletta with our guide. The first stop will be the Barracca Gardens, located on the upper part of the defensive walls surrounding this magnificent city. These gardens, built by the Knights of St. John, also offer a superb view of the Great Harbor and the three ancient cities surrounded by fortifications. After our break in Valletta, we return to our hotel for accommodation.
7th Day MALTA – ISTANBUL | Popeye’s Village & Sliema & MarsaxlokkAfter having breakfast at our hotel, we return the room keys to the reception. The rest of the day will be free time. Guests who wish can join our guide's optional tour of Popeye Village, Sliema, and Marsaxlokk fishing village (65 Euro). We arrive at Popeye Village, where the film "Popeye" was shot in 1980. We will explore the village and watch shows featuring Popeye, Olive Oyl, and Bluto. Afterward, we will visit Sliema, known as the face of the new Malta, where you can walk along the promenade and visit shopping stores. Sliema also features many restaurants and cafes with its vibrant life. After our Sliema tour, we will continue to visit the fishing village named "Marsaxlokk." You shouldn't miss the view of the small charming fishing boats with the unique colors and designs of Malta called Luzzo. Additionally, an open market is set up in this cute fishing village where guests can taste fresh fish and seafood during their free time. After the tour, we transfer to the airport. After ticketing and baggage processes, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1372 at 19:30. We arrive in Istanbul at 23:00 local time, and our tour concludes.
