1st Day ISTANBUL – BERLIN - POZNAN
Our tour begins with a meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at Istanbul Airport’s International Departures Terminal with our valued guests at 09:30. After handling luggage and ticket procedures, we will fly to Berlin on Turkish Airlines flight TK1725, departing at 12:20. We will arrive at 14:10 local time, and then proceed to Poznan with our private bus waiting at the airport. After arriving in Poznan, we will check in to our hotel and overnight will be at our hotel.
2nd Day POZNAN – WARSAW | Torun
After breakfast, we will start our city tour of Poznan. During our tour, we will see the Market Square, the City Hall which beautifully reflects the effects of the Renaissance in the country, St. Maria Magdelena Collegiate Church, one of the most beautiful Baroque structures in the country, and the Freedom Square. After our tour, we will head towards Warsaw. Guests who wish can join the optional Torun tour arranged along the way (35 Euro). Torun, known for its Gothic medieval architecture, is home to monumental churches, a historic town hall, and city walls. It is also the birthplace of Mikaloj Kopernik, who proved that the Earth is not at the center of the universe, and it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After visiting the old town center, the Town Hall, and Kopernik’s house, we will move towards Warsaw. Overnight will be at our hotel.
3rd Day WARSAW – KRAKOW | Czestochowa
After breakfast, a panoramic city tour of Warsaw will be organized. The sights we will see include the Royal Palace, the statue of III. Zygmunt Waza, the Royal Square, the Bell Tower Square, the monumental gate of Barbakan, the Mermaid monument, and Madame Curie's house. After our tour, guests who wish can join the optional Czestochowa tour arranged along the way (35 Euro). Known as the open-air museum of Poland, Czestochowa is home to the Black Madonna painting and the Pauline Monastery of Jasna Gora, which houses the temple of the Virgin Mary. This renowned city attracts about 5 million visitors each year. After visiting this holy city, we will proceed to Krakow.
4th Day KRAKOW | Wieliczka Salt Mine
After breakfast, our panoramic city tour of Krakow begins. We will first see the historic city center, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, where Pope II. Jean Paul was elected while he was the archbishop. You will feel like walking through medieval Europe in the largest square in Europe, surrounded by countless historic buildings. Then we will see Wawel Castle and Wawel Cathedral, where Pope II. Jean Paul gave his first sermon as a priest. Other notable sights include the Market Square, Cloth Hall-Sukiennice, St. Mary's Basilica, Florianska Street, Barbakan, and the Slowacki Theatre. After the city tour, guests wishing to join the optional Wieliczka Salt Mine tour organized by our guide can do so (70 Euro). The Wieliczka Salt Mine, which was used as a rock salt mine in the 13th century and transformed into an underground city filled with artistic works, is also on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After the tour, transfer back to the hotel. Guests wishing to spend an entertaining evening may join an optional traditional Polish evening tour organized by our guide, where they can taste local dishes in a restaurant with live music (75 Euro). Overnight will be at our hotel.
5th Day KRAKOW – WROCLAW | Auschwitz
After breakfast, we head towards Wroclaw. Guests wishing to join the optional Auschwitz Nazi Camp tour organized by our guide can do so (60 Euro). Auschwitz-Birkenau, where approximately 1.5 million Jews were subjected to systematic torture and extermination during World War II, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and we will visit the camp. After our tour, we arrive in Wroclaw and begin our Wroclaw city tour. During the city tour, we will see the Market Square, the Town Hall which began construction in the 13th century and is still used for social and cultural events, and Ostrow Tumski, the “Cathedral Island” which has a history dating back to the 9th century. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight will be at our hotel.
6th Day WROCLAW – BERLIN | Dresden
After breakfast, we head towards Berlin. Guests wishing to join the optional Dresden tour organized by our guide along the way can do so (35 Euro). After arriving in Dresden, our city tour begins. The sights we will see include the Semper Opera House, Theater Square, Frauenkirche, Martin Luther Square, and Prager Strasse. After seeing Dresden, we will continue to Berlin. Arrive in Berlin and overnight will be at our hotel.
7th Day BERLIN | Potsdam
After breakfast, we embark on a city tour of Berlin. During our panoramic city tour, the sights we will see include Alexanderplatz, Fernsehturm (TV Tower), Rotes Rathaus (Berlin City Hall), Nikolai Square, Berlin Cathedral, Schlossplatz and Unter den Linden Boulevard, famous for its two cathedrals, Friedrichstraße and Gendarmenmarkt, remnants of the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, and Kurfürstendamm Boulevard. Guests wishing to join the optional Potsdam tour organized by our guide can do so (50 Euro). Potsdam, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage, features sights like Sanssouci Palace, the Obelisk, Brandenburg Gate, Nikolai Church, the Historical Mill Ende, the Russian Colony Alexandrowka, and the French Church. After the tour, transfer back to the hotel and overnight will be at our hotel.
8th Day BERLIN – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we check out from the hotel. Transfer to Berlin airport. After handling ticket and luggage procedures, we will depart to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1726 at 15:10. We will arrive in Istanbul at 19:10 local time, and this concludes our tour.
