1. DAY ISTANBUL – HURGHADA – LUXOR
We meet at the Pegasus Airlines counter at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, External Terminal at the designated time, after check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Hurghada with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight. After arriving at Hurghada International Airport, we proceed to Luxor with our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport. After our arrival, we will have a Luxor city tour. During the panoramic city tour, places to be seen include Sphinxes Street, the Luxor market, and the Mummification Museum. After the city tour, we head to the ship. After checking in upon arrival at the ship, we have free time. Guests who wish can join the Luxor and Karnak Temple Tour (90 Euro) organized by our guide as an extra. In our tour, we will head to see Karnak Temple, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and is the largest ancient structure ever built in the world. Surrounded by 20-meter high mud brick walls, this magnificent structure, which includes many temples, provides important information about Egypt's history and mythology. You will feel mesmerized while exploring this grand structure, which took over 2000 years to construct and every pharaoh made more additions to the temple than his predecessor. After visiting Karnak Temple, we will tour the Luxor Temple, built by the 9th Pharaoh in honor of the greatest Egyptian gods, Amon, where the world's largest open-air museum resides. After touring the open-air museum-like temple, we move back to our riverboat. Overnight stay on the riverboat.
2. DAY LUXOR
After breakfast, we have free time. Guests who wish can join the Luxor Balloon Tour (150 Euro) organized by our guide as an optional activity. We will move from our riverboat at dawn, and with a hot air balloon, we will have a bird's-eye view of many temples in Luxor and even the Valley of the Kings. After this tour, we will have free time. Guests who wish can join the Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Tour & Colossi of Memnon (100 Euro) organized by our guide as an extra. Our first visit will be to the Valley of the Kings, where magnificent tombs carved into the desert rocks were built for the afterlife of pharaohs filled with treasures. We will also visit the tomb of King Tutankhamun here. Next, we will visit Hatshepsut Temple, one of the most striking monuments in Egypt. Here, as we wander through the temple's grand courtyards and admire the intricate hieroglyphic decorations, we will also learn about the famous queen Hatshepsut, who posed as a male to gain the throne. Later, we will visit the Memnon Colossi, two monumental statues representing Amenhotep III (1386-1353 BC) of Egypt's 18th Dynasty. Located to the west of modern Luxor, these statues face East towards the Nile River. After our tour, we return to our ship and have lunch. After, our ship sets sail towards Edfu. Lunch, dinner, and overnight onboard the ship.
3. DAY EDFU – KOM OMBO – ASWAN
After breakfast, we have free time. Guests who wish can join the Edfu & Kom Ombo Temple Tour (80 Euro) organized by our guide as an extra. Edfu Temple was built for the Falcon-headed God Horus based on traditional Egyptian Temple Architecture. It is one of the best-preserved temples to this day. Upon returning to the ship, we have lunch while our Deluxe Riverboat continues its journey towards Kom Ombo. After arriving in Kom Ombo, we will visit the Kom Ombo Temple, which was constructed in the 2nd century BC during the Ptolemaic Dynasty. It is the only temple in history that is shared by two gods, with one side dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek and the other side dedicated to the Falcon God Haroeris. The temple has been damaged over the centuries due to floods from the Nile River. After the tour, we return to our ship. Our ship then moves towards Aswan. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
4. DAY ASWAN
After breakfast, we have free time. Guests who wish can join the lunch included Abu Simbel Tour (100 Euro) organized as an extra by our guide. In our tour, we will visit the Abu Simbel Temple, which is one of the most important in world history that underwent the relocation process and is protected by UNESCO World Heritage List. Located in the southernmost region of Egypt, bordering Sudan, this area is considered one of the must-visit places after the Pyramids of Egypt. Following our visit to this area, we head to a local restaurant for lunch. After our meal, we transfer back to our riverboat. Guests who wish can also participate in the Aswan Boat Tour (45 euros per person) organized by our guide as an extra. After the tour, we have dinner, and overnight on the ship.
5. DAY ASWAN – CAIRO
After breakfast, we have free time. Then, guests who wish can join the Nubian Village & Philae Temple Tour (80 euros per person) organized as an extra by our guide. Our first stop will be the Nubian village. In this tour, you will have the chance to closely observe the colorful houses and local life, experiencing both the culture and history of the local people. Additionally, you can take photos with crocodiles at the village's crocodile farm. Our next stop will be Philae Temple. We will reach this visit with a short boat ride across the Nile River; here we will visit the Philae Temple, also known as “The Temple of Love,” which is dedicated to the goddess Isis. This temple is also one of the best-preserved structures of ancient Egypt. After our tour, we transfer to Aswan Airport. We will take a local airline flight to Cairo. Upon our arrival in Cairo, we begin our panoramic city tour. During our tour, we will see among others: the Old city center, Muhammad Ali Mosque, the Monumental Tomb of Sadat, Baron Palace, Tahrir Square, and the downtown area along the Nile. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
6. DAY CAIRO
After breakfast, we have free time. Guests who wish can join the Giza Pyramids & Sphinx & Khan El Khalili Bazaar Tour (90 Euro) organized by our guide as an extra. We will visit the Giza Pyramids, which includes the Great Pyramid of Khufu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and the Sphinx, which is believed to have been constructed with magical powers to protect the pharaoh's tombs and pyramids. After that, we will have free time for shopping at the Khan El Khalili bazaar, known as Egypt's indoor market. After the tour, we will return to our hotel. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
7. DAY CAIRO – ISTANBUL
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel and then carry out our check-out procedures (check-out time from the hotel will be at 11:00). After that, guests who wish can join the New Cairo Museum Tour (70 Euro) organized by our guide as an extra. We will visit this magnificent museum, which will open in 2024 and houses over 100,000 historical artifacts from ancient Egypt. After our visit, we have free time. Guests who wish can participate in the dinner and entertainment Nile River Cruise (60 Euro) organized as an optional activity by our guide. On this cruise, we will have the chance to see Cairo illuminated as we travel along one of the longest rivers in the world that splits Cairo in two and gives life to Egypt while enjoying our dinner. After our tour, we transfer to Sphinx Airport.
8. DAY CAIRO – ISTANBUL
After the completion of baggage and check-in procedures, we will depart for Istanbul with Pegasus Airlines' scheduled flight. Arrival in Istanbul and the end of our tour.
