Our ship will dock at Hellesylt port at 09:00 in the morning. After breakfast, guests have free time for personal activities, and those who wish can participate in the “Hellesylt & Geiranger Tour” organized by our guide for an additional fee. This tour will visit two enchanting villages at the end of Storfjord—the former northern post ports, now popular cruise ports with an average of 180 ship visits annually due to the difficulty of land access. We begin our tour by greeting the Hellesylt Waterfall... Once known as the postal route to the north, it is now a tourism hub. Our first stop will be a viewpoint to see the Hellyslyt fjord and take pictures of the fjord. Next, we will visit the well-preserved stone bridge from the 1800s and then head to Hornindal Lake, the deepest lake in Europe, where we will take a break. After resuming our journey, we will stop in Stryn, one of the region’s most bustling towns, known for its fishing spots that attract the royal family, where you will have free time for shopping and coffee/food. After a break at the foot of Lake Djupvatnet, you will be mesmerized by the scenery from the terrace at Dalsnibba Mountain, which is 1476 m high, if the weather permits. Following this, we will stop at the Flydal viewpoint to take pictures of the Geiranger fjord. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship, which will depart from the port at 21:00. Dinner and overnight stay will be on the ship.
DAY 4: ALESUND
Our ship will dock at Alesund port at 07:00 in the morning.
