01.DAY ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MOSCOW
Meeting with our valued guests at Istanbul New Airport's international departure terminal at 05:35. After baggage - check-in procedures, we will depart for Moscow on Turkish Airlines flight TK 413 at 08:25. Arrival in Moscow at 12:25, and after being welcomed at the airport, we will set off for the “Panoramic City Tour of Moscow.” During the panoramic city tour, we will see places such as the historical center Red Square, which has been a scene of political and social turmoil, the colorful onion-shaped St. Basil's Cathedral, the Kremlin Palace, the Bolshoi Theater, Tverskaya Street, Gorky Park, Novodevichy Monastery, Swan Lake, Luzhniki Stadium, Lenin Hill, and finally Moscow University. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time.
02.DAY MOSCOW
After breakfast at our hotel, there will be free time. Guests may join an optional tour to Kremlin Palace & Moscow Metro & Arbat & Nazim Hikmet’s Grave that will be organized by our guide. The Kremlin, where Russian President Vladimir Putin's working office is located, also contains the Cathedral of the Assumption, considered the most important church in Moscow since the 14th century, and the world's largest bell. Our tour will continue with the Moscow Metro, which was initiated by Stalin in 1931 and is considered the most beautiful metro in the world due to its architecture and decoration, compared to the metros of New York, Paris, or London. Arbat Street, which runs through the center of Moscow, is a road that every visitor to this city should walk at least once and enjoy the colorful shop windows. Here you can browse through the shops, taste the best examples of Russian and world cuisine, relax in chic cafes that rival Paris, and enjoy observing the Russians who have lost themselves in the flow of life. After that, we will visit Nazim Hikmet's grave at Novodevichy Monastery (where his grave is also located). After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
03.DAY MOSCOW – ST.PETERSBURG (TRAIN JOURNEY)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out of our rooms and transfer to the train station. After our journey from Moscow to St. Petersburg by train, we will be greeted upon arrival and set off for the “Panoramic City Tour of St. Petersburg.” During the panoramic city tour, we will have the opportunity to see the streets adorned with the finest examples of the world's most famous architects and artists, as well as the city's historical and touristic sites. Among the places we will see are the famous Nevsky Prospect, Old Port Lighthouses, the Mint, the Statue of Peter the Great, Winter Palace, Palace Square, the Admiralty Building, and the Aurora Cruiser. After the city tour, transfer to our hotel. Free time and accommodation at our hotel in St. Petersburg. At the end of the tour, guests may join an optional “Russian Night Tour,” which will be organized by our guide. You shouldn’t miss the chance to enjoy dinner at Troika Restaurant, one of the most beautiful restaurants in St. Petersburg, along with magnificent dance performances. 04.DAY ST.PETERSBURG
After breakfast, there will be free time. Guests may join an optional tour to “Hermitage, Peter and Paul Fortress & Canal Tours.” The Hermitage, located by the Neva River, is one of the largest museums in the world and in Russia, housing around 4 million pieces from the Tsarist period. It is also recognized by the Guinness World Records for having the most paintings. After that, we will start our canal tour, during which we will see St. Petersburg from the waterways, extending to the Neva River. The tour will then continue with a visit to Peter and Paul Fortress. Built by Peter the Great in the early 1700s, this fortress is located on the Neva River. The cathedral within the fortress is the burial site of the Romanov dynasty. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
05.DAY ST.PETERSBURG
After breakfast, there will be free time. Guests can optionally join the “Peterhof and Pushkin Tsar Town Tours.” In this tour, we will visit the summer palace built by Peter, designed based on his plans by Italian architect Rastrelli, located by the Gulf of Finland. The palace complex, which rivals the Palace of Versailles in Paris, is adorned with 150 monumental fountains and 4 waterfalls in its gardens. Despite suffering significant damage during World War II, it has been restored while remaining true to its original architecture. The park complex known as Tsar Town, built by Catherine in the 18th century, occupies an area of 600 hectares, where the main building is Catherine Palace. The Amber Room here is particularly interesting, although due to the crowds in the summer months, many tourists could not visit it. The famous poet Pushkin also studied at the school located in this famous town. After the tour, transfer to our hotel.
06.DAY ST.PETERSBURG – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
After breakfast, there will be free time. In the evening, transfer to the airport at the time determined by our guide. After our arrival, passport and check-in procedures.
07.DAY ST.PETERSBURG – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Departure with Turkish Airlines flight TK 404 at 01:35 to Istanbul. Arrival in Istanbul at 05:25 local time. We hope to meet you on our next tour.
