1st Day İstanbul – Casablanca – Marrakech
At the Turkish Airlines counter in the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport, meeting 3 hours before the flight. After baggage and ticket procedures, we depart for Casablanca at 12:00 PM with Turkish Airlines flight TK 617. We arrive in Casablanca at 2:55 PM local time. Afterward, we proceed to Marrakech with our vehicle waiting at the airport. Upon arrival in Marrakech, we start exploring Marrakech, which will take you back centuries with its narrow streets, a city meaning "Land of God" in the language of the Berber people, the oldest indigenous people of North Africa. Known as the "Red City" due to its famous red walls, Marrakech is one of the country's most important tourist centers. During our city tour, we will visit Bahia Palace, which offers a great impression of what it was like to be a noble in the 19th century in Morocco, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Majorelle Gardens housing a global collection of plants, and the heart of the city, the Djemaa El Fna square, which is referred to as the "Souks and Miracles Courtyard." After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and have free time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
2nd Day Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel, we will join the Magnificent Essaouira Tour. Essaouira, located on the coast, has hosted civilizations since ancient times. It is known for its white-walled medina (city center), narrow streets, and traditional markets. The city center is listed as a UNESCO "World Heritage" site and, while being a fishing port, is also a serene coastal town where art and culture intertwine. Essaouira has attracted many famous artists over the years, such as Cat Stevens, Jimi Hendrix, and Orson Welles, making it a cultural center. The town was also the filming location for the famous Game Of Thrones series. On our tour, we will see the Essaouira ramparts and the Essaouira Castle, the Essaouira Port where the fish market is located, and the world-famous Medina. You will also find the opportunity for pleasant shopping while exploring Essaouira, which carries the elegance of traditional Moroccan architecture combined with traces of modern living. After the tour, we return to our hotel in Marrakech. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
3rd Day Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel, we will join the The Magnificent Atlas Mountains and Ourika Valley tour. The highest peak in the Atlas Mountains, which serve as a natural wall separating the Mediterranean coast of Northwest Africa from the Sahara Desert, is Toubkal, located near Marrakech. The mountain range is also home to a significant number of plants and animals that are at risk of extinction. The indigenous Berber people, known as the oldest native population in North Africa, offer visitors a different experience with their unique cultures and ways of life amidst the stunning scenery of the mountains. During our break in the Ourika Valley at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, we will find peace in the beauty of nature. After the tour, we return to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
4th Day Marrakech – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Meknes. Situated between the coastal plains and the peaks of the Atlas Mountains, this city has been a cultural and commercial junction since ancient times. Known as the "City of a Hundred Minarets," Meknes hosts many significant structures. During the city tour in Meknes, we will see the breathtaking Bab Mansour city gate with its Moorish architectural style, the Agdal Basin built by Moulay Ismail, Lahdim Square, and Dar El Makhzen (Royal Palace). After the tour, we move towards Fes, the former capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Following the tradition of naming after the capitals of Berber countries similar to Tunisia and Algeria, Morocco is also named after the city of Fes. Surrounded by walls and situated along the banks of the Fez River, the city is also referred to as the "Mecca of the West." The old city center of Fes is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is one of the largest and oldest pedestrian areas in the world. During our tour of the old city, we will visit some unique examples of Islamic architecture such as Bou Inania and Al Attarine Medersas, the Andalusian Mosque, the world's oldest higher education institution, Karaouine University, Nejjarine Square, and the artisans' market. The tanneries in the Medina use techniques that have remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
5th Day Fes – Blue Chefchaouen – Fes
After breakfast at the hotel, we will join the “Magnificent City Blue Chefchaouen” tour. Located in the northwest of Morocco, at the foothills of the Rif Mountains, this enchanting town is famous for its blue-painted buildings, earning it the nickname "Blue City." Every corner and street in Chefchaouen is painted in different shades of blue, captivating visitors with its natural beauty and unique atmosphere. While wandering through the narrow streets of the town, you can explore traditional markets, handicraft shops, and local restaurants. The town also reflects the local culture and lifestyle; the indigenous people maintain the Berber tradition and provide a warm welcome to visitors. The unique blue atmosphere and natural beauty of Chefchaouen have made it one of Morocco's most attractive and unforgettable destinations. After the tour, we return to our hotel in Fes. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
6th Day Fes – Rabat – Casablanca
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Morocco's capital, the Magnificent Capital Rabat. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour to see Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum built in memory of the current king's grandfather, and the Royal Palace. After the tour, we head to Casablanca. As we arrive, our city tour begins. Casablanca, famous for the Hollywood movie named after the city released in 1942, is not only the economic center of the country but also the most populous city. While walking through its streets, you will notice the rich cultural heritage reflected in the influences of Islam, French, and Berber. Key attractions in Casablanca include Mohammed V Square, the United Nations Square where the past and present of Morocco blend beautifully, Hassan II Mosque (viewed from the outside) with its impressive structure and the second tallest minaret in the world, the Old Medina, and the Hobus district known for its open-air markets, as well as the Ain Diab and Corniche along the Atlantic Ocean coast. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and have free time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
7th Day Casablanca – Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel and check-out procedures, there will be free time. Then, at the time indicated by your guide, we will head to the airport. After baggage and ticket processes, we depart for Istanbul at 4:50 PM with Turkish Airlines flight TK 618. We arrive at 11:30 PM local time, and the tour concludes.
