Day 1 Istanbul – Copenhagen
Arrive at Istanbul Airport International Departures terminal in front of the Turkish Airlines counter 3 hours before your flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1783 at 07:15 to Copenhagen. After arriving locally at 09:30, our waiting vehicle will start our city tour. Copenhagen, meaning "trading port" in Danish, is the capital and most populous city of Denmark. The city is known for its unique architecture, colorful buildings, and lively port areas. According to research, the Danish people are considered among the happiest in the world. During the city tour, sights such as Nyhavn Canal, Christiansborg Palace, Amalienborg Palace, and Stroget shopping street will be visited. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Copenhagen
After breakfast at the hotel, we join the Denmark's Magnificent Castles (Kronborg & Frederiksborg) tour. Our first stop is Kronborg Castle. Located in Helsingør, Denmark, Kronborg Castle is one of the country's most famous historical structures. Built in the 15th century, this impressive castle has preserved its medieval grandeur and has been a significant residence for Danish royalty. It is best known for hosting Shakespeare’s "Hamlet"; thus, it holds great importance in both history and literature. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000, Kronborg is of great historical and architectural significance. Afterward, our second stop will be Frederiksborg Palace. Located in Hillerød, Denmark, over a stunning lake and exemplifying North Renaissance architecture, the palace is regarded as one of the finest examples of this style. Built by King Christian IV in the 16th century, it served as an elegant residence for the Danish royal family. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Copenhagen – Malmö – Gothenburg
Following breakfast at the hotel, we head to Malmö. Malmö is known for its long bridge, parks, and historic buildings. Situated in the southern region of Skåne, it is Denmark's third-largest and Scandinavia's sixth-largest city. During the city tour here, sights include Stortorget Square, City Hall, the vibrant Lilla Torg Square with cafes and restaurants, and Sankt Petri Church. Afterward, we proceed to Gothenburg, Sweden's second-largest city. Situated on Sweden's west coast near the Atlantic Ocean, Gothenburg is often described as a paradise city. Built around the Göta River, it is known for its rich historical and cultural heritage and is Scandinavia’s largest port city. Notable sights include the Avenue Boulevard, Gustav Adolf Square, Poseidon Fountain, Botanical Garden, and various opera and teatro buildings. After the city tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 Gothenburg – Oslo
After breakfast, we depart for Oslo, Norway’s largest city and Scandinavia’s fourth-largest. Oslo, founded in 1049 as a port city and originally called "Christiania," has been known as Oslo since 1925. The city tour includes sights such as the Royal Palace, Municipality Hall, National Theatre, Oslo Cathedral, Karl Johans Street, Opera House, Akershus Fortress, and Frogner Park. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 Oslo
After breakfast, join the magnificent Fjord Tour. Early morning departure for a full-day tour. Once there, we will take a boat ride to photograph Norway’s breathtaking fjords, with waterfalls cascading from snowy mountains—an experience not to be missed. Following this, we participate in the Famous Flam Railway Tour. Known as one of the world’s most beautiful train journeys, the Flamsbana train offers spectacular natural scenery and a nostalgic experience through Norway's landscape. Along the 20 km route, recognized as the steepest railway line in the world, travelers will enjoy unique visual surprises at every kilometer. After this unforgettable tour, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 Oslo – Stockholm
After breakfast, depart for Stockholm, one of Northern Europe’s most beautiful, calm, and colorful cities. The Swedish capital and largest city, Stockholm, has long been a hub of culture, art, and economy for the country, attracting many tourists with its colorful buildings, historic sites, and natural beauty. During the city tour, sights include the City Hall, Kungsträdgården Central Park, the National Theatre building, the Stock Exchange building, the old town (Gamla Stan), the Royal Palace, and Fjällgatan Hill. Afterward, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 Stockholm
After breakfast, join the Majestic Swedish Treasures tour, visiting Uppsala and Djurgården Island and the Vasa Museum. Our first stop is Uppsala, Sweden’s fourth-largest city and one of the country’s oldest historical sites. Its unique cultural attractions and exciting history add to its appeal. The city tour includes Uppsala Cathedral, Uppsala University (with a history of over 550 years), and Fyris River that splits the city. Next, we visit Djurgården Island, a fairy-tale-like enchanted island in the heart of Stockholm, where Skansen and the old stone paths evoke a nostalgic atmosphere. Once a royal private estate, it is now Scandinavia’s first national city park. The last stop is the Vasa Museum, which houses the 17th-century warship Vasa. Launched in 1628, the ship was intended as a mighty war vessel but tragically sank on its first voyage. Recovered from the sea in 1961, it serves as a time capsule. Visitors can explore the enormous ship and take photos of its huge sails and majestic size. After the tour, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 Stockholm – Istanbul
After breakfast, enjoy free time until the guide’s announced time. Then, transfer to Stockholm Airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1796 at 18:30 to Istanbul. Arrive at 23:15 local time, and end of our tour.
Important Notes:
• For this tour, a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the tour date is required.
• Atlas International acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline and is subject to the 1955 Hague Protocol.
• During registration, the name, date of birth, and passport number on the passport must be correctly entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued based on this information. Cancellations or changes due to incorrect information, and no-show fees, are charged to the passenger.
• The city where the plane will land may vary. Atlas International is not responsible for any schedule changes or possible delays made by the airline.
• Group tickets are subject to airline rules; if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either.
• The general luggage weight limit for flights originating from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and destination country. Domestic flights within destination countries may have a limit of 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/fees are determined by airlines and are not the responsibility of Atlas International.
• If the number of participants in the package tour is insufficient, the tour will be canceled 20 days in advance and the consumer will be notified.
• The tour itinerary provided is an example route. The route may change. City orientation tours may be scheduled for the next day(s) depending on arrival times. Tours listed in the program may be carried out on days different from those specified, at the discretion of the guide.
• City orientation tours may be conducted on the next day(s) depending on arrival times.
• Tours specified in the program may be postponed or changed at the discretion of the guide for any reason.
• Extra tours can be organized if at least 20 participants are present. If participation is less, excursions may be canceled or changed in price at the discretion of the guide. Atlas International is not responsible for the inability to perform these tours.
• Extra tours on the way will only be carried out if at least 10 people join. Guests not wishing to participate will wait at the rest stop.
• Permits or restrictions imposed by local authorities prevent certain visits or tours. Atlas International is not responsible if such tours cannot be performed.
• Entrance fees to museums and archaeological sites are not included in the prices.
• Atlas International reserves the right to change hotel names while maintaining star ratings.
• All hotel names and categories listed are examples for illustration; this does not guarantee the actual accommodation.
• There are extra beds available in triple rooms; the third bed is smaller than standard and/or an additional foldaway bed.
• Minors under 18 must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian. Travel consent forms must be kept with the travelers during the trip.
• In case of cancellations or changes, the "Atlas International Sales Contract" remains valid.
