Meeting at the Turkish Airlines counter in the International Departures of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After our baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Belgrade on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1081 at 07:50. Arrival in Belgrade at 08:30 local time and transfer to the city center with our vehicle waiting at the airport. We start our panoramic city tour upon our arrival in Belgrade. During our panoramic city tour, we see the daily life of the city, important buildings, and the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, intentionally left bombed by NATO in the midst of the city. As we continue our tour, we will take a walking tour after getting off the bus, where we will visit the Flag Mosque, Belgrade Fortress, Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, Clock Tower, Sokollu Mehmed Pasha Fountain, Military Museum, Istanbul Gate, Dungeon Gate, Leopold Gate, Stefan Lazarevic Monument, Nebojsa Tower, Castle Square, Saborna Church, Republic Square, Libra Square, and Stone Square. We conclude our city tour with a stroll down Knez Mihajlova Street, considered the heart of the city. During the free time until the gathering time announced by our guide, you can shop or enjoy the cafes along the street. We will transfer to our hotel at the time set by our guide. 2nd Day BelgradeAfter breakfast at the hotel, we leave for the magnificent Novi Sad & Karlovci tour. Our first stop is Novi Sad, the capital of the Vojvodina region. Among the places we will visit are Petrovaradin Fortress, Freedom Square, Svetozar Miletic Statue, Catholic Cathedral, Orthodox Holy Trinity Cathedral, and St. Nicholas Church. After our tour, we will head to the town of Karlovci. This town is famous for the Treaty of Karlovci, signed in 1699 between the Ottoman Empire and the Holy League. During our city tour here, we will see the city council, Catholic Church, Four Lions Fountain, and the Chapel of Peace. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
3rd Day BelgradeAfter breakfast at the hotel, we embark on the tour of Nikola Tesla’s Magnificent Museum & Tito’s Grave and Museum & Zemun. Our first stop is the Museum of Nikola Tesla, the inventor of alternating current, famous for his contributions to science. The museum, founded in 1952, contains over 160,000 original documents detailing Tesla’s life, thousands of books and magazines, many photographs, Tesla’s personal belongings, and models of his inventions. Next, we visit Tito’s mausoleum, known as the House of Flowers, where the remains of the former leader of Yugoslavia, Tito, are laid in a coffin in the center of a single-story building. Exhibits of Tito’s life and personal belongings are also displayed here. Our final stop is Zemun. Located along the banks of the Danube River and opposite the Belgrade Fortress, we will visit Usce Fortress, Gardos Hill, and its Tower. You will enjoy your time in this area with Austro-Hungarian influences with its cobblestoned narrow streets. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
4th Day Belgrade - IstanbulAfter breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time. Later, we will transfer to the airport at a time determined by the guide. After our baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1080 at 16:10. Arrival in Istanbul at 19:00 local time and the end of our tour.
Important Notes;
• For this tour, a passport valid for at least 6 months covering the minimum tour duration is required.
• Atlas International acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955.
• During the registration, the name, date of birth, and passport number as stated in the passport must be entered into the system. Plane tickets are issued based on this information. Any cancellation or changes to tickets resulting from incorrect information will incur no-show fees charged to the guests.
• The city of arrival may vary. Atlas International cannot be held responsible for schedule changes and possible delays that may occur by the airline companies.
• For group tickets, airline rules apply; if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either due to group ticket rules.
• The general baggage weight for outbound flights from Turkey is 20Kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. In domestic flights in the visited countries, this weight may drop to 15Kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and Atlas International is not responsible.
• In case of insufficient participation for the package tour, cancellation of the tour will be notified to the consumer 20 days in advance.
• The tour route specified in the program is a sample route and changes may occur in the tour itinerary. Tours specified in the programs may be conducted on different days than stated at the discretion of the guide for any reason.
