1st DAY ISTANBUL – BARCELONA
Meet with our esteemed guests in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the Istanbul Airport Departures international terminal 3 hours before the flight time. After baggage and ticket procedures, flight to Barcelona with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Upon our arrival, Barcelona panoramic city tour. The capital of the Catalonia Autonomous Community and the second largest city in Spain, where the magnificent works of the famous Architect Antoni Gaudi are located, attracts four times its population in tourists due to its works. The places to be visited include the “Never-Ending Church” known as La Sagrada Familia, Spain and Catalunya Square, Gaudi's Houses (Casa Batllo and Casa Mila), Catalunya Square, La Rambla Street, and Port Olimpic. Transfer to the hotel after the city tour. In the evening, our guests can join the Barcelona Night & Gothic Quarter Tour (30 Euro) organized by our guide, if they wish. In this tour, we will have the opportunity to see Barcelona, known as the city that never sleeps, lit up. After that, we will head to the Gothic Quarter where we will visit Barcelona Cathedral, the Temple of Augustus, and the famous street of the area, Carrer del Bisbe, followed by free time for dinner. Then, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
2nd DAY BARCELONA
After breakfast, our guests who wish can participate in an extra tour organized by our guide called Girona & Figueras & Mercat de la Boqueria Tour (85 Euro). We will start our tour in Girona, the richest city in the area, established on the banks of the Onyar River, which at first glance reminds one of Florence. Girona, with its narrow streets and cathedral, is a charming medieval town worth seeing and is also where the film of the perfume was shot. In our panoramic tour, we will see the Lion Sculpture, Cathedral Square, the Mezuzah houses, the Jewish Quarter, Rambla, and its famous shops. After free time, we will head towards Figueras town with a view of the Pyrenees mountains. The town has such an impressive atmosphere that it has inspired the borderless painter Salvador Dali throughout his life. Here, we will visit the museum house decorated by the famous surrealist painter “Salvador Dali” himself. In this museum, where the value of each artwork is expressed in millions of dollars, we will see the museum with his works, including those depicting his immortal love Gala and mind-bending pieces, followed by free time. Then we will move to our next destination, La Rambla Street in the city center. Our next stop is Mercat de la Boqueria, located on La Rambla, the most touristy street in Barcelona. Considered the most famous shopping spot in Spain, “mercat,” meaning “market” and “marketplace” in Spanish, is one of the most original places where you can experience the shopping culture in the country and observe the habits of the local people. At this point, we give free time. In the evening, guests who want to spend time in a fun environment can join the Flamenko Night (55 Euro) organized by our guide. Overnight at our hotel.
3rd DAY BARCELONA – MADRID
After breakfast at the hotel, we will move towards Madrid by our private bus. On the way, our guests can participate in an extra tour called Zaragoza Tour (30 Euro) organized by our guide. During our tour, we will visit the Ebro River, the main cathedral of the city, Pilar Cathedral, La Seo Cathedral, San Pablo Church, Plaza Espana, and Pilar Bridge. After the tour, we will continue our way towards Madrid. Our panoramic Madrid city tour starts with Plaza Mayor, the large square. This square has 136 buildings with 437 balconies opening to the courtyard. In the past, bullfights and public executions were watched from these balconies. The heart of the city, Puerta Del Sol, the large square called Plaza Mayor, Plaza De Oriente, where the Royal Palace addresses the public, Alcalá Gate, built to demonstrate the richness of the city, Gran Via with its colonnade roofs, Plaza Colon, and Cibeles Square with its fountain and Cervantes Monument will be among the places to visit. After the tour, we return to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
4th DAY MADRID
After breakfast at the hotel, there will be free time. Our guests who wish can participate in the extra tour organized called Toledo Tour (70 Euro). Toledo is a true open-air museum and the former capital of Spain, one of the most important cities on UNESCO's World Heritage list. With the most magnificent cathedral in the country, it has become a competitor to the world-renowned museums while hosting the works of famous painters. Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has managed to remain unchanged since the 16th century. Buildings bearing marks of Roman, Visigoth, Arab, Gothic, Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, El Greco’s paintings, typical patisseries, Damascene shops, and of course the famous cathedral make it a tourist pilgrimage site. Another tradition in Toledo is the production of marzipan, dating back to the time when the Arabs conquered the city. One cannot say the Toledo visit is complete without tasting this mouth-watering confection. After our walk through the Jewish quarter, we will return to Madrid. Overnight at our hotel.
5th DAY MADRID – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, depending on flight time, transfer to Madrid Airport. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, depart to Istanbul with the scheduled flight of Turkish Airlines.. Arrival in Istanbul and end of our tour.
