1. Day ISTANBUL - NAPLES
We meet at Adnan Menderes Airport international departure terminal three hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and check-in procedures, we proceed to our Naples flight with Corendon Airlines. Upon arrival, based on local time, we transfer to our waiting private bus for a city tour. Naples was founded by the Greeks in the 7th century BC and is the capital of the Campania region in southern Italy. The city became an important center during the Roman Empire and has hosted many cultures and civilizations from the Middle Ages to the present. City Center (Centro Storico) is famous for its narrow streets, historic churches, ancient ruins, and magnificent squares. Naples Cathedral (Duomo di Napoli) was built in the 13th century, this fortress Castel Nuovo (New Castle) , Palazzo Reale (Royal Palace) , San Carlo Theater, Galleria Umberto I, Via Toledo street are the most important structures of the city. In the evening, we head to our hotel for rest and free time.
2. Day ROME – (POMPEII – SORRENTO)
After breakfast, we check out from the hotel, and for those interested, an optional Pompeii- Sorrento tour (120 €) is organized. We head to the ancient city of Pompeii, which was buried under ash after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Pompeii was an important trade and cultural center during the Roman Empire. The city was prosperous in agriculture, commerce, and art. However, a sudden eruption of Mount Vesuvius buried it under lava and ash. This disaster froze the daily life of Pompeii in time, preserving it as an open-air museum until today. After our visit to Pompeii, we head to the beautiful seaside town of Sorrento, situated on the southern coast of the Gulf of Naples. Sorrento is surrounded by stunning views of the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. It is built on rocky cliffs overlooking the sea and is famous for its picturesque beaches, lemon gardens, and olive groves. Sorrento has a famous square called Piazza Tasso; surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and shops. Our next stop is Sorrento Cathedral (Duomo di Sorrento). Afterward, we enjoy the view of the bay, which looks like a tableau, and then we head to Rome, the capital of Italy. For interested guests, an optional Rome Night Tour (35 €) is organized by our guide. In the evening, we return to our hotel for relaxation and free time.
3. Day ROME
After breakfast, we proceed to Rome. Upon arrival, we will do a panoramic city tour. Visitors can also join a optional Rome Monuments Tour (45 €). Rome, once shining with endless splendor and shaped by the winds of history, has hosted emperors, gladiators, and the highest forms of art. During this tour, we will see Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned. Castel Sant’Angelo was originally built as a mausoleum by Emperor Hadrian and later transformed into a fortress. During the Middle Ages and Renaissance, it was used as a prison and papal fortress. We will also see the city’s heart, the Colosseum. In this gigantic arena, brave gladiators and wild animals once fought epic battles to the cheers of the people. After the Colosseum, we will approach the Trevi Fountain, famous from the movie ‘Roman Holiday’. Among its dazzling sculptures, the melody of water echoes. When you make a wish and throw a coin into the fountain, the magic of Rome will never leave you. They say that everyone who visits here will return one day. Temple of Hadrian, Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps, which consist of 135 steps and include the famous Ship Fountain, will also be seen. At night, we return to our hotel for rest and free time.
4. Day ROME - (OUTLET – CASTEL GANDOLFO) – NEMI - ORVIETO- FLORENCE
After breakfast, we check out from the hotel. Optional excursions include the Outlet and Lakes Region (Outlet – Castel Gandolfo – Nemi) (75 €). We visit Castel Gandolfo, a charming town surrounding an elegant castle that extends towards the sky, where you will feel as if you stepped into a fairy tale. The town’s sky-blue lake, which resembles a mirror, offers tranquility and beauty. The Papal Palace in the heart of the town is a symbol of grandeur and history. Its gardens and colorful flower-lined paths will make you feel like you’re in a dream. Nemi is famous for its strawberry fields that shimmer like red jewels. The annual Strawberry Festival is celebrated with colorful festivities. After visiting Nemi, we have free time in the Italy’s most famous outlet shopping area. These outlets offer attractive shopping opportunities for both locals and tourists. You can discover souvenirs, gifts, and personal items in these modern shopping centers, exploring Italy’s rich history and culture. Next, we proceed to an
Orvieto Tour
We depart for Orvieto, which is situated above the Tiber River valley on tufaceous cliffs. Its strategic location offers breathtaking panoramic views. Known for its one of Italy’s most beautiful Gothic cathedrals, the Duomo di Orvieto, famous for its façade design and frescoes by Luca Signorelli, we visit the cathedral and the city center. Afterwards, we proceed to Florence in the evening for check-in and rest at our hotel.
5. Day FLORENCE – (SIENA – SAN GIMIGNANO – PISA)
After breakfast, free time. Interested guests can join an optional Tuscany (Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa) (120 €) tour. The first stop is the romantic city of Pisa. Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This world-famous tower is located in the Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli). This square also dazzles with its marble cathedral, the Duomo, and the Baptistery, all of which showcase the artistic and architectural richness of medieval Italy. After visiting Pisa, we head towards San Gimignano. When you step into this medieval town, the first thing you'll notice are its towers. Once there were 72 towers, but now only 14 remain. These towers were built to demonstrate the power and wealth of noble families. The Piazza del Duomo is the town's social and religious center, featuring the 12th-century San Gimignano Cathedral with its exquisite frescoes. Next, we visit Piazza della Cisterna, a charming square named after its ancient well. The square looks like a time portal with its stone buildings and historical structures. You can explore small shops selling local products and souvenirs or try the world-famous gelato at Gelateria Dondoli. After the tour, we proceed to Siena. When you arrive in Siena, known for its neighborhood culture, the first place you see is the Piazza del Campo, the city’s main square. It is considered one of the most beautiful squares in the world. The square features the Fonte Gaia, a marble fountain in its center, and hosts the famous Palio horse race twice a year. Siena Cathedral is also among the places to see; a magnificent Gothic structure covered with white and green marble. Walking through Siena's narrow, winding streets, you'll encounter historical sights at every turn. The city’s facades and old stone buildings tell their stories. In the evening, we return to Florence for check-in and rest at our hotel.
6. Day FLORENCE – VENICE
After breakfast, we start our Florence city tour. Florence is renowned as the birthplace of the Renaissance and holds a unique place in world cultural heritage. The city has been a center for art, science, and philosophy. Under the patronage of the Medici family, great artists and scientists like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Brunelleschi worked here. Florence is like an open-air art gallery, divided by the Arno River, which is famous for the Ponte Vecchio jewelry street, Palazzo Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria, home to Renaissance masterpieces including Michelangelo’s David. The Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore) with its magnificent dome is one of Italy’s tallest. The city tour ends with free time, and for those interested, an optional tour to see Renaissance masterpieces (45€), including Dante’s House, the Old Bridge, Uffizi Gallery, and Signoria Square. The tour highlights Florence’s artistic and historic points, like the Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, and Dante’s House. Afterward, we take a short ferry ride to San Marco Square in Venice, where we will see the Basilica of San Marco, famous for its golden mosaics and Byzantine architecture. We also visit the Bridge of Sighs, where prisoners took their last look at Venice, the Grand Canal, Doge's Palace, the Clock Tower, and the Church of Giorgio Maggiore. Venice is well-known for its canals, which define its unique charm. The evening is free for rest or exploration at your leisure.
7. Day VENICE - GARDEN OF GARA – MILAN
After breakfast, we head to Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake, to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. The waters of Lake Garda are emerald green and many shades of blue. A walk around the lake or simply enjoying the scenery is very relaxing. After the Lake Garda visit, we continue to Milan. Milan is a vibrant city in northern Italy, known as the fashion, design, and business hub. Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano), one of the most iconic structures of Milan, is a perfect example of Gothic architecture. It is the fifth-largest church in the world and one of Europe's largest Gothic cathedrals. Its façade is made of white marble with detailed sculptures. The cathedral has numerous statues and carvings on its front, and the most prominent is the golden Madonnina statue at the top, regarded as the city's protector. Next to the cathedral is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a magnificent shopping arcade famous for its glass ceiling and mosaic floors. Here, you will find luxury brand boutiques, elegant cafes, and restaurants. The gallery has four main entrances, with the most famous being from Piazza del Duomo. Upon entering, its stunning architecture immediately captures attention, blending modern engineering with traditional art. At night, we return to our hotel for rest or leisure time.
8. Day MILAN – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, the rooms are vacated, and we transfer to Bergamo Airport at the time advised by your guide. Corendon Airways’ special flight departs for Izmir. Upon arrival at Adnan Menderes Airport, our tour and services conclude.
