Day 3 Corfu
MSC FANTASIA will arrive at Corfu port at 13:00. After lunch, our passengers will have personal time to visit the area. Corfu is an island in the Ionian Sea, northwest of Greece, whose history dates back to 730 BC and has been influenced by various cultures due to the rule of many states throughout its history. It is particularly cosmopolitan in terms of art, architecture, cuisine, history, and cultural characteristics. You can start exploring this historic city from Corfu Town, which is characterized by Venetian architecture and features many streets and historical textures from the Middle Ages. Historical sites to visit in Corfu Town include Esplanade Park, the Old Fortress, St. Michael and George Palace, and St. George Church. Additionally, famous sites such as Canal d'Amor, Achilleion Palace, and Pantokrator Monastery should be seen. For those who prefer Corfu's beaches, Paleokastritsa, Glyfada, or La Grotta beaches are available to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of southern Italy. Our ship will depart from the port at 21:00. Day 4 Bari
MSC FANTASIA will arrive at Bari port at 07:00. After breakfast, our passengers will have personal time to visit the area. Bari, the capital of the Puglia region, located at the foot of southern Italy, is one of Italy's oldest cities. Because of its fascinating history, it is one of the favorite cities for tourists interested in history. Our guests should visit the Basilica of San Nicola, the Norman-Swabian Castle, the Cathedral Basilica of San Sabino, Piazza Mercantile, Piazza del Ferrarese, Via Sparano, and the Petruzzelli Theater, as well as the Bari Metropolitan Art Gallery to experience the city's historical past.
For those who prefer Bari's coast, they can go to the Beach of Lido San Francisco and enjoy the clear waters of southern Italy. Our ship will leave the port at 14:00. Day 5 Trieste (Venice)
MSC FANTASIA will arrive at Trieste (Venice) port at 09:00. After breakfast, our passengers will have personal time to visit the area. Trieste is a fascinating city with its culture, architecture, and incredible nature. It serves as a gateway to the Mediterranean, resulting in a rich culture influenced by many different cultures around it. The first places to visit in the city include Piazza Unita Building, Miramare Castle, San Giusto Basilica, Civic Museum, Borgo Teresiano, and Carsa Triestino Natural Area.
Other recommended places to visit include Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, the Grand Canal, Castle Hill, Santa Maria Maggiore, the Revoltella Civic Museum, and the Giant Grotto. Day 7 Katakolon (Olympia)
MSC FANTASIA will arrive at Katakolon port at 07:00. After breakfast, our passengers will have personal time to visit the area. The famous streets of Katakolon, Praxitelli and Kondily greet passengers as they disembark. Those passengers spending time in Katakolon are recommended to visit Pontikokastro (where Pontikon Castle, a historical architectural monument from the Byzantine era, is located), Skafidia Monastery, and the Mercouri Winery. For those wanting to spend time in the clear waters of the Greek beaches, Spinaza Beach or Katakolo Beach are recommended. For those wishing to go to the Ancient Olympia World Heritage Site, there is a distance of 35 kilometers, and minibuses to there depart from Katakolon. Olympia is known for being the center of the Olympic Games held in honor of Zeus, the chief god of Ancient Greece, since 776 BC. Suggested places to visit in Olympia include the Archaeological Museum, the Archimedes Museum, the Ancient Olympic Games Museum, and the Nikolopoulos Andritsena Library. Suggested historical sites to visit in Kuşadası include the Ancient City of Ephesus, Güvercinada Castle, Sevda Hill, and Öküz Mehmet Paşa Caravanserai. Additionally, our passengers can visit Kuşadası Bazaar to see iconic places, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy traditional Turkish cuisine.
Guests who want to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean should visit Venüs Beach in Güzelçamlı, Kuştur Beach, or Sevgi Beach. Our ship will depart from the port at 15:00.
