Day 1: Istanbul – Porto
Meeting at the Turkish Airlines counter in the international terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before departure. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Porto on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1449 at 06:45. Arriving at 09:45 local time, our Porto city tour begins with our vehicle waiting at the airport. Porto is the second largest city in the country, famous for its unique architecture, colorful houses, and narrow streets. During our city tour, our first stop will be Boavista, known as a modern trade and business center. Our next stop will be Queijo Castle located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. We will proceed towards Porto center along the riverbanks, passing through the old fishing village of Foz, where the Douro River meets the ocean. Our route will start from Carmo Square. We will walk past the historic bookstore Lello and Clerigos Church down to Aliados Square. We will see Bento Station, Sao Francisco Church, Stock Exchange Palace, Porto Cathedral, Liberdade Square, Batalha Square, the famous shopping street Santa Catarina, I. Luis Bridge, and Arrabida Bridge among the sights. Our tour will conclude with the exploration of the Ribeira district, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List and located along the Douro River. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Porto
After breakfast at the hotel, guests wishing to join can participate in the extra tour "Majestic Guimaraes & Bom Jesus do Monte & Braga" (65 Euros). Guimaraes is a historic city located in northern Portugal, considered one of the country’s most important cultural and historical centers. Known as the "birthplace of Portugal," Guimaraes has significant historical importance as the site where the Kingdom of Portugal was established in the 12th century. The city resembles an open-air museum with its narrow streets, stone buildings, and structures from the Middle Ages. In this beautiful city, which was chosen as the European Capital of Culture in 2012, we will take a walking tour focusing on the medieval castle, unique examples of Portuguese architecture, churches, magnificent gardens, and historic houses and streets. After this tour, we will head to Bom Jesus do Monte. Constructed in neoclassical style between 1784-1857 by Carlos Amarante, we will descend the maze-like stairs in front of the Bom Jesus Cathedral before heading to Braga. Known as the "Rome of Portugal" due to its Roman origins dating back 2000 years, Braga is one of the oldest settlements in the country. Its charming historic streets, colorful squares, and traditional buildings will transport you back in time as you explore. After this tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Day 3: Porto – Fatima – Obidos – Lisbon
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Lisbon. Our first stop en route is Fatima, one of the largest pilgrimage and worship centers in Christianity, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three young shepherds in 1917 and revealed three secrets. Next, we proceed to Obidos. Upon arrival in Obidos, you’ll feel as if you have traveled back in time centuries. Many residents of this small town still wear traditional costumes on certain days, recreating the historical atmosphere. During our delightful walking tour, we will explore the narrow streets, small churches, beautiful houses, and shops of this quaint town. After the tour, we will move on to Lisbon. Along the way, those interested can join the extra tour "Majestic Buddha Eden Garden" (40 Euros). Buddha Eden, inspired by Asian cultures, serves as a grand open-air art gallery welcoming thousands of tourists each year. The garden is filled with ancient Asian sculptures, large Buddhist figures, and many works reflecting traditional Chinese philosophy, alongside Japanese gardens, artificial ponds, and stunning vegetation. After our tour here, we will proceed to Lisbon. Lisbon, the capital and largest city of Portugal, is one of the oldest capitals in Europe. This historic city, located by the Atlantic Ocean, boasts impressive views, colorful neighborhoods, and rich cultural heritage. Our tour will first visit the church section of Jeronimos Monastery, followed by a stop at Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries along the Tagus River for photo opportunities. We will take a short walk through the Alfama district, the oldest neighborhood in the city, which suffered minimal damage in the 1755 earthquake and can only be explored on foot. We will then return to our vehicle, passing by Praça do Comercio, Baixa district, Rossio and Restauradores squares to reach Eduardo Park, which overlooks Marques de Pombal Square, for another photo break. After completing our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. In the evening, guests wishing to join can participate in the extra tour "Dinner Fado Night" (65 Euros). Fado is an emotional music genre that conveys the history, longing, loss, and nostalgia of the Portuguese people, allowing you to experience a piece of Portuguese spirit with a lovely meal and drink during this magnificent evening. Day 4: Lisbon
After breakfast at the hotel, guests wishing to join can participate in the extra tour "Glorious Lisbon Pearls (Sintra & Cascais & Estoril & Cabo de Roca)" (70 Euros). Sintra, located north of Lisbon, is a captivating town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its rich history and extraordinary nature. The most notable structure in Sintra is the Pena Palace, built in the 19th century. With its colorful and fairy-tale-like architecture, this palace has become a symbol of Sintra, easily visible from the hills of the town. After our tour here, we will step on Cabo de Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. We will progress along the coast, stopping at Guincho Cape, then to the "Boca de Inferno" cliff near Cascais. Afterward, we will head to Cascais, a charming seaside town on the Atlantic Ocean, exploring the fishing harbor before moving to the famous Casino area of Estoril. Estoril has historically become one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations in the early 20th century, especially favored by royal families and wealthy tourists. After our tour here, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Lisbon – Sevilla
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Sevilla. Sevilla is a city renowned for its historical and cultural wealth, located in the Andalusia region of Spain. Our city tour will start at Plaza de Espana, located in Maria Luisa Park, and Plaza America, as well as the Cathedral of Sevilla (exterior) which houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus, the third largest cathedral in the world. Next, we will see the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining piece of the mosque on which the cathedral was built, and the Alcazar, the palace of the Castilian kings (exterior). Later, we will pass through the Archives of the Indies, which kept records of all maritime expeditions to the Americas up until the 19th century, and reach the old narrow streets of the Santa Cruz quarter, known as "old" Sevilla. At the end of our walk, we will see the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower), which was used as a university center and is now a maritime museum. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Sevilla. In the evening, those interested can join the extra tour "Flamenco Fire Tour" (55 Euros). Sevilla is one of the birthplaces of flamenco, considered a significant center for flamenco culture in Spain. The city is known for traditional flamenco performances, dance studios, and flamenco festivals and events. You will be mesmerized as you watch flamenco dancers during our Flamenco night. Day 6: Sevilla – Ronda – Granada
After breakfast at the hotel, we move on to Granada. Along the way, those interested may participate in the extra tour "Glorious Town of Ronda" (35 Euros). Ronda is a famous mountain town in the Andalusia region of Spain, noted for its historic and natural beauties. The city is particularly known for its deep valley and the historic bridge, Puente Nuevo. This bridge, built in the 18th century, has become a symbol of Ronda, situated over the El Tajo Canyon that divides the city. Ronda also has a historic bullfighting arena, considered one of the oldest in the world. After our tour here, we proceed to Granada, a city in the heart of Andalusia filled with history and culture. Granada is famous for its historic heritage, music and dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. This city is one of Spain's leading tourist destinations, welcoming millions of visitors each year. During our city tour, we will see Gran Via Street, BibRambla and City Squares, Granada Cathedral (exterior), the city’s first university Madraza, the Silk Market and the old Nasrid Caravanserai. After the tour, those willing may join the extra tour "Glorious Alhambra Palace Tour" (70 Euros) (Note: The Alhambra Palace has a daily visitor limit, and the palace visit may take place depending on availability, except for the harem. It is requested that you indicate your participation in this tour to your agency when making your reservation.) The Alhambra Palace, one of Granada's greatest treasures, is one of the most stunning examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Alhambra is one of the most visited historical sites in Spain. This famous structure began construction in the 13th century on a plateau overlooking Sabika Hill and continued until the 15th century, notable for its red hue due to the red earth used in its construction. Day 7: Granada
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Those wishing to join can participate in the extra tour "Glorious Cordoba Tour" (55 Euros). A 1.5-hour journey will take us to Cordoba, where we will first be greeted by the Guadalquivir River. We will walk across the historic Roman bridge and enter the city through the Roman Gate. The most magnificent structure of this 2000-year-old city is the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, built on 850 columns, and we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent work with our guide while receiving impressive information. After our tour of the Cordoba Mosque, we will continue our walking tour, showcasing the clean old streets and the exquisite details of Andalusian architecture, including the old inn and houses of Cordoba. After our tour, we will return to Granada. In the evening, those interested can join the extra tour "Glorious Neighborhoods (Albaicin and Sacromonte Gypsy Neighborhood)" (45 Euros). Albaicin is a historic and enchanting neighborhood in Granada, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and scenic hills. It bears traces of Andalusian Islamic culture and architecture and reflects the history of Granada. After our tour here, we will watch a Gypsy show along with a beverage in fully handmade caves, observing their lifestyles. After the tour, we will return to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8: Granada – Malaga – Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Malaga. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Malaga, located in the south of Spain in the Costa del Sol region of Andalusia, is a city notable for its historical and cultural wealth. With its warm Mediterranean climate, Malaga is famous for its sunny weather year-round and beautiful beaches. During our city tour, we will visit significant sites such as Malaga Cathedral, botanical gardens, the city hall, and the harbor. Following the tour, we will head to Malaga airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1306 at 18:00. Arriving at 23:25 local time, our tour concludes.
