Day 1: ISTANBUL - VIENNA
At 07:00, meet our dear guests in front of the Southern Domestic Departure Terminal at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, in front of the Anadolu Jet Counters. After completing ticketing, baggage, and customs procedures, we depart for Vienna on the scheduled flight VF 017 of AJet Airways at 10:10. We arrive around 11:40 local time and will proceed with a panoramic city tour by bus, seeing highlights such as the opera house, university, parliament building, theater, Rathouse, Hofburg Palace and Museum District, St. Stephen’s Cathedral. After the city tour, there will be free time in the city center, then transfer to our hotel and check-in. Those who wish can participate in an optional Vienna Concert Tour (€60), which offers a chance to enjoy classical music concerts famous in Vienna. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: VIENNA – (Seegrotte – Mayerling – Baden – Schönbrunn Palace)
After breakfast at the hotel, you have the whole day free. Those who wish can join an extra tour to Seegrotte, Mayerling, and Baden (Viennese Woods) (€65). First, we visit Seegrotte, an old mine that produced some of the world’s fastest jet fighters during WWII, now home to Europe's largest underground lake, where a spectacular boat ride awaits. Then we pass through the northern extension of the Alps, the Wienerwald, toward Mayerling, visiting the Mayerling Hunting Lodge, site of a tragic event. The lodge is now a monastery housing Carmelites. The final stop is the charming spa town of Baden, inspired Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, where free time is provided. Afterwards, we visit Schönbrunn Palace, Queen Sisi’s summer residence, and enjoy free time in its magnificent gardens. At the end of the day, return to our hotel. Those interested can join an optional evening at Grinzing taverns (€60), enjoying dinner to traditional music, with local wines, in a rustic tavern setting. Then, return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 3: VIENNA – CESKY KRUMLOV – PRAGUE
After breakfast, depart for Prague. Stop optional at Cesky Krumlov (€40), a medieval town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Once neglected during communism, it has experienced a revival since the 1990s. The town impresses visitors with its charm. After the tour, continue to Prague. Upon arrival, do a city tour including Old Town, Franz Kafka’s Museum and Garden, Little Quarter, Charles Bridge (built under King Charles IV with 30 statues), Old Town Square, Hradcany Castle District, Presidential Palace, St. Vitus Cathedral (a neo-Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque masterpiece built over 600 years), Astronomical Clock (built in the 15th century with 12 Apostles), and Týn Church. Afterwards, transfer to the hotel and overnight.
Day 4: PRAGUE (Karlovy Vary)
After breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure. Optional tour to Karlovy Vary (€60), known for its thermal springs and spa resorts, where the temperature varies from 30-72°C across 12 mineral springs. See Atatürk’s hotel where he stayed in 1918, homes of Mozart, Goethe, Beethoven, and Pushkin, and explore thermal galleries. You will have shopping opportunities for crystals, porcelain, garnets, amber, and other Czech souvenirs. The evening offers an optional Czech Night (€80), featuring traditional Czech folk dance, music, and dinner in a rustic Koliba restaurant, with local music and hearty Czech dishes, including honey brandy (medovina).
Day 5: PRAGUE (Dresden – Vltava)
After breakfast, free day. Optional full-day tour to Dresden (€70), the “Florence of the Elbe,” with its baroque architecture, Frauenkirche, Zwinger Palace, Brühl Terrace, Royal Route, Elbe River, Martin Luther Monument, Hofkirche, Semper Opera, and Old Town Square. Alternatively, enjoy a boat cruise on the Vltava River (€70), with dinner included, to experience Prague’s illuminated skyline reflected on the river’s surface. Return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 6: PRAGUE – BRATISLAVA – BUDAPEST
After breakfast, transfer to Budapest. Stop optional at Bratislava (€40), Slovakia’s capital on the Danube, where the borders of Austria and Hungary meet. Visit the Bratislava Castle, St. Martin’s Cathedral, the old town with its lively streets, Grassalkovich Palace, Parliament, and historic buildings. Continue to Budapest, a city under Ottoman influence for about 150 years. During the city tour, see Heroes’ Square, Andrassy and Rakoczi Streets, Opera House, the Parliament (built between 1884-1904 with 700 rooms), Danube promenade, Erzsébet Bridge, Fisherman’s Bastion, Chain Bridge, Buda Castle, and Matthias Church. In the evening, optional Rhine River cruise (€35) available; enjoy spectacular views of the illuminated city from the Danube.
Day 7: BUDAPEST (Esterhazy Palace – Visegrad – Szentendre)
After breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure or join optional tours. Optional day trip to Esztergom, Visegrad, and Szentendre (€70). Visit Esztergom Cathedral and remnants of Ottoman castle, then see the medieval Visegrad fortress. Continue to Szentendre, a quaint town famous for its arts, handicrafts, crystal, porcelain, souvenirs, and local drinks. Return to Budapest. For an entertainment evening, join an optional Hungarian Night (€65), featuring traditional costumes, folk dances, live orchestra, and authentic Hungarian cuisine, with vibrant music and lively dances in a local restaurant.
Day 8: BUDAPEST – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Budapest Airport. Complete check-in procedures and board flight VF 110 of AJet Airways at 16:15. Arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 19:15, ending our tour. Welcome home!
