Meet 3 hours before departure at Istanbul Airport's international departures terminal in front of the Turkish Airlines counter. After baggage and ticket procedures, flight TK 617 operated by Turkish Airlines departs for Casablanca at 12:00. Upon arrival in Casablanca at 14:55 local time, transfer to our vehicle and head to Marrakech. After arriving in Marrakech, we start exploring the city, whose narrow streets will take you back centuries. The name Marrakech, derived from the Berber words meaning "Land of God" (mur akush), the indigenous people of North Africa, reflects its rich history. Marrakech is also known as the "Red City" due to its vivid red walls. During our city tour, we will see Bahia Palace, which offers a wonderful glimpse into 19th-century aristocratic life, the minaret of Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Gardens, home to a plant collection from around the world, and the bustling Djemaa El Fna square, called the “Square of Souks and Miracles”. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and enjoy some free time. We will have dinner at the hotel, and guests may optionally join the Chez Ali’s Spectacular Night Show (Dinner Included) for an extra 70 Euro. At Chez Ali, reminiscent of the One Thousand and One Nights tales, enjoy shows featuring Arabian horses, acrobatic riders, and traditional music and dance while dining. After the show, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Marrakech – Essaouira – MarrakechAfter breakfast at the hotel, guests may join an extra tour to UNESCO World Heritage Site, Majestic Essaouira (80 Euro). With its ancient history dating back to prehistoric times, Essaouira is a coastal town located on the Atlantic Ocean, known for its white medina walls, narrow streets, and traditional markets. The UNESCO-listed medina, a fishing port, is also a hub of arts and culture, offering a tranquil seaside atmosphere that has attracted artists like Cat Stevens, Jimi Hendrix, and Orson Welles over the years. The town has also served as a filming location for the famous Game of Thrones series. During the tour, we will see the walls and ramparts of Essaouira, the Essaouira Castle, the fish market at the port, and the historic medina. The city’s blend of traditional Moroccan architecture and modern life offers great shopping opportunities. After the tour, we return to our hotel in Marrakech for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Marrakech – CasablancaAfter breakfast at the hotel, guests may enjoy some free time. They can also join an optional tour of Bahia Palace, Majorelle Gardens, and the Marrakech Medina Market (80 Euro). The tour includes Bahia Palace, which offers a great insight into 19th-century aristocratic life, the beautiful Majorelle Gardens with plants from around the world, and the Marrakech Medina. Afterwards, we head towards Casablanca. Upon arrival, we begin a city tour. Casablanca, famous for the 1942 Hollywood film bearing its name, is Morocco’s largest port, economic center, and most populous city. We will see the Hassan II Mosque from outside, which has the world’s second-longest minaret, the Hassan II Square, the United Nations Square, and the Royal Palace of Casablanca. We will also visit the Old Medina with open-air markets, the seafront Corniche, and Ain Diab beaches. After the tour, transfer to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes – MeknesAfter breakfast, we depart for the majestic capital Rabat. Upon arrival, a panoramic city tour includes the Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum built in honor of the grandfather of the current king and symbol of Moroccan independence, and the Royal Palace. Later, we head towards Meknes. Situated between the plains and the Atlas Mountains, Meknes has been a crossroads of trade and culture since ancient times. Known as the “Yard of Minarets,” it has many notable structures including Bab Mansour, the grand gate of Meknes, the Agdal Basin constructed by Sultan Moulay Ismail, Lahdim Square, and Dar El Makhzen (Royal Palace). After the tour, we continue to Fes, which derives its name from the city itself—the Name Fes comes from the city’s name. Built around the Fez River and surrounded by walls, Fes is called “Mecca of the West”. The city’s Medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s largest and oldest pedestrian zones. During our Old Medina tour, we will visit the MEDERSA Bou Inania, Al Attarine, the Andalusian Mosque, the Karaouine University, Nejjarine Square, and artisans’ souks. We will also see the tanneries, which have used traditional techniques since the Middle Ages. Afterwards, transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 Meknes – TétouanAfter breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Tétouan. Guests may join an optional tour of the White City of Chefchaouen (60 Euro). Nestled in the Rif Mountains of northwest Morocco, Chefchaouen is famous for its blue-painted buildings, earning it the nickname “Blue City”. Wander through its narrow streets, explore local markets, artisanal shops, and enjoy its unique atmosphere. The town’s traditional Berber culture and friendly locals provide a warm welcome. The Bluish-hued landscape and natural beauty make Chefchaouen one of Morocco’s most striking and memorable destinations. After the tour, continuing to Tétouan. Upon arrival, we will start a city tour. Tétouan, situated on the Mediterranean coast, is known for its well-preserved medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city displays a captivating blend of Andalusian and Moroccan architecture, with whitewashed buildings and narrow alleyways. Explore the historic medina, visit the Royal Palace, and enjoy the local markets. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 Tétouan – Gibraltar – Tarifa – SevilleAfter breakfast, we take a ferry to cross into Spain. After approximately 2 hours of travel, we head to Seville. Seville, the capital of Andalusia, is famous for its rich history and culture. Situated along the Guadalquivir River, the city offers a wealth of sights including Plaza de España, Maria Luisa Park, Plaza de América, the tomb of Christopher Columbus (outside), Seville Cathedral (exterior), the Giralda Minaret, Alcázar Palace (exterior), and the narrow old streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood. We will also see the Torre del Oro, a historic fortress and the site of the old tobacco warehouse. Guests may optionally join an optional Flamenco Fire Show (60 Euro). Sevilla is one of the birthplaces of flamenco music and dance, renowned for its performances, dance studios, festivals, and events. Enjoy an evening of flamenco dancing and traditional performances before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7 Seville – Ronda – GranadaAfter breakfast, guests can choose to join an optional tour of the magnificent town of Ronda (70 Euro). Ronda, located in the historic Andalusian region, is famous for its dramatic landscapes and the Puente Nuevo bridge spanning the El Tajo Gorge. This 18th-century bridge is a symbol of the city and divides it into two parts. Ronda also hosts one of the oldest bullrings in Spain. After the tour, we travel to Granada. Granada, in the heart of Andalusia, is renowned for its historical heritage, music, dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. During the city tour, we will see Gran Via, Bib-Rambla Square, the Cathedral (exterior), Granada University, the Silk Market, and the ancient Nasri Caravansarai. Guests may also join an optional tour of the charming neighborhoods of Albaicin and Sacromonte (55 Euro), UNESCO World Heritage sites, known for their narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and vibrant gypsy culture. Day 8 Granada – Córdoba – GranadaAfter breakfast, guests may join an optional tour of the magnificent Alhambra Palace (80 Euro). Note that the Alhambra has daily visitor limits and tours may exclude the harem depending on availability, so please inform your agent at reservation. The Alhambra is one of Granada’s most prominent treasures and a superb example of Islamic architecture. This UNESCO World Heritage site was built in the 13th century atop the Sabika Hill and took nearly two centuries to complete. Known as “The Red Fortress” due to its reddish walls, it’s one of the most visited historic sites in Spain. After the Alhambra tour, those interested can join an optional tour to Córdoba (75 Euro). Córdoba, in the Andalusian region, is famous for its rich history and stunning architecture, especially the Mezquita, a massive mosque with 850 columns, once one of the most magnificent Islamic structures in the world. The tour begins with a walk along the Roman bridge over the Guadalquivir River into the historic city center, visiting the Great Mosque, the Jewish Quarter, the Alcázar, and the noble streets of Córdoba. Return to Granada for overnight stay.
Day 9 Granada – Málaga – IstanbulAfter breakfast and check-out, we depart for Málaga. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour including Paseo del Parque, Plaza de la Merced, the Jewish Quarter, the Constitution Square, Larios Street, the port area of Puerto Marina, Alcazaba Fortress, and the Gibralfaro Castle. After the tour, at the specified time, transfer to Málaga airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, Turkish Airlines flight TK 1306 departs at 18:25 to Istanbul. Arrive at Istanbul Airport at 23:40 local time, marking the end of our tour.
