1st Day Istanbul- Baku

2nd Day Baku Ateshgah- Absheron- Heydar Aliyev Center
Time 03:05 Arrival in Baku and transfer to the hotel. Check-in to the rooms. Following breakfast, we will start our tour a bit late to relax from your tiredness. After breakfast, we begin our day with a visit to Ateshgah (the Fire Temple). This religious structure, one of the three Zoroastrian temples that have survived to this day and the most important of them, was first built in the 3rd century AD. It became famous worldwide with its eternally burning fire, especially during the active period of the Silk Road, and was rebuilt in the 17th century by Zoroastrian pilgrims who came to the region. After our visit here, we go to Abseron Fire Mountain to watch the swirling dance of flames. Afterwards, we continue our tour with a visit to the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, designed by the Iraqi-born British futurist architect Zaha Hadid and covering a massive area of 101 thousand square meters. This complex, representing the rise of the Caspian Sea in Azeri mythology, consists of theatres and conference halls, a museum, and art galleries. (IMPORTANT NOTE: On some days, the cultural center does not accept visitors. As these days and hours are announced in advance, our company cannot be held responsible for this situation. If it is open, we will enter; otherwise, it will be seen from outside.) After free time, transfer back to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
3rd Day Baku (Dinner with an Azerbaijani Night)
After breakfast, we depart from our hotel for a Full Day Baku City Tour. With numerous investments made in recent years, a modern appearance has been added to the traditional and historical features of Baku. In this comprehensive tour where you will see and get to know the most important areas of New and Old Baku, we first travel to Yayla Park via the Martyrs’ Lane. Here, you can capture panoramic views of the city of Baku and Baku Bay and take plenty of photos. Then, we proceed to the Old City, also known as İçeri Şehir, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In this part of our tour, you will see and learn about the historical and traditional features of Baku. The Maiden Tower, built in the 12th century, the Juma Mosque from the 15th century, the Historic Siniggala Minaret and the Mohammed Mosque, the world’s only Miniature Book Museum, the Shirvanshahs’ Palace, considered one of Azerbaijan's architectural jewels, the Ismail Palace, which currently serves as the Academy of Science, the city’s heart Istiklal Street, the Fountain Square named after the historic fountain located here, the Philharmonic Fountain, and the famous National Carpet and Rug Museum with its valuable handicrafts are among the places we will see. Afterwards, we head to Baku Boulevard, which represents the modern face of the city with many futuristic architectural works including the globally renowned Flame Towers. This area consists of a pedestrian path parallel to the coastal area also known as "Little Venice," where oil barons built their mansions a century ago. At the end of our tour, we will go to a local venue for Dinner with Folkloric Azerbaijani Night. At one of the city's historical venues, we will enjoy traditional Mugham music along with local delicacies. After this lovely evening, we will transfer back to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
4th Day Baku- Shamakhi- Gabala- Sheki
After breakfast and room check-out, we set off towards Shamakhi (approximately 125 km). This city, known from the Shamakhi Siege in the Ottoman-Safavid War, is also one of the most important places in the Caucasus known for its winemaking and carpet weaving. We will see the old town center, the Yeddi Gumbez (Seven Domes) which hosts the Shirvan Khan Tombs at the foot of the Gulistan Fortress, and the Friday Mosque. Afterwards, we set off towards Gabala, known for its natural beauty (approximately 95 km). Accompanied by the unique views of the Nature National Park, we will take some free time by Nohur Lake, where Gabala, with its mountains, forests, and waterfalls, will refresh your energy. After our pleasant break, we will continue our journey to our final destination of the day, Sheki (approximately 90 km). Upon arrival, we will explore Sheki, known as one of the oldest, most authentic, and beautiful cities of Azerbaijan. Sheki, a classical mountain town, is known for its gentle people and their unique culture and cuisine. We will visit the Upper and Lower Sheki Caravanserais, parts of which are currently used as hotels, historical stone and wooden buildings spread across narrow cobbled streets, the magnificent Han Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site from the Persian era, the Sheki Fortress, which includes the Sheki Handicrafts Studio, Ethnography Museum, Art Gallery, and Art House, and the important religious structures of the city, the Khan and Friday Mosques, among others. During our free time in the bazaar, you can taste the famous Azerbaijani Tea along with Sheki Halva and purchase many handicrafts including the world’s most beautiful silk products. At the end of our tour, we will transfer to our hotel and check into our rooms. Accommodation at our hotel.
5th Day Sheki- Bodbe Monastery- Sighnaghi- Tbilisi
After breakfast and room check-out, we move towards the Azerbaijan/Georgia Border (approximately 90 km). As per regulations, vehicle change will occur at the border. After necessary procedures, we continue our journey towards Bodbe Monastery, one of the most important religious temples in Georgia, known for its architecture and surrounding nature (approximately 60 km). After our visit here, we proceed towards "The City of Love," Sighnaghi (approximately 15 km). This beautiful place, known for its natural beauties and restored charming stone buildings, is a full tourist attraction. During our tour here, we will see the Sighnaghi Fortress, known as the "Georgian Wall" with its walls that exceed 4 km in length, St. George Church, and the well-kept historic buildings of the city center. We will also see the "Doctor on Donkey" Statue, erected in memory of a village doctor who was beloved for bringing help to many inhabitants. During our city tour, we will ride special electric vehicles and have photo stops at Kakheti Panorama Point, Signagi Panorama Point, and St. George Tower, while enjoying a walk with extraordinary views offered by the city walls. During our free time, guests can freely wander, shop, and have their lunch in this charming town. Afterwards, we set off towards Tbilisi (approximately 10 km). Upon arrival, we will check into our rooms at the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
6th Day Tbilisi (Dinner with Caucasian Night)
After breakfast, we start our Full Day Tbilisi Tour. In this beautiful city that always surprises its visitors, we will see, first of all, Narikala Fortress, Bridge of Peace, Rike Park, Meidan, Ethnography Museum, Agmashenebeli Boulevard, City Hall, Rustaveli National Theater, Viceroy Palace, National Bank of Georgia, Mtatsminda Hill, Mother Georgia Monument, Freedom Square which is the main square of the city, Parliament Building, Archaeological Museum which houses many historical treasures, Museum of Fine Arts with over 3500 pieces, and a replica of Samtavisi Cathedral built in the 11th century, the National Museum of Georgia, the Opera and Ballet Theatre which hosts important shows, MoMa Museum famous for its sculptures and temporary exhibitions, and the Historical Books Museum known for its old books and manuscripts. We will also see the Fine Arts Academy famous for its Mirror Hall, the Sameba Holy Trinity Cathedral, the largest religious structure in present-day Georgia visible from almost every part of Tbilisi, the statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, known as the "Rider King," at Metekhi Hill, and the historical Abanotubani Sulfur Baths. Finally, after descending down the famous Turning Staircase and crossing the Wooden Bridge of Love, we will have free time in the underground shopping center in the heart of the city. Afterwards, we will head to a venue where you can also watch breathtaking Georgian folklore performances, where you will be served a menu consisting of Georgian delicacies. At the end of this wonderful day, we will transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
7th Day Tbilisi- Chronology Monument- Gori- Uplistsikhe- Jvari- Mtskheta- Tbilisi
After breakfast, we give you some free time to relax. At the time set by our guide, check out from the rooms and proceed. With a short drive, we will go to the Georgian Chronology Monument (approximately 15 km). Located on the Keeni Hill, this monument started construction in 1985 but is never completed due to the continuous addition of recent significant events, making it a rare piece of art in the world.
Then we will continue to Gori (approximately 85 km). Upon arrival, we will visit the Stalin Museum, which showcases many items and photographs related to the Georgian-born leader who managed to transform the Soviet Union into an industrial and military giant. Afterwards, during our free time in Gori, you can explore this charming city at leisure. Next, we will head to Uplistsikhe (approximately 15 km), famous for its houses carved into caves, reminiscent of Cappadocia. Our next stop in the tour is Jvari (approximately 65 km), built in the 6th century on a hill that overlooks the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura Rivers, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The monastery is one of Georgia's most important historical and religious treasures, renowned for its architectural beauty and breathtaking views. After our visit here, we will proceed to Mtskheta, the previous capital of Georgia (also known as ‘UNESCO City’) (approximately 20 km). In this historic city, one of the oldest settlements in the world, we will see the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, considered one of the holiest religious temples in Georgia. During our free time, you can complete your shopping for the world-famous Georgian wines and other souvenirs and explore the fairytale-like city at your leisure. Before transferring to the airport, we recommend having dinner at one of the pleasant restaurants in the area. At the appointed time set by our guide, we will transfer to Tbilisi Airport (approximately 50 km).
8th Day Tbilisi- Istanbul
