1. DAY ISTANBUL – MADRID
Meeting with our esteemed guests in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at Sabiha Gökçen Airport's International Departures terminal 3 hours before the flight time. After baggage and ticket procedures, flight to Madrid with Pegasus Airlines' scheduled flight. After our tour, we continue our journey towards Madrid. We start our Panoramic Madrid city tour at the main square known as Plaza Mayor. This square has 136 buildings and 437 balconies opening to the courtyard. In the past, bullfights and executions by the Inquisition were witnessed from these balconies. Highlights of the city include Puerta Del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the public speaking area Plaza De Orient of the Royal Palace, Alcala Gate built as the entrance to showcase the city’s wealth, Gran Via with its arched roofs, Plaza Colon, Cibeles Square and Fountain, and the Cervantes Monument. After the tour, we return to the hotel for accommodation.
2. DAY MADRID
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can optionally participate in the Toledo Tour (80 Euro), which will be organized. Toledo is a true open-air museum and the former capital of Spain, recognized as one of the most important cities on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is home to the country's most majestic cathedral and competes with world-class museums, hosting works by world-renowned painters. Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has managed to remain unchanged since the 16th century. The architecture shows traces of Roman, Visigoth, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance influences, with narrow streets, El Greco's paintings, typical pastry shops, and of course, the famous cathedral make it a tourist pilgrimage site. Another tradition from Toledo is the manufacture of marzipan, which dates back to when the Arabs conquered the city. A visit to Toledo is incomplete without tasting this mouth-watering confection. After our walk in the Jewish quarter, we move back to Madrid. Accommodation at our hotel.
3. DAY MADRID – BARCELONA
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Barcelona by our private bus. Guests who wish can optionally participate in the Zaragoza Tour (35 Euro) organized by our guide along the route. In this tour, we will see the Ebro River, the city’s main cathedral, Pilar Cathedral, La Seo Cathedral, San Pablo Church, Plaza Espana, and Pilar Bridge. After the tour, we continue our journey. Upon arrival, a panoramic city tour of Barcelona. Barcelona, the capital of the Catalonia Autonomous Community and the second largest city in Spain, attracts four times as many tourists as its population due to its remarkable architecture and the magnificent works of famous architect Antoni Gaudi. Sagrada Familia, known as the “Endless Church,” the Plaça de Catalunya, Gaudi's Houses (Casa Batllo and Casa Mila), Plaça de Catalunya, La Rambla Street, and Port Olímpic will be among the sights to be seen. After the city tour, transfer to the hotel. In the evening, guests who wish can join the Barcelona Night & Gothic Quarter Tour (35 Euro), organized by our guide. In this tour, we will have the opportunity to see Barcelona, known as the city that never sleeps, in its illuminated state. After that, we head to the Gothic Quarter, where we will visit the Barcelona Cathedral, the Temple of Augustus, and the region's most famous street, Carrer del Bisbe, followed by free time for dinner. Then we will transfer back to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
4. DAY BARCELONA
After breakfast in the morning, guests who wish can optionally join a Girona & Figueras & Mercat de la Boqueria Tour (95 Euro) organized by our guide. We start our tour at Girona, a charming medieval city that reminds one of Florence, located on the banks of the Onyar River and known as the richest town in the region. We will see the Lion statue, Cathedral Square, houses with mezuzahs, the Jewish Quarter, Rambla, and famous shops. After some free time, we move towards the town of Figueras, surrounded by the scenery of the Pyrenees Mountains. The town has an impressive ambiance that inspired the world-renowned boundary-less painter, Salvador Dali, throughout his life. We will visit the museum that was decorated by the famous surrealist painter Salvador Dali himself, where each of his works is valued in millions of dollars, showcasing his timeless love, Gala, and challenging creations. After our visit to the museum, we will have free time before heading to the city center towards La Rambla Street. Our next stop is the market known as Mercat de la Boqueria, located on the most touristic street in Barcelona, La Rambla. Considered the most famous shopping spot in Spain, “mercat,” meaning “market,” is one of the most unique places to experience shopping culture and see the local customs. We will allow free time here. In the evening, guests who want to spend a fun evening can join the organized Flamenco Night (65 Euro) for a memorable experience. Accommodation at our hotel.
5. DAY BARCELONA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, transfer to Barcelona Airport based on the flight time. After completing luggage and check-in procedures, flight to Istanbul with Pegasus Airlines' scheduled flight. Arrival in Istanbul and end of our tour.
