CRETE ISLAND TOUR - (3 NIGHTS - 4 DAYS) - 2026
Meeting at the Aegean Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal at 13:00. After passport, check-in, and luggage procedures, departure to Heraklion at 16:25 with Aegean Air Flight A3435. Arrival in Heraklion at 17:55 local time. Transfer to our hotel with our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport. After checking into the hotel and settling into the rooms, free time. You can enjoy the hotel facilities all day and have fun by the sea. After dinner, those guests who wish can join the "Greek Night Tour" organized by our guide for an extra fee. This special evening is an opportunity to experience Crete's vibrant culture and energy. At this event we will organize in the hotel, you will have joyful moments with live Greek music and dances. Additionally, one drink of your choice will be offered to you. After the Greek Night entertainment, return to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 02: HERAKLION
After breakfast, guests have free time for personal activities and shopping. Those guests who wish can join the "Heraklion City Tour & Knossos & Archanes Village Tour" organized by our guide for an extra fee. After breakfast, we meet with our guide and start our tour. We set off for the Heraklion City Tour. Upon arriving in Heraklion, we start our tour from Plateia Elefterias, discovering the rich history and culture of Crete. Notable stops on this tour will include the Agios Titos Church, the grandeur of Agios Minas Cathedral, and the historical texture of the Ottoman Bon Marche Building. These special sites we visit are among the important structures reflecting Crete's rich cultural fabric. After visiting the Valide Sultan Mosque Fountain, the Evkaf Building, which reflects Crete's historical significance, we will visit the Venetian Loggias, one of the notable structures from the Venetian period in Crete, presenting us with the Venetian influences. Perhaps one of the most impressive moments of this tour will be the Venetian Port and its shipyards. After the city tour, we will have free time to taste local delicacies and relax. Then we will head towards the Knossos Ancient City. This tour is designed for you to explore Crete's ancient and traditional face. We will visit the Palace of Knossos and the historic Archanes Village. The Palace of Knossos is a magical structure built in 2000 BC, the capital of the Minos Kingdom. After our palace visit, we will set off for the Archanes Village. This charming Crete village is known for its streets and houses that still preserve the traditional lifestyle. By experiencing the Cretan culture and way of life on site, you will gain a better understanding of the island's spirit. After free time, we return to our hotel.
DAY 03: HERAKLION
After breakfast, guests have free time for personal activities and shopping. Those guests who wish can join the "Rethymno & Chania Tour" organized by our guide for an extra fee. After breakfast, we will start our tour, moving towards Rethymno, where you will witness the mesmerizing beauties of Crete. Rethymno is like an open-air museum carrying the traces of the Venetian and Turkish periods. When you arrive at Rethymno, you will travel through streets intertwined with history. During our explorations in Rethymno, we will see the Venetian Fortress, Ibrahim Agha Mosque, Venetian Fountain, Neratzes Mosque, and the old Ottoman School among the places we will visit in Rethymno. After our discoveries in Rethymno, we will turn our route towards Chania, which hosts unique beauties of Crete. While heading towards Chania via Souda Bay, you will enjoy a pleasant journey with magnificent views. In our Chania city tour, we will explore the Venetian Shipyard, Lighthouse, Hünkar Mosque, Agios Nikolaos Church, and the Kastelli Muslim Quarter. Towards the end of our tour, you will have the opportunity to shop at the Covered Market. After the tour, return to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 04: HERAKLION – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and have free time for personal activities and shopping until the transfer time set by the guide. Those guests who wish can join the "Jumbo Shopping Tour" organized by our guide for an extra fee. We will spend our last day visiting the Jumbo Store, which is the most popular in Greece and known for its economical prices offering a variety of options from toys to household items. After the tour, transfer to the airport. After passport and check-in procedures, departure to Athens at 15:00 with Aegean Airlines Flight A3 315. Arrival in Athens at 15:50. Departure from Athens to Istanbul at 18:25 with Flight A3 994. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 19:55 local time and the end of our tour.
