1st Day: İzmir – Stuttgart – Strasbourg
At 3 hours before the flight, we meet in front of the SunExpress Airlines check-in counter at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport international departure terminal. After checking in our luggage, ticket, and passport, we depart to Stuttgart at 04:10 via SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 962. We arrive in Stuttgart at 06:15 local time and then proceed to Strasbourg with our vehicle waiting at the airport. As you explore Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the jewel of the Alsace region, you will feel as though you are making a journey through history in Europe’s largest cobbled medieval quarters. Strasbourg, which bears historic significance as the place where the French National Anthem "La Marseillaise" was written, emerges as a city where Alsace culture and French architecture blend. During our city tour, we will visit Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district adorned with traditional Alsace houses. After the tour, guests can optionally participate in the extra Grand Alsace Fairy Tale Villages (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) tour (100 Euro). We will want to take photos at every opportunity during the tour, and our first visit will be to Eguisheim. Recognized as the "Favorite French Village" in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature dance together, reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region with its colorful houses, which create the postcard view of Equesheim. Following our tour, we will head to Colmar, known for its well-preserved medieval buildings, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. While strolling through the streets of Colmar, which were built entirely of pink stones, we will see sights including St. Martin Cathedral, Little Venice reminiscent of Venice, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building adorned with faces. Our third stop will be Kaysersberg, a charming medieval town in the Alsace region, famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical character. The 13th-century Château de Kaysersberg castle is one of the notable symbols of the town. The Sainte-Croix Church, located in the center of the city, draws attention with its Gothic architecture. After our tour, we will proceed to Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting towns of Alsace, known for its half-timbered houses that add appeal to the town. This historic village, adorned with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and surrounded by medieval walls, captivates its visitors. During our tour, we will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the old walls of the village to feel the medieval atmosphere. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. Overnight stay at our hotel in Strasbourg or its surroundings.
2nd Day: Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden Baden – Strasbourg
After breakfast at the hotel, we will have free time. Guests may optionally join the extra Magnificent Germany Duo (Baden Baden & Heidelberg) tour (85 Euro). Our first stop will be Baden Baden, an oxygen haven interwoven with nature, a culture and arts center, with its hot springs and even Europe’s most famous casino among its numerous offerings. After exploring Baden Baden, we will move to another magnificent city in Germany, Heidelberg. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city will take you on a journey through the Middle Ages at every corner. Heidelberg, a serene, elegant, and refined city, will greet you with a harmony of architecture and colors. During our city tour here, the sights will include Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight in Strasbourg or its surroundings.
3rd Day: Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg
After breakfast at the hotel, we will have free time. Guests can participate in the extra Magnificent Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne) tour (110 Euro). Our first stop will be the natural wonder of Rhine Falls, which has a width of 150 meters and height of 23 meters, holding the title of Europe's largest waterfall. This place, embraced by the powerful tributaries of the Rhine River, is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of azure waters. After our mesmerizing walk amidst the power of water and its impressive scenery, our second destination is Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland, which hosts millions of visitors each year with its historical center, stunning Gothic churches, and historical buildings. We will visit the Grossmünster and Fraumünster churches and Europe’s largest clock tower, St. Peterskirche. After exploring Bahnhofstrasse, recognized as the shopping center of the city, we will head to Lucerne, a historical city located at the foot of the Alps in central Switzerland. Here, we will see the Lion Monument, dedicated to the Swiss soldiers who sacrificed their lives while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne before concluding our tour and transferring to our hotel. Overnight in Strasbourg or its surroundings.
4th Day: Strasbourg – Basel – İzmir
After breakfast, we will check out of the rooms and set off for Basel. Upon arrival in Basel, our city tour begins. As the third most populous city in Switzerland after Zurich and Geneva, Basel hosts many treasures despite its small area, blending modern and historical elements. During our city tour, we will see sights including Basel Cathedral, where the famous Renaissance writer Dutch Erasmus is buried, the main square Marktplatz, the Government Building, and Hotel Les Trois Rois. After the tour, we will head to the airport at the time indicated by our guide. After completing the luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart to İzmir at 15:15 via SunExpress Airlines flight XQ913. We arrive at 19:10 local time, concluding our tour.
