Day 1 Ankara – Madrid
At the Istanbul Esenboğa Airport International Departure Terminal in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter, meet 3 hours prior to departure. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart to Madrid with Pegasus Airlines flight VF 607 at 07:50. Upon arrival at 10:25 local time, our vehicle will be waiting for us at the airport to start our panoramic city tour. Madrid, the capital of Spain, is among the most visited cities due to its rich historical and cultural heritage. On our city tour here, we will see the Bullfighting Arena (from outside), Alcala Gate and Independence Square, Cybele Monument, the famous Gran Via street, Bernabeu Stadium, Plaza Castilla, Atocha Train Station, the famous Prado Museum (from outside), Plaza de España with the statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, the Royal Palace (from outside), Plaza Mayor with 9 gates, and Sol Square. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Madrid – Toledo – Seville – Ecija
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Seville Province, specifically Seville. Guests wishing can join an *extra* *Magnificent Toledo Tour* (70 Euros). Toledo, located about 70 km from Madrid, is a UNESCO-protected historic city that has hosted various cultures including Roman, Visigoth, Muslim, and Christian. Renowned for its magnificent medieval architecture and cultural heritage, it is a living open-air museum. During our city tour, we will walk through narrow historic streets, see the Toledo Cathedral (from outside), converted Andalusian mosques turned into churches, and many other wonders. Our next destination is Seville, the capital of Andalucia. Seville is famous for its historical and cultural richness, located on the shores of the Guadalquivir River. Our city tour includes Plaza de España at Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, the tomb of Cristof Columbus, the Seville Cathedral (from outside) – the third largest in the world, the Hira Dome which is a remaining piece from the mosque built on the site of the cathedral, Alcazar Palace (from outside), and the Old Town of Santa Cruz, known as "Old" Seville. We will pass through the Arab Archives, which records all maritime expeditions to America until the 19th century. After walking through these historic streets, see the Torre del Oro, an old tobacco factory now used as the Sea Museum, then proceed to Ecija. Upon arrival, the city tour begins. Ecija, a historic city in southern Spain, in Andalucia, is also called the "Peacock of Andalucia" or "City of Towers". Known for its rich Baroque architecture and majestic historical buildings, it was called "Astigi" in Roman times and was an important center of the Hispania Ulterior province. During the Emevî period, it was also a significant cultural and economic hub. Today, strolling through Ecija’s streets, you will feel a historic atmosphere filled with Baroque palaces, churches, and high bell towers. Particularly examples from the 18th century include Santa María and San Juan churches. For those interested in history, art, and Andalusian architecture, Ecija is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. You can find traces of both Roman and Islamic periods in its narrow streets. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Ecija – Córdoba – Mijas – Málaga – Ecija
After breakfast at the hotel, those wishing can join an *extra* *Magnificent Cities Tour (Córdoba & Mijas & Malaga)* (140 Euros). Córdoba is a historic city in the Andalusian region with rich cultural heritage, impressive architecture, and remnants of Islamic Andalusian culture. In about 1.5 hours, we will reach Córdoba, passing the Guadalquivir River. We will walk across the historic Roman bridge, enter through the Roman Gate into the city. We will visit the stunning Mezquita of Córdoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, built over 850 columns, and learn about its magnificent history. After the mosque tour, we will walk through the historic streets and see the old han (inn) and traditional houses reflecting Andalusian architecture. Our next stop is Mijas, an adorable and traditional mountain village located in Málaga Province, known for its whitewashed houses. Situated near the Costa del Sol coast, Mijas offers both sea views and historical charm. The old town features narrow streets, decorated balconies with flowers, and typical Andalusian white buildings. Its roots go back to Roman and Phoenician times, but its current character was shaped during the Islamic period. Highlights include the small bullring on the hill and the remains of Mijas Castle. Afterward, our last stop is Málaga, birthplace of Picasso. We will see Paseo de Parque, Plaza de la Merced, the Jewish Quarter, Congress Square, Larios Street, the Port of Málaga, Alcazaba Fortress, and Gibralfaro Castle. After the tour, transfer back to Ecija. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 Ecija – Granada
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Granada. Upon arrival in Granada, our city tour begins. Granada, located in the heart of Andalucia, is a city full of history and culture. Known for its historical legacy, music, dance, breathtaking scenery, and the Alhambra Palace, it is one of Spain’s top tourist destinations, attracting millions annually. On our city tour, we will see Gran Via Street, BibRambla, Town Hall Square, Granada Cathedral (from outside), Madraza University, the Silk Market, and the Nasrid Caravansary. Those wishing can join an *extra* *Magnificent Alhambra Palace Tour*. (80 Euros). The Alhambra Palace, a stunning example of Iberian Islamic architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site, was built between the 13th and 15th centuries on Sabika Hill overlooking Granada. It is famous for its red brick appearance and intricate design, earning it the name “Red Fortress.” After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Those interested can also join an *extra* *Magnificent Neighborhoods Tour (Albaicín and Sacromonte Gypsy Neighborhoods)* (60 Euros). Albaicín, a stunning historic neighborhood, is part of the UNESCO list, known for its narrow streets, white houses, views, and Islamic architecture that reflect the city’s history. Here, we will experience the gypsy culture with a live show in authentic cave houses, accompanied by local drinks. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 Granada – Valencia – Barcelona
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Valencia. Valencia, located on Spain’s eastern coast facing the Mediterranean, is a blend of history and modernity. As Spain's third-largest city, it attracts visitors with its diverse cultural and artistic sites. Our city tour includes the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, the Arena, Arts and Science Museum, Central Market, and the historic Silk Exchange. Afterward, we proceed to Barcelona. Upon arrival, our city tour starts. Barcelona, Spain’s second-largest city and the vibrant capital of Catalonia, is world-renowned. This lively city on the Mediterranean offers a mix of history, art, culture, and entertainment. Its unique architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine, and vibrant nightlife draw millions of visitors annually. Antoni Gaudi’s masterpieces make the city an open-air museum. Highlights include La Sagrada Familia, Columbus Monument, La Ramblas street, Spain Square, Catalonia Square, Endülüs Arena, and Olympic Port. Transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6 Barcelona
After breakfast, those who wish can join an *extra* *Magnificent Poble Espanyol & Montjuic Hill Tour*. (30 Euros). We will explore Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village), built for the 1929 International Fair, which now hosts various craft workshops and recreates Spain’s regional architecture with 117 buildings, streets, and squares. Then, we will visit Montjuic Hill for panoramic views of Barcelona, a site transformed for the 1992 Olympics. After a photo break, those interested can join an *extra* *Magnificent Catalonia’s Jewels Tour (Girona & Figueres & Dali Museum & Park Güell & Gothic Quarter)* (120 Euros). The tour starts with Girona, a historic city known for its medieval streets, the Lion’s Gate, Cathedral Square, and Jewish Quarter. Next, we visit Figueres, Salvador Dali’s birthplace, famous for the Dali Museum with the artist’s extensive works. Following this, we explore Park Güell, Gaudi’s colorful and fairy-tale-like park, and the Gothic Quarter with its historical buildings, Tarragona Cathedral, and medieval streets. Return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 7 Barcelona – Ankara
After breakfast and a guided time to say farewell, transfer to Barcelona Airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart to Ankara with Pegasus Airlines flight VF 608 at 15:25. Arrive in Ankara at 18:25 local time, and this marks the end of our tour.
Important Notes;
- For this tour, a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel is required.
- Atlas International acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline, and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol.
- During registration, it is necessary to enter the name, date of birth, and passport number as they appear on the passport. Flight tickets are issued based on this information. Cancellation or changes to airline tickets caused by incorrect information will result in no-show fees charged to the guest.
- The city where the plane lands may vary. Atlas International cannot be held responsible for schedule changes or delays caused by airlines.
- For group tickets, airline regulations apply, and if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight also cannot be used.
- The baggage weight limit for flights departing from Turkey is generally 20kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and destination country. Domestic flights within the destination countries may have a weight limit of 15kg. Excess baggage weight/price policies are determined by airlines and are not the responsibility of Atlas International.
- If there are not enough participants for the package tour, the tour will be canceled and the customer will be notified 20 days in advance.
- The tour route specified in the program is an example route and may change. City sightseeing tours may take place the day after arrival or later, depending on arrival times. Tours specified in the program may be conducted on different days for any reason, at the guide's discretion.
- Extra tours will only be organized if there are at least 20 participants. If there are fewer participants, the tour will be organized at the guide's discretion, and prices may be adjusted accordingly. Atlas International is not responsible for the cancellation of these tours.
- On the way, extra tours will only take place if there is at least 10 participants from the group. Guests who do not want to participate will wait at the rest stop.
- No tours or trips will be organized that are prohibited by local authorities from visiting or accessing certain sites. Atlas International cannot be held responsible for such restrictions.
- Entrance fees to museums and archaeological sites are not included in the prices.
- Atlas International reserves the right to change hotel names while maintaining star ratings.
- All hotel names and similar details mentioned in the itinerary are examples for the star category and distance; it does not imply that accommodation will be in those specific hotels.
- Extra beds are available in triple rooms, where the third bed is smaller than a standard bed and/or an additional foldable bed.
- For minors under 18 who do not participate with one or both parents, power of attorney documents required for participation must be carried by the individuals during travel.
- In case of cancellations or modifications, the "Atlas International Sales Contract" is valid.
