01. DAY ISTANBUL AIRPORT – HAMBURG
We meet at the Istanbul Airport international terminal at 07:30, after which we check in for our flight. We then depart for Hamburg at 11:30 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1661. We arrive in Hamburg at 13:40 local time, followed by a transfer to our ship at the Hamburg port. After check-in and luggage processes for the COSTA FAVOLOSA ship, we settle into our cabins and afterwards have free time. Our guide will organize an introductory meeting to present the ship and our tours, and after this, you can enjoy the ship until dinner. Our ship will depart the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight stay will be on the ship.
02. DAY AT SEA
This day will be spent at sea, where our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can benefit from the open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas of the ship. Guests can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment events that will be held in dozens of bars. Different dining options will also await you throughout the day.
03. DAY STAVANGER
Our ship will dock at Stavanger port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can join the “Stavanger & Lysefjord Boat Tour” that our guide will organize as an optional extra. Our boat tour in Stavanger will consist of two parts. In the first part, we explore Norway's richest city, known as the center of the North Sea oil, on foot together. Then we plan to take about 2.5 hours to cruise the 42km Lysefjord (Light Fjord). For many, the most striking point of this uniquely beautiful fjord in Norway is Pulpit Rock, a monolithic granite rock that rises 600m from the sea. Though it appears that the large crack observable from three sides of the rock could fall into the sea at any moment, it is likely that this natural event will require thousands of years to occur. After the tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart the port at 18:00.
04. DAY FLAM
Our ship will dock at Flam port at 09:30 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can join our guide’s extra organized “Magnificent Flam Fjord & Gudvangen & Tvinde Waterfall Tour.” After having breakfast on the ship, we will visit Tvindefossen, one of Norway's most famous waterfalls, which can be translated as the "twin waterfall" in Turkish. Following this visit, we will explore Gudvangen, which means “the meeting place of the gods,” and the view point at Stegastein, which has a delightful road and breathtaking scenery. During our stop at Grimsetelvi, which offers another pleasant view, we will have time to photograph the stunning nature before returning to Flam. After the tour, you will have ample time for shopping at shops where you can find famous Norwegian down jackets, Omega-3 fish oils, and a variety of other souvenirs, before we leave from our last port in Norway. Our ship will depart the port at 19:30... Dinner and overnight stay will be on the ship.
05. DAY NORDJORDEID
Our ship will dock at Nordfjorded port at 09:00 in the morning. From the blue glaciers, majestic mountains, fertile valleys, and deep lakes, to the places where the Wild North Sea violently crashes onto the shore. You can go summer skiing and walk on sandy beaches under the sun on the same day while inhaling fresh sea air. Or perhaps you're at an excellent point where you can explore its cultural history... The largest glacial land opening onto the European mainland. Peaceful valleys and tidy farms surrounded by sparkling glaciers and roaring waterfalls, bordered by high mountains. A natural beauty, it is an important tourist center within the country. Here, those who wish can join the “Olden Town & Briksdal Glacier Tour,” which our guide will additionally organize. On our tour, we will depart from Olden town by bus, viewing the small red church and the surrounding scenes of Floen and Olden lakes, then we will reach Briksdal via Rustoen. We will hike approximately 40 minutes to get to the famous Briksdal glacier. Stunning waterfalls and magnificent mountain views await you here. Furthermore, you will find opportunities to capture beautiful images at Briksdal glacier and its surrounding lake. Our ship will depart Nordfjorded port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight stay will be on the ship.
06. DAY VIK / SOGN
Our ship will dock at Vik port at 08:00 in the morning. Free time in Vik i Sogn. In this charming town located along the Sognefjord coast, guests who wish can take a walk with a fjord view, enjoying peaceful time in nature. Guests can visit the Hopperstad Stave Church, one of the region's symbols, or spend pleasant time in the small cafes and shops in the town center. Additionally, the surrounding mountains and green valleys offer unique views for photography enthusiasts. Our ship will depart Vik port at 16:00. Dinner and overnight stay will be on the ship.
07. DAY AT SEA
This day will again be spent at sea, where our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can benefit from the open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas of the ship. Guests can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment events that will be held in dozens of bars. Different dining options will also await you throughout the day.
08. DAY HAMBURG – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock in Hamburg at 06:00. After breakfast, we will carry out our ship disembarkation processes. Guests who wish can join the “Hamburg City Tour” that our guide will optionally organize. Located at the southern end of the Jutland Peninsula, which separates the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, Hamburg sits at the intersection of the Elbe, Alster, and Bille Rivers. The city center is built around the Binnenalster and Aussenalster Lakes. The city has 2,302 bridges connecting its waterways. Hamburg Harbor, which extends inward from the North Sea, is the second largest harbor in Europe and is one of the most important international trade centers. The city, which contains many parks, is one of the top five “Green Cities” in the world. During our tour, we will visit the Hamburg Philharmonic Concert Hall, St. Michaelis Church, one of the most famous churches in Northern Germany, the Binnen and Aussenalster lakes, the Elbe River, St. Pauli known as the Red Light District, Reeperbahn, the Fish Market, the harbor area, and one of the most interesting spots, the City Hall with its magnificent architecture. After free time for shopping and dining, we will head to the airport. After our check-in process, we will depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1664 at 18:50. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport at 23:05 local time. End of our tour.
