1. Day Istanbul Airport – Bari
We meet in front of the international terminal at Istanbul Airport 3 hours before departure. After check-in and passport procedures, we depart with Turkish Airlines' special flight to Bari. Upon arrival at Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport local time, we head to our hotel with our private vehicle. After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for a panoramic city tour at the time determined by our guide. Bari, located on the Adriatic Sea coast, is the capital of the Puglia region and one of southern Italy’s most important port cities. During our panoramic city tour, we will see Vecchia Bari (Old Town), San Nicola Basilica dedicated to Saint Nicholas of Myra, Teatro Petruzzelli, Palazzo di Città, Palazzo della Provincia, and Lungomare di Bari. Then, we will go to Polignano a Mare, famous for its postcard-like landscapes. Known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” this charming town with white stone houses, rocky shores, and turquoise waters is also the birthplace of Domenico Modugno, known for the song “Volare.” After the tour, we return to Bari and have free time to rest.
2. Day Bari - Alberobello – Bari
After breakfast, we head to one of Italy's most enchanting stops in the Apulia region and a UNESCO World Heritage site, Alberobello. Upon arrival, we start a pleasant walking tour to explore this unique town. As we walk along narrow stone streets, we have the chance to see the cone-shaped Trulli houses, iconic symbols of the region. These structures, entirely made of chalk limestone, create a fairy-tale atmosphere that makes visitors feel as if time has stopped. After visiting, you can browse local handmade souvenirs, taste regional products, or take postcard-worthy photos. Afterwards, there is free time, then we return to Bari and have some leisure time.
3. Day Bari – Monopoli – Bari
After breakfast, we go to the elegant abyss of the Adriatic coast, Monopoli. With colorful houses, fishing boats lined along the coast, and narrow streets, this town has a typical Southern Italy atmosphere. We will take a short sightseeing tour and have free time before returning to Bari to rest.
4. Day Matera – Lecce – Bari
After breakfast, we start a full-day tour. First, we visit Matera, famous for its cave dwellings and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. During our walk in the Sassi di Matera area, we will see cave churches and impressive stone architecture up close. Afterwards, we head to Lecce, known as the “Florence of the South.” As the capital of Baroque architecture, this city is home to Santa Croce Basilica, Piazza Sant'Oronzo, and an ancient Roman amphitheater, which are among the panoramic sights. After the tour, we return to Bari and have free time to rest.
5. Day Bari – Istanbul
After breakfast, we check out of the rooms and transfer to the airport at the time determined by our guide. After check-in procedures, we depart from Istanbul with Turkish Airlines' special flight.
