Mid-Term Winter Holiday Florence Rome Tour (November 7, 2026) with Thy for 4 Nights (BLQ-FCO)
1st Day ISTANBUL – BOLOGNA – FLORENCE – MONTECATINI
Meeting at Turkish Airlines Check-in counter at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. Departure to Bologna with Turkish Airlines. Arrival at Bologna Airport local time and transfer to Florence for a city tour via our special bus. Our panoramic city tour will begin with capturing photographs of the historical streets and squares of Florence, ending at Piazza Della Repubblica. After a short break, we continue exploring the city of Florence, the capital of the Renaissance, accompanied by our guide. In the afternoon, there is an opportunity to join the optional tour of "Renaissance Works in the Footsteps of the Medici (45€)". During this tour, we will examine in detail the monuments of this historical city along with the life stories of Florentine artists and scientists who shaped the Renaissance period. The places to be seen include Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici Family ruled in Florence, Piazza Della Signoria, home to the sculptures of Hercules and David, the Uffizi Gallery, the historical Ponte Vecchio, the Medici corridor, the house of the famous author Dante Alighieri from the 13th century Divine Comedy, the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral with Italy's third highest dome, and the Baptistery known for its "Gates of Paradise," along with Florence's famous historical markets. Transfer to our hotel after the tour and overnight at the hotel.
2nd Day FLORENCE (MONTECATINI)
After breakfast, a free day. Guests who wish can join our guided "Great Tuscany Tour (145€)." The places to be visited include Pisa, San Gimignano, and Volterra. Pisa is famous for its leaning tower, regarded as one of the most important historical monuments in the world. During the panoramic tour, we will visit the Pisa Tower, the cathedral, the baptistery, and the Miracle Square, and guests may take photographs in this historical city. San Gimignano, known as the "City of 13 Towers," will be visited, featuring the main Cistern Square built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries. Here, ample shopping opportunities are available at reasonable prices. Volterra, a medieval walled city filled with history, has been featured in Hollywood films and series (such as Game of Thrones, Twilight Zone). This unique Tuscany town, dating back to the Etruscan and Roman periods, offers many possibilities for its visitors. During our visit to Volterra, we will walk along the narrow streets and squares from the Middle Ages with magnificent views of the Tuscany Valley. Notable sites to see include the Roman Theater, the remains of the forum area, the main square of the town, the Priori square, and the Volterra cathedral built in the 12th century. In free time, you can taste the famous cheeses and wines from small shops in the town or enjoy your coffee in its historic cafes. Transfer back to our hotel after the tour and overnight at the hotel.
3rd Day FLORENCE - MONTECATINI – ROME
After breakfast, we depart from our hotel and head to Rome with our private vehicle and guide. Upon arrival, we will have a panoramic city tour of Rome. Our tour will include the Vatican (St. Peter's), the Castel Sant'Angelo, the ruins of the Circus Maximus from ancient Rome, and the Baroque era streets, viewed panoramically by bus. A short photo break will be given at the Colosseum, and after the tour ends, we will have free time in the afternoon. In the evening, guests who wish can join the optional "Rome Night Tour (45€)", where we will see famous squares that we haven't previously visited and stroll through the streets. Transfer to our hotel after the tour and overnight at the hotel.
4th Day ROME
After breakfast, a free day. Guests who wish can join our guide for an optional tour to the breathtaking natural areas of "Lake Albano & Nemi Roma Villages (Strawberry Village) & Castelli Romani Outlet (95€)." We will explore the area, famous for its natural beauty, where the Popes used to spend their summers, as well as the Nemi village known for its wild strawberries. Following this, we will head to the Castel Romano Designer Outlet, where we will find famous brands and have shopping opportunities at this center. After this tour, guests who wish can join the optional "Rome Monuments and Masterpieces (65€)" tour, where we will visit some of the oldest monuments in the city, including the ancient Pantheon temple, the famous square of Baroque architecture and the Trevi Fountain, where it is believed that those who throw coins into it will return to Rome. We will also see the famous Spanish Steps, and Castel Sant'Angelo - the Castle of Angels and its bridge. At the end of this tour, you will be ready to get lost in the rich history and ancient stories of Rome during your guided exploration. Transfer back to our hotel and overnight at the hotel.
5th Day ROME – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Departure to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight, arrival in Istanbul local time, and end of our tour.
