Tour Program
Day 1 Ankara – Belgrade – Srebrenica - Sarajevo
Meeting at 02:00 in front of the Air Serbia Counter at Ankara Airport International Departures Terminal. After the ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart at 04:10 to Belgrade on Air Serbia Airlines flight JU431. Arrival in Belgrade at 05:10 local time. After baggage, passport, and customs procedures, we leave from Belgrade airport with our private vehicle. The first destination of our tour is Srebrenica, located in the east of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We visit Srebrenica to commemorate the massacre that took place on July 11, 1995. Here we visit the camp area where the innocent Bosniaks were held and the memorial. Then, we proceed to the capital Sarajevo. We take a stroll in Sarajevo's most prestigious market, Baščaršija. On this tour introducing the cultural city, we start with the Sebilj Fountain, which has become a symbol of the marketplace, followed by the visit to Morica Han, one of the authentic spots of the city. Next, we visit the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Suleiman the Magnificent. During our continuing tour, we see the Clock Tower, the famous fountain, and the intersection of cultures, this street also features the Eternal Flame monument which is a symbol of this city, followed by free time for relaxation, guests who wish can photograph the Latin Bridge where World War I broke out during this free time. Transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 2 Sarajevo – Vrelo Bosna - Konjic – Mostar – Blagaj – Medjugorje
After breakfast we will visit Vrelo Bosne, the largest national park in Sarajevo, located at the foot of Mount Igman, which includes the source of the Bosna River, organized by Tito once upon a time, and famous for its excellent walking trails, carriage riders, and authentic cafes. After free time, we will proceed to Mostar. The journey to Mostar will take approximately 2.5 hours with several stops along the way. Our first break will be in the town of Konjic (Konyitz), where we will have coffee by the Neretva River and see the famous Konjic Bridge, which has been restored by Turkey. Afterward, we arrive in Mostar, where we will take a walking city tour, starting with the Mostar Bridge (built by architect Hayreddin in 1557, the bridge is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture). The bridge was destroyed by Croatian artillery during the war in 1992 but was reopened in 2004 with substantial contributions from the Republic of Turkey. We will see Koska Mehmet Pasha Mosque. Then we will visit Blagaj Alperenler Tekke and the Buna River spring, located 12 km from Mostar. After our tour, we will stay overnight in Medjugorje or its surrounding area.

Day 3 Medjugorje – Kotor – Budva - Shkodra
After breakfast at our hotel, we cross into Montenegro, one of the world's youngest states. Our first stop is Kotor, a significant historical and natural treasure and tourism attraction; you will get to know this charming place during your walking tour in Stari Grad (Old City-Castle). After the Kotor tour, we will see Budva, where we will have a panoramic view with a break to see the magnificent St Stefan, a former fishing village that was turned into a tourist attraction after being sold to a multimillionaire from Singapore. We will transfer to the Albanian city of Shkodra afterward. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 4 Shkodra - Tirana – Ohrid
After breakfast at our hotel, we will head to the center of Tirana. We will have a panoramic tour, introducing this beautiful city, which was affected by wars throughout the 20th century and was under the dictatorship regime of Enver Hoxha for 40 years. We will see the Ethem Bey Mosque, the Historical Clock Tower, the National History Museum, and the Opera House in Iskender Bey Square. We will also see the Parliament and Prime Ministry buildings, the Presidential Palace, Mother Teresa Square, and the Tirana Pyramid from our vehicle. After the Tirana tour and free time, we will head to Ohrid, the pearl of the Balkans, via Elbasan. Our Ohrid tour will start at the Harbor Square, as we walk through the area with historical Ottoman houses seen in the series Elveda Rumeli, we will see the Church of St. Sophia and wrap up with the presentation of the famous Ohrid Pearl, a symbol of the city. After the tour, we will have free time. After our excursions, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our Ohrid hotel.

Day 5 Ohrid – Sv Naum – Tetova (Kalkandelen) – Skopje
After our breakfast we will travel with breathtaking views to St. Naum. We will visit the source where Ohrid Lake originates; the stunning scenery is sure to take your breath away. After our visit to Sveti Naum, we will proceed to Tetova, the second largest city in Macedonia, where the majority is Muslim Albanians. We will see this city panoramically and visit the Alaca Mosque in Kalkandelen (Tetova), which has rare architecture in the Balkans. After the tour, we will head to the capital of Macedonia, Skopje. We will start our tour introducing this city divided by the famous Vardar River, known as the land of statues, starting with the enormous statue of Alexander the Great. Then we will cross the Historical Stone Bridge over Vardar River, witnessing how cultures change in a moment, and visit the Skopje Turkish Bazaar, one of the most qualified markets in the Balkans during the Ottoman period. We will begin the tour in the bazaar from the Higum Kapou, continuing with a visit to the Davut Pasha Bath and ending at the Kapan Han, one of the most important structures of the Ottoman bazaar organization, and the Murat Pasha Mosque, which has survived despite earthquakes. After our visits, we will have one hour of free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. Some of the items we might buy include Šušak pepper, Ustrumca peanuts, and traditional shoes. After our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 6 Skopje – Matka Canyon – Prizren (Kosovo) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
After breakfast, we will head to the beautiful Matka Canyon, known for its exceptional beauty, where we will take a nature walk, and those who wish can take a boat trip with the famous kayaks in the canyon during free time. After our tour, we will head to Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, where the majority of the population is Muslim Albanians, after a panoramic view, we will go to the Tomb of Sultan Murad (Hüdavendigar), who was martyred by Obilic in the Kosovo Field Battle, one of the greatest victories of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans. After our visit, we will head to Prizren with a short bus ride. During our panoramic tour of Prizren, one of the sweetest cities in the Balkans, we will see the 17th-century Turkish Bath, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Castle. After the tour ends, there will be free time. After the tour, we will return to Skopje. Upon arrival in Skopje, we will join a Balkan night in a local restaurant defined by our guide, which is included in the tour price. Following our entertainment, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 7 Belgrade – Ankara
After breakfast, we will depart for Belgrade. After our journey, we will begin our city tour, starting with Knez Mihailova Street, known for its vibrancy. We will then visit the Belgrade Fortress, a site where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was injured during his conquest that was destined for Suleiman the Magnificent. The castle features the Key Keeper Monument, a French statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, Damat Ali Pasha's tomb, the Sokullu Fountain, and the terrace overlooking the point where the Danube and Sava rivers meet, concluding our tour here. After the tour, there will be free time until flight time. We will transfer to Belgrade airport. After the ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Ankara on Air Serbia Airlines flight JU430 at 00:30. Arrival in Ankara at 03:25. We hope to see you on your next trip…
