Ankara Movement - Comfort Portugal & Spain & Andalusia Tour - with Ajet HY
1. Day ANKARA - BARCELONA
We meet three hours before the flight at the international departures terminal of Ankara Esenboğa Airport. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we proceed to our flight to Barcelona operated by AJET Airlines. After arriving at the airport, we transfer to our private bus waiting for us and depart for the city tour. During our visit to Barcelona, the largest city and capital of the Catalonia autonomous region, we will have the opportunity to see many important architectural works. Notable sights include Montjuic Hill, Barcelona Port, Christopher Columbus Statue (Colón Square, Spain, and Catalonia Square) and panoramic views of La Rambla street. After check-in at the hotel, you will have free time to rest and overnight at the hotel.
2. Day BARCELONA - VALENCIA
After breakfast, we head towards Valencia. Upon arrival, we explore the city’s significant landmarks. Valencia, located on the eastern coast of Spain, is a vibrant and historic region known for large squares like Plaza del Ayuntamiento, historic buildings, and lively shopping streets. The city’s Cathedral, with its historic and Gothic style, and the Miguelete Bell Tower offering beautiful city views are highlights. The city center is also full of cafes, restaurants, and cultural activities. After the city tour, there will be free time, and then we meet at the designated time with our guide and transfer to our hotel. After check-in, you have free time to relax.
3. Day VALENCIA - GRANADA
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel towards Granada. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour. Granada, located in southern Spain in the Andalusia region, is a center of historical and cultural richness. The heart of the city is Plaza Nueva; this lively square is famous for its historic buildings and vibrant atmosphere. The Granada Cathedral and the Royal Chapel are also important landmarks, where the tombs of Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand are located. The city center is also lively with tapas bars, restaurants, and shopping. The historical fabric and cultural diversity of Granada make it an important destination. We then head towards the most significant structure of the region—the Alhambra Palace. Situated at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains with breathtaking views, we start our tour by viewing the fortress from outside, which is part of the palace’s defenses, distinguished by its impressive walls and towers. Next, we visit the Generalife Gardens, located beside the palace. These enchanting gardens are known for their elegant pools, flower-filled courtyards, and peaceful green spaces, allowing you to imagine how the Andalusian sultans spent their leisure time. 4. Day GRANADA – CORDOBA - SEVILLA
After breakfast, we begin our journey towards Seville. Our first stop is Córdoba, where the old city streets and the magnificent Roman Bridge reflect the Andalusian history. During our walk, we will closely explore the historical texture of the city and see the Córdoba Mosque, one of the city’s most iconic symbols. After the Córdoba tour, we continue our journey to Seville. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic tour of the city along the Guadalquivir River, visiting the Spain Square, the old tobacco factory, the Golden Tower, and the Jewish Quarter. We then have free time in front of Seville Cathedral to complete our city tour. Afterward, we transfer to our hotel in Seville and have free time.
5. Day SEVILLE - LISBON
After breakfast, we head towards Lisbon, Portugal’s capital and largest city. Upon arrival, we begin the city tour along the Tagus River estuary. Highlights include Jeronimos Monastery, Belem Tower, Discoveries Monument, Rossio, Restauradores, and the Marques de Pombal Square at the end of Liberty Street, where you will see the sights panoramically. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Lisbon and have free time.
6. Day LISBON - PORTO
After breakfast, we head to Porto. En route, we will visit Sintra, Estoril, and Cabo de Roca. Our first stop will be Sintra, where you will have free time to explore the car-free, narrow streets of the city center and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Cabo de Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. Upon arrival in Porto, we begin our city tour. You will see the Ribeira district overlooking the Douro River, the Porto Cathedral, the Sao Francisco Church, the Sao Bento Train Station, the Dom Luis I Bridge, and the Douro River. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time to relax.
7. Day PORTO - SALAMANCA - MADRID
After breakfast, we check out and proceed to Salamanca. Salamanca, known as the "Golden City" and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a captivating Spanish city. During the tour, we will see the City Hall, renowned for its baroque style, and explore the façade of the Salamanca University, one of Europe’s oldest universities. We will also visit the Old and New Cathedrals from outside. Experience the unique atmosphere of the city. After the Salamanca tour, we continue to the capital of Spain, Madrid. In the evening, we arrive in Madrid and settle into our hotel.
8. Day TOLEDO & MADRID
After breakfast, we depart for Toledo. Toledo’s narrow streets and cathedral testify to medieval architecture carried into the present day. During our explorations, we will take photographs, have shopping time, taste local delicacies, and engage in personal activities. After completing the tour, we continue our journey to the capital, Madrid. The first stop in Madrid will be the impressive Plaza Mayor. Then, we will spend time around Puerta del Sol, discovering the social and cultural heart of Madrid. Here, we will see the intertwining of the city’s history and modern life.
9. Day MADRID - ANKARA
After breakfast, we meet at the designated place and time to transfer to Madrid Airport. Our scheduled flight with AJET Airlines to Ankara departs. Upon arrival at Ankara Esenboğa Airport, our tour and services conclude, marking the end of an unforgettable experience.
