DAY 1 ISTANBUL AIRPORT - HAMBURG
We meet at the Istanbul Airport international terminal at 04:30, after which we complete our check-in procedures and then depart for Hamburg at 07:00 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1661. We arrive in Hamburg at 09:10 local time and transfer to our ship at Hamburg port. After checking in and handling luggage on the COSTA FAVOLOSA, we settle into our cabins and then have free time. Our guide will hold a meeting to introduce you to the ship and our tours after entry, and then you can enjoy the ship until dinner. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the ship.
DAY 2 AT SEA
This day will be spent sailing at sea, with our ship offering many alternatives for you. Those who wish can benefit from the open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas of the ship. Those interested can shop in duty-free stores, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment options available in numerous bars. Throughout the day, various dining options will also be waiting for you.
DAY 3 BERGEN
Our ship will dock at Bergen port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, we set off with our private vehicle for the "Bergen City Tour & Edvard Grieg House & Floien Cable Car". We will begin our exploration of this beautiful city, which was a trade and ship stop until 1830 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site, starting from the German Port and continuing to the Fish Market that will enchant you with its beauty. Following that, we will see the historic Hanseatic houses, Haakon's Hall, and the famous composer Grieg’s house by the shore of Nordasvatnet Lake. On our return trip, we will stop at a high viewpoint for a chance to see Bergen from above, and we will also take the famous funicular up to Mt. Floien (Floyen) for a panoramic view of Bergen. After the tour, we will return to our ship, which will leave the port at 17:00.
DAY 4 HELLESYLT – GEIRANGER
Our ship will dock at Hellesylt port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, we embark on our “Hellesylt & Geiranger Tour” with our special vehicle. These two enchanting villages at the fork at the end of Storfjord, once postal ports to the north, are currently the northern tourism cruise ports visited by an average of 180 ships annually due to the difficulty of access from land. We will start our tour by greeting the Hellesylt Waterfall... The original postal route to the north has now become a tourism center. Our first stop is the Hamre stone and the stone bridge from the 1800s. Then we will go to Hornindal lake, the deepest lake in Europe, and rest there. After setting off again, our next stop will be Stryn, one of the most lively cities in the region. After seeing the stone bridge, there will be free time for shopping and coffee/lunch. Following that, we will take a break at the foot of Lake Djupvatnet, and then you will be mesmerized by the view from the terrace of Dalsnibba mountain at 1476 m high if the weather is nice. Next, we will stop at the Flydal lookout point to capture photographs of Geiranger fjord. In the final stage of our tour, we will reach the port where our ship is anchored after descending the 180-degree angled road with 10 turns. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 20:00.
DAY 5 ALESUND
Our ship will dock at Alesund port at 07:00 in the morning. After breakfast, we will move with our special vehicle for the "Trollstigen and Alesund Panoramic Tour". The bus will take you from the meeting point to the beautiful region outside Alesund, the land of trolls. This area of Møre og Romsdal is particularly known for its furniture industry. The road traversing from Sjøholt along Storfjord brings us to Stordal and its Rose Church (built in 1789), leading us to Valldal, famous for its delicious strawberries. Our next stop will be at the breathtaking beauty Gudbrandsjuvet, a narrow and deep gorge of 5 m and 20-25 m respectively. You can walk over a bridge from one side to the other. From here, the bus will go to the Trollstigen plateau in Reinheimen National Park. Enjoy the magnificent views of the King's, Queen's, and Bishop's Mountains, as well as the Stigfossen waterfall on the Troll Road (Trollstigen). As we descend from the Troll Road, the driver will safely navigate through 11 sharp turns. There will be an extra photo stop to capture the best pictures of Stigfossen at the bottom of the Troll Road. Next will be a visit to the Troll Wall/Trollveggen, Europe's tallest vertical rock face. After this stop, it will be time to return to Alesund. Afterward, we will conduct an Alesund panoramic city tour. After the tour, we return to our ship, which will depart from the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the ship.
DAY 6 NORDFJORDEID
Our ship will dock at Nordfjorded port at 08:00 in the morning. From blue glaciers to majestic mountains, fertile valleys to deep lakes, it's a place where the Wild North Sea crashes mercilessly against the shore. You can go for a summer hike or stroll on sandy beaches beneath the sun, breathing in the fresh sea air. Or perhaps you're at a perfect spot to explore its cultural history... It's the largest glacier to land connection that opens to the European continent, surrounded by peaceful valleys and tidy farms, sparkling glaciers, thundering waterfalls, and tall mountains. After breakfast, we will move with our special vehicle for the "Olden Town & Briksdal Glacier Tour". On our tour, we will leave the Olden town, see the small red church, and arrive at Briksdal via Rustoen, enjoying the views of Floen and Olden lakes. We will hike for about 40 minutes to reach the famous Briksdal glacier. Here you will enjoy waterfalls and magnificent mountain views. You will also have the opportunity to capture stunning images at the glacial lake and Briksdal glacier. Our ship will depart from Nordfjorded port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the ship.
DAY 7 FLAAM
Our ship will dock at Flam port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, we will move with our special vehicle for the "Magnificent Flam Fjord & Gudvangen & Tvinde Waterfall Tour". After enjoying breakfast on board, during our tour, you will think you are walking through postcard landscapes as we first visit Tvindefossen, one of Norway's most famous waterfalls, known as the "twin waterfall." Our next visits will be to Gudvangen, which means "place of gods", and the awe-inspiring Stegastein viewpoint with its delightful route and breathtaking view. We will stop at Grimsetelvi in a different region for another wonderful view before returning to Flam. At the end of the tour, you’ll have some time for shopping in stores where you can find famous Norwegian down jackets for tax refunds, Omega-3 fish oils, and a wide variety of other souvenirs before departing from our final Norwegian port. Our ship will leave the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the ship.
DAY 8 MALOY
Our ship will dock at Maloy port at 07:00 in the morning. It is a town in the Kinn municipality of Vestland county in Norway. The Maloy Bridge connects the city center to the Deknepollen area on the mainland. The Sor-Vagsoy Church is located in Maloy. It is one of the most important fishing ports in Norway. Our ship will depart from Maloy port at 16:00. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the ship.
DAY 9 AT SEA
This day will be spent sailing at sea, with our ship offering many alternatives for you. Those who wish can benefit from the open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas of the ship. Those interested can shop in duty-free stores, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment options available in numerous bars. DAY 10 HAMBURG – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at Hamburg port at 08:00. After our breakfast, we will complete the ship's disembarkation procedures and move with our vehicle for the "Hamburg City Tour". Hamburg, located at the southern tip of the Jutland Peninsula, separating the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, lies at the junction of the Elbe, Alster, and Bille Rivers. The city center is established around the Binnenalster and Aussenalster lakes. The city has a total of 2,302 bridges connecting waterways. Hamburg Harbor, which opens into the North Sea, is the second largest in Europe and one of the most important international trade centers. The city, which has many parks, is one of the "Green Cities" ranked in the top five in the world. During our tour, we will see the Hamburg Philharmonic Concert Hall, St. Michaelis Church, one of the most famous churches in Northern Germany, Binnen and Aussenalster lakes, the Elbe River, St. Pauli, known as the Red Light District, the Reeperbahn, the Fish Market, the Harbor area, and one of the most fascinating points with its magnificent architecture, the City Hall. After a free time for shopping and dining, we will head to the airport. After our check-in procedures, we will depart for Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK1664 at 18:25. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport at 22:40 local time. End of our tour.
