Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Niš-Skopje
Meeting at 14:00 in front of the Air Serbia counter at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Niš at 17:00 on Air Serbia flight JU1805. We will arrive in Niš at 17:25 local time. After baggage, passport, and customs procedures, we will begin our tour of the city of Niš, one of the oldest cities where Emperor Constantine, the founder of Istanbul, was born. After our panoramic tour of the third largest city in Serbia, we will head to the capital city of North Macedonia, Skopje. Upon arrival, we will have a short panoramic tour before proceeding to our hotel. Accommodation in SKOPJE.

Day 2 Skopje – Kosovo (Prizren) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
After breakfast, we leave for Kosovo, one of the world’s youngest countries, whose population is mostly Muslim Albanians. We visit the 19th-century Ottoman Mansion near the capital city of Kosovo, Pristina, and the tomb of Sultan Murad (Hüdavendigar), who was martyred by Obilic in the Battle of Kosovo, one of the biggest Ottoman victories in the Balkans, before moving on to Prizren. In Prizren, one of the most charming cities in the Balkans, we will have a panoramic tour featuring the 17th-century Turkish Bath, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress. After the tour ends, we will have some free time. After the tour, we will head back to Skopje.
Upon arrival in Skopje, we will begin our tour of the city, divided by the famous Vardar River, showcasing two different cultures, starting with the Macedonian side. Our first stop will be the enormous statue of Alexander the Great, followed by traverse the historical Skopje Stone Bridge over the Vardar River. We will witness firsthand how abruptly cultures change, moving forward to the Skopje Turkish Bazaar, one of the most qualified markets of the Ottomans in the Balkans. We will describe the statues found at the entrance of the bazaar and start our tour of the historical Davut Pasha bath, and afterwards, we will see one of the most important buildings of the Ottoman bazaar organization, Kapan Han, and the Murat Pasha Mosque, which has survived despite earthquakes. After our visits, we will have one hour of free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. We can buy Şuşka peppers, Ustrumca peanuts, and çarık. After our tour, we will have a Balkan night at a local restaurant, as determined by the guide, which is included in the tour price. After entertainment, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Skopje – Matka Canyon – Tetova (Kalkandelen) – Ohrid
After breakfast , we move towards Matka Canyon, known for its unique beauty, for a nature walk, and during free time, guests wishing can go for a boat trip in the famous canyon. After our tour, we head to Tetova, the second largest city in Macedonia, predominantly inhabited by Muslim Albanians. We will see the city panoramically and visit the Alaca Mosque, which has a rare architecture in the Balkans, before proceeding to Ohrid, known as the pearl of the Balkans. Upon arrival, we will start our city tour of Ohrid, named after Lake Ohrid, one of the largest lakes in the Balkans. We will begin at the Harbor Square and discuss the statues we see, then stroll through the neighborhood with the historic Ottoman houses where the series "Goodbye Rumelia" was filmed, and conclude our tour by presenting the famous Ohrid Pearl. After free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Ohrid - St. Naum - Elbasan-Tirana-Shkodra
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for St. Naum, a magnificent place. We will arrive after approximately a 1-hour journey with breathtaking views. Here, we will visit the source of Lake Ohrid. The splendid view will take your breath away. After passing through Elbasan city, we will head to the capital, Tirana. We will conduct a panoramic tour of this beautiful city, founded by Suleiman Pasha in 1614, which lived through wars throughout the 20th century and was under the dictatorship of Enver Hoxha for 40 years. During the tour, we will see the Ethem Bey Mosque, the historical Clock Tower, the National Museum, the Opera and Ballet Building, the Parliament Building, the Prime Minister's Office, the Presidential Palace, the Statue of Mother Teresa, and Skanderbeg Square. Following the Tirana tour, we will have some free time. Then we will reach Shkodra and check into our hotel. ISKODRA

Day 5 Shkodra – St. Stefan – Budva – Kotor - Trebinje (Medjugorje)
After breakfast at our hotel, we cross into Montenegro, one of the world’s youngest countries. Our first stop is St. Stefan, a once fishermen's settlement turned into a holiday destination for the elite. We will make a stop to see this magnificent view from a hill (depending on vehicle parking availability). Next, we will continue on the stunning coastal roads of the Adriatic towards Budva, where we will see it panoramically. Our next stop will be Kotor, a site of historical significance, natural beauty, and a major tourist attraction. Here, you will walk through Stari Grad (Old Town), where you will get to know this charming town. After the tour in Kotor, we will continue to the city where we will be accommodated for the night. Accommodation in Medjugorje, Trebinje, or surroundings. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 Medjugorje – Mostar – Blagaj - Konjic – Sarajevo
After breakfast at our hotel, we move towards the historic city of Mostar. Upon arrival in Mostar, we will see the Mostar Bridge during our walking city tour. (Built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557, the bridge is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture.) The bridge was destroyed by Croatian artillery during the war in 1992, but thanks to the significant contributions of the Republic of Turkey, it was reopened in 2004. We will explore the old town market. After free time, we proceed to Blagaj, known as the home of the Dervishes. After our visits in Blagaj, we will continue to the capital city, Sarajevo. We will make a stop in Konjic, where we will see the famous Ottoman bridge, the Konjic bridge, restored by Turkey, enjoying coffee on the banks of the Neretva River. After the break, we proceed towards the capital Sarajevo. Upon arrival, we will explore Baščaršija, the most distinguished bazaar in Europe. In our tour of this cultural city, we will start with the Sebilj Fountain, the symbol of the bazaar, then see Morica Han, one of the most authentic spots in the city. Afterward, we will visit the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Sultan Suleiman, and continue to the Clock Tower, the famous fountain which has become a ritual, and the meeting point of cultures, home to the Eternal Flame monument as well. After the tour, we will have some free time; guests can photograph the Latin Bridge where World War I began. A Bosnian meatball meal at a local restaurant is included in the tour price. After our tour and the free time, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 7 Sarajevo – Belgrade
After breakfast, we will head to Belgrade. After the journey, we will start our city tour in Belgrade, the new symbol of liveliness, which is one of the oldest cities in Europe, starting from Knez Mihailova Street, the city's most elegant street. We will visit the Belgrade Fortress, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was injured during siege, but the conquest was granted to Kanuni Sultan Süleiman. Within the fortress, we will see the Key Monument, the French statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, Sokullu Fountain, and end our tour with the viewpoint overlooking the meeting point of the Danube and the Sava Rivers, the city’s most beautiful vista. After the tour, we will have free time. We will stay at our hotel in Belgrade.
