Day 1 Istanbul – Batumi (Breakfast)
We recommend that you arrive at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at least 3 hours before your flight. We are departing for Batumi, one of the most important ports and tourist cities on the Black Sea coast of Georgia, at 12:05 by Pegasus Airlines flight PC 310.
At 14:50, after our arrival in Batumi and completing our passport and customs procedures, we begin our city tour. During our Batumi city tour, we will see the famous Medea Statue holding the golden fleece, Europe Square, Astronomy Clock, Piazza Square which was constructed as a copy of examples in Italy and is considered one of the most beautiful squares in Georgia, St. Nicholas Church built during the Ottoman period as a gift to the sultan by the Greeks, Batumi Boulevard, built in 1884, which stretches along the coast, Miracle Park, one of the finest examples of modern architecture, the historically significant and now tourist attraction Porto Franco Port, a replica of the Izmir Clock Tower, the Ali and Nino Statue known for its tragic love stories, Theater Square, Poseidon (Neptune) Statue and Theater Building are among the places we will view panoramically. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel in Batumi.
Day 2 Batumi – Mestia – Ushguli – Mestia (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we are heading toward Svaneti Region, one of the most impressive mountainous areas in Georgia. (265 Km) Upon arriving in Mestia, we will begin our regional tour. First, we will visit the Svaneti Museum of History and Ethnography to learn about the region's history and cultural structure. Then we will see the Svan Towers, which have become the symbol of the region, located in the center of Mestia. These stone towers were built in the Middle Ages for defense and reflect the feudal structure of Svaneti. Next, we will visit the church known as the House of the Virgin Mary. Then we will head to Ushguli Village, one of the highest villages in Europe where permanent settlement continues and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (Approximately 45 km) Located at the foot of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, Ushguli is one of the most special places in the region with its stone houses, Svan towers, and views of Mount Shkhara.
After our visit, we return to Mestia. Overnight stay at our hotel in Mestia.
Day 3 Mestia – Kutaisi (Breakfast)
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we head to Kutaisi, one of the largest and oldest cities in Georgia, known for its natural and historical riches. (220 Km) Upon our arrival in Kutaisi, we begin our city tour. During this ancient city, which was the capital of the Kingdom of Colchis, we first visit the Gelati Monastery, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. This important building, built in the 12th century, served as an academy in the Middle Ages and played a significant role in the development of Georgian science and culture.
Next, we will see the Bagrati Cathedral, which has become a symbol of the city with its architecture dating back to the 11th century. This important religious building, which displays the sacred relics of St. Nicholas, known as Santa Claus, impresses its visitors with both its historical and spiritual significance. Our next stop is the Prometheus Cave, one of the most striking natural formations in Georgia, containing great lakes and underground rivers. During our walk in this fascinating cave adorned with stalactites and stalagmites, we will witness the unique landscapes created by nature over millions of years.
After returning to the city center, we will see the Opera House, which holds an important place in the cultural life of Kutaisi, and take a photo break at the Colchis Fountain, which consists of 30 different statues symbolizing the Kingdom of Colchis. During our free time, guests can explore the city center, spend time in local cafes, and shop.
After our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel in Kutaisi.
Day 4 Kutaisi – Gori – Uplistsikhe – Mtskheta – Jvari – Tbilisi (Breakfast)
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, our first stop of the day is Gori. (Approximately 150 km) Here, we will visit the Stalin Museum, where many items and photos belonging to the Georgian leader Josef Stalin, who turned the Soviet Union into an industrial and military superpower, are displayed. After our museum visit, a short city tour in Gori will be held. After that, we are headed to Uplistsikhe Ancient City, known for its rock-carved structures reminiscent of Cappadocia. (Approximately 15 km) This ancient settlement, known for its rock-carved houses, temples, and streets, will be explored after our visit. Next, we will pass to Mtskheta, the former capital of Georgia before Tbilisi. (Approximately 65 km)
In Mtskheta, one of the oldest settlements that have survived to this day, we will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, which is considered one of the holiest religious buildings in Georgia, and we will give free time in the historic city center. Following this, we will rise to a hill overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura Rivers, where Jvari Monastery, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located. (Approximately 20 km) This 6th-century structure enchants its visitors with its architecture and views. After our tour, we will transfer to Tbilisi. Overnight stay at our hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 5 Tbilisi- Bodbe Monastery- Signaghi- Tbilisi Narikala and Dinner with Caucasian Night (Breakfast and Dinner)
After breakfast, we start a wonderful day together. We head to Bodbe Monastery, one of Georgia's most important religious sites, known for its architecture and surrounding nature. (approximately 60 km). After our visit here, we will head to 'Love City Sighnaghi'. (approximately 15 km). This beautiful place, a complete tourist attraction known for its natural beauty, restored charming stone buildings, and scenic views, will include a walking tour where we will see the Sighnaghi Fortress with its long 4 km walls, known as the 'Georgia Wall', St. George Church which attracts admiration with its architecture and surrounding nature, the historic center of the city which has retained its structure thanks to the neat and well-maintained historical buildings, and the 'Doctor on the Donkey' Statue dedicated to the beloved village doctor who helped many villagers in the past.
During our city tour, we will use special electric vehicles and take photo breaks at Kakheti panorama point, Signaghi panorama point, and St. George Tower, where we can enjoy unique views on the city walls. During our free time, guests can freely explore this charming place, shop, and enjoy lunch. Afterward, we are heading towards Tbilisi. (approximately 10 km) Upon arrival, we will start our walking tour around Flower Market and Covered Market famous for Orbeliani Park, Atoneli Street, which has become a center of attraction with the restoration of 13 significant buildings considered as cultural heritage of the country, and we will visit Gabriadze Neighborhood. We will see Europe Square, Kura River and Rike Park, Avlabari District, and Georgian Patriarchate, and Sioni Cathedral will also be part of our tour. Afterward, we will visit the Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Puppet Theater and Angel Clock Tower, Anchiskhati Basilica, Jan Shardeni Street. During our free time in this beautiful square, you will have the chance to taste local flavors in authentic cafes. We will visit Bethlehem Street, which is the center of the Jewish Community in Georgia and houses many artifacts. After this, we will head to the Fortress Area, where the symbol of the city, Narikala, is located. We will take a short teleferik ride to the top to see the Kartvlis Deda Monument - the Mother of Georgia statue built in 1958 to celebrate the 1500th anniversary of Georgia, and you can take panoramic photos of the city from here. Returning by teleferik to the city, we will visit the historic Abanotubani, known for its sulfur baths that have given the city its name since the 4th century B.C. We will see the historical Friday Mosque, also known as 'Double Mihrab', built by the Ottomans in 1724, and the Chreli Abano Sulfur Baths. After descending through the famous Turning Staircase and crossing the Wooden Bridge of Love, we will have free time in the city's underground market. Afterwards, we will go to our dinner location where you can enjoy the breathtaking Caucasian Folklore performances while having a dinner menu consisting of Georgian delicacies. At the end of this wonderful day, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel.
Day 6 Tbilisi (Breakfast)
Breakfast will be served at our hotel. Rooms must be vacated by 12:00.
After vacating the rooms, we start our Tbilisi Tour. This beautiful city surprises its visitors with what it offers. First, we will see Narikala Fortress, Peace Bridge, Rike Park, Meidan, Ethnography Museum, Agmashenebeli Boulevard, City Hall, Rustaveli National Theater, Viceroy Palace, National Bank of Georgia, Mtatsminda Hill, Mother of Georgia Monument, the main square of the city called Freedom Square, the Parliament Building, the Archaeology Museum which houses important historical treasures, the Fine Arts Museum with over 3500 works, the replica of the XI Century Samtavisi Cathedral, the Kashueti St George Church, the National Museum of Georgia which hosts significant Georgian artifacts, the Opera and Ballet Theatre, which hosts important shows, and MoMa Museum, which is famous for its sculptures and also hosts temporary exhibitions, the Historical Books Museum known for its old books and manuscripts, and the Fine Arts Academy famous for its Mirror Hall. Finally, we will see the Sameba Holy Trinity Cathedral, the largest religious structure in modern Georgia, the statue of Vakhtang Gorgasali, known as the Horse King, at Metekhi Hill and we view the replica of Metekhi Church, whose foundations date back to 455 AD panoramically. At the time indicated by our guide, transfer to the airport.
Day 7 Tbilisi-Istanbul
At 03:25, we will depart for Istanbul by Pegasus Airlines flight PC 319.
