1. DAY ISTANBUL – ROME
We meet our valued guests in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at the International Departures Terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we depart on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight. Upon arrival, we head with our private bus waiting for us at the airport for a panoramic Rome city tour. During our city tour, we will see Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned; Venice Square and the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, where Mussolini addressed the public; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator battles; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; the Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps; and the Spanish Steps with the sunken ship fountain. 2. DAY ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Then our guests may join the Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour organized by our guide. After visiting the region of natural beauty where the Popes used to spend their summers, and Nemi Village, famous for its wild strawberries, we have free time for shopping at the famous Castel Romano Outlet. Then we head to St. Peter’s Square, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time to visit the Basilica and the Square. 3. DAY ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Then our guests may join the Naples & Pompeii Tour organized by our guide. Our first stop is Pompeii, which remained under 7 meters of ash and soil until the 18th century after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After the excavations carried out at that time, we will have the opportunity to see the houses, palaces, and petrified people that emerged. After visiting the Pompeii open-air museum, we depart for Naples. Upon arrival, panoramic Naples city tour. In our city tour, the Piazza Plebiscito, the city’s central square; the Royal Palace built in the 17th century; Castel Nuovo (New Castle); the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, inspired by St. Peter’s Square and the Pantheon in Rome; the Galleria Umberto I, where shops are located; the San Carlo Theatre, built in 1737 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and Naples Harbor will be among the places seen. 4. DAY ROME – FLORENCE
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Then our guests have the opportunity to join the Orvieto Tour, organized by our guide as a route-based excursion. After seeing the ancient city center and the Orvieto Duomo in Orvieto, a city that holds an important place in Italy’s art and general history and has extraordinary natural beauty, we continue to Florence. Upon arrival, panoramic Florence city tour. On our tour, we will see the Arno River, which divides Florence into two; Ponte Vecchio, famous for its goldsmiths; Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence; Piazza della Signoria, home to masterpieces of the Renaissance including the statues of Hercules and David; the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore, which has the 3rd highest dome in Italy; and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. 5. DAY FLORENCE
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Then our guests may join the Pisa & Portofino Tour organized by our guide. After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Piazza dei Miracoli, we will travel by boat to the world-famous Portofino village, which has been the subject of songs. 6. DAY FLORENCE – VENICE
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Venice. Then our guests may join the Bologna Tour, organized by our guide as a route-based excursion. In our Bologna city tour, Piazza Maggiore (the Great Square), considered the center of Bologna; Neptune Fountain located just behind the square; the Old Stock Exchange Building; the first university building in Europe; Quadrilatero (the old market); and the Garisenda and Asinelli towers, which have become symbols of Bologna, will be among the places seen. After the tour, we continue to Venice. Upon arrival at Tronchetto Square, we take a short boat ride to St. Mark’s Square and begin a panoramic Venice city tour. During our city tour, we will see the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering prison, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge on it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore.
