1st Day ISTANBUL – ROME
At the Turkish Airlines counter in the International Departures terminal of Istanbul Airport, we will meet. After luggage and ticket processing, we will depart for Rome. Arrival in Rome local time. We will proceed to Rome with our private vehicle and guide waiting for us. After arrival, a panoramic city tour of Rome. During our tour, we will see some of the city’s most valuable treasures, including Vatican City (St. Peter’s), Castel Sant’Angelo (Angels’ Castle), and the ruins of the Circus Maximus stadium left from Ancient Rome, as well as Baroque-era streets panoramically by bus. A short photo break at the Colosseum and the end of the tour leaves free time in the afternoon. In the evening, for guests wishing to join, we will move for an extra tour to experience the famous squares of Rome that we haven’t seen yet and enjoy a pleasant time strolling through its streets (Rome Night Tour €45). After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight stay.
2nd Day ROME
After breakfast, it’s a free day. For guests wishing to join, we will depart for an extra tour organized by our guide to the breathtaking nature of Lake Albano & Nemi Villages (Strawberry Village) & Castelli Romani Outlet Tour (€95). We will visit the region where Popes used to live during the summer and the village of Nemi famous for its wild strawberries. Following this tour, in the later part of the day, guests may also choose to join the extra Rome Monuments and Masterpieces Tour (€65). During this tour, we will witness the historical city that has shaped European civilization for 23 centuries and includes some of the city’s oldest monuments, such as the ancient Pantheon temple, Piazza Navona known for its Baroque architecture and famous fountain, the Trevi Fountain where it is believed that throwing a coin guarantees a return to Rome, the famous Spanish Steps known for its street performers, and Castel Sant’Angelo (Angels’ Castle) and its bridge. Get ready to get lost in the ancient stories and historical fabric of Rome as your guide walks you step by step through the city. After the tour, you might enter the New Year special, illuminated in the historical squares of Rome, with wonderful fireworks and street concerts. Guests who do not participate in this tour can opt for an extra New Year’s Eve night transfer service (Rome center – hotel one-way €45). HAPPY NEW YEAR...
3rd Day ROME – FLORENCE (MONTECATINI)
After breakfast, we will depart for Florence. Upon arriving in Florence, we will start our panoramic city tour by photographing the historic streets and squares of Florence, concluding our panoramic tour at Piazza Della Repubblica (Republic Square). After a short break, guests wishing to join can continue exploring Renaissance’s capital, UNESCO World Heritage site Florence, with our guide step by step. In the afternoon, there is an opportunity to join an extra tour titled “In the Footsteps of the Medicis: Renaissance Art Tour (€45)”. Our tour will closely examine the historical monuments of this ancient city intertwined with the life stories of Florentine artists and scientists who shaped the Renaissance. Among the places to visit are Palazzo Vecchio where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza Della Signoria housing the masterpieces of Hercules and David, Uffizi Art Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, the city’s oldest bridge, the Medici corridor, Dante Alighieri’s House from the 13th century, the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral with the highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery, famous for its “Gates of Paradise” and Florence’s historical markets. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight stay.
4th Day FLORENCE (MONTECATINI)
After breakfast, it’s a free day. Guests wishing to join can depart for an extra tour titled “Great Tuscany Tour (€145)”. This tour will cover the highlights of Siena, San Gimignano, and Volterra. In San Gimignano (The City of 13 Towers), we will visit the central Cistern Square, which was constructed by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries. Here, you can shop at affordable prices. The city of Siena is known for its narrow streets from the Middle Ages, its small lanes, and the Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe, and is one of the most important cities listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Other places to visit include Siena Cathedral and Palazzo Publico (Town Hall). We will also have the opportunity to enjoy delightful food and local drinks from Tuscany. Volterra is a medieval walled city steeped in history, which has also been the subject of Hollywood films. This unique Tuscan town with origins in the Etruscan and Roman periods offers many options for visitors. During our visit to Volterra, we will walk through its narrow streets and squares dating back to the Middle Ages, with the stunning views of the Tuscan valley. Places to visit include the Roman Theatre, the ruins of the forum, the main square called Priori Square, and the Volterra Cathedral built in the 12th century. During free time, you can sample cheeses and the famous wines from the little shops in the town or sip coffee in the historic cafes in the square. After the tour, return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
5th Day FLORENCE - BOLOGNA - ISTANBUL
After breakfast, check out of the rooms and it’s free time. Guests wishing to join may take part in an extra tour titled "Tuscany Bella Pisa & Lucca (€95)”. Pisa is famous for its Leaning Tower, one of the world’s most recognized historical monuments. During our tour, we will visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracoli Square, where guests can take photos in this historical city. Lucca is a city in Northern Italy crossed by the Serchio River, located on a plain by the Ligurian Sea. It is well-preserved from the Renaissance period, known for its walls. Once you enter the walls, you will find historical streets planned in 180 BC filled with medieval buildings, restaurants, souvenir, and gourmet shops. After the tour, transfer to the airport. Depart for Istanbul with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight, and arrival in Istanbul local time, concluding our tour.
