Day 1    ISTANBUL – BAKU
In the evening of May 26th, after check-in and baggage procedures at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport's international departure terminal, we depart at 00:15 on Azerairways Flight VF179 to the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. Arriving at 04:05 local time in Baku. Upon arrival, our private bus awaits us at the airport to begin our first city acquaintance with a panoramic city tour of Baku. We explore prominent points such as the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, the peaceful Venice Park, Baku Boulevard along the coast, the impressive Flame Towers, the meaningful Martyrs' Cemetery, the Carpet Museum, and the National Assembly Square. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. After settling into our rooms, free time. Overnight at the hotel.
 
Day 2    BAKU
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. We meet in the lobby at the designated time provided by our guide. After the meeting, we proceed to our full-day "Absheron Peninsula & Ateshgah & Fire Mountain & Shopping Tour." Our first stop is the Ateshgah Temple, one of the sacred sites of Zoroastrian faith. Known for the legend of the "Unquenchable Fire," this special place still retains its mystical atmosphere from the past. Next, we visit the Fire Mountain, a natural wonder where underground gas ignites and has burned continuously for centuries; one of Azerbaijan’s symbols, described by Marco Polo as the "Land of Fires." Returning to Baku, we have lunch at a selected restaurant. Afterwards, we head to Port Baku/Crescent Mall for shopping. World-famous brands’ stores, modern cafes, and a pleasant atmosphere await you. Time for shopping and relaxation. Post-tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
 
Day 3    BAKU
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. We gather in the lobby at the time informed by our guide. Afterward, we embark on our "Gobustan & Mud Volcanoes & Heydar Aliyev Museum Tour." Our first stop is Gobustan, a UNESCO World Heritage site that bears traces dating back to prehistoric times. Located along the Caspian Sea, this open-air museum showcases rock carvings and pictorial stones, shedding light on thousands of years of history. Then, we observe the mud volcanoes, which are rare and found densely in Azerbaijan. Dynamic geological activity here will fascinate you. In the afternoon, we return to Baku and visit the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, an architectural masterpiece of contemporary Azerbaijan designed by Zaha Hadid. This iconic building is striking both externally and internally, hosting exhibitions and collections related to Heydar Aliyev, as well as ethnographic and archaeological artifacts. After the visit, we return to our hotel.
Extra: In the evening, guests who wish can join an optional "Dinner and Azerbaijani Night" organized by our guide (EUR 80 per person). This enjoyable evening features traditional music, local flavors, and an authentic Azerbaijani cultural experience, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your trip. After the evening, we return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
 
Day 4    BAKU – ISTANBUL
Following breakfast at the hotel, we check out and vacate our rooms. We gather in the lobby at the designated time and then begin our "Old Town & Surakhani Gemi Museum Tour." In this tour, we will visit the Surakhani tanker, which played an important role in Azerbaijan's maritime oil transportation history and was transformed into a museum after comprehensive maintenance in 2017. The tanker is 123.5 meters long and weighs 4696 tons; the museum features various innovative solutions. Here, we learn about the Caspian Sea’s history, oil production in the Absheron region, maritime developments, early ships, sea giants, navigation facilities, and artifacts dating back approximately 5000 years, including knots, ships, and equipment used in seamanship. After the museum visit, we explore the Inner City (Ichari Shahar), with its cobbled streets, seeing important sites like the Maiden Tower, Shirvanshahs’ Palace, Miniature Book Museum, and historic hammams. Finally, we enjoy some free time on Nizami Street, the most vibrant area of Baku, reminiscent of İstiklal Avenue in Istanbul.
After free time, at the indicated time, we meet again and head to Baku Heydar Aliyev Airport. Upon arrival, passport and baggage procedures are completed, and we depart at 17:35 on Azerairways Flight VF178 back to Istanbul. Arriving at 19:40 at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, our tour concludes.
