(1 calendar day before the departure flight date) Day 2: Antalya – Tirana – Elbasan – Sveti Naum – Ohrid Meet at the International Departures Terminal of Antalya Airport... After ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, departure on Sunexpress flight XQ 214 at 00:25 to Tirana. Arrive in Tirana at 01:30 local time. After passport, baggage, and customs, transfer with our private buses from the capital Tirana and pass through Elbasan toward Ohrid, the pearl of the Balkans. Our first stop is the source of Lake Ohrid, where we will visit the birthplace of Lake Ohrid, offering a breathtaking view. After visiting Sveti Naum, we arrive in Ohrid, a city with a Mediterranean feel. We start our city tour at the Harbor Square, mentioning the statues there, and then walk through the historic Ottoman-style houses and the Ayasofya Church where the TV series "Elveda Rumeli" was shot. We conclude our tour with a presentation of the famous Ohrid Pearl. After free time, we check into our hotel. Dinner and overnight in Ohrid. Day 3: Ohrid – Tetova (Kalkandelen) – Matka Canyon – Skopje (Balkan Night) After breakfast, we head to Tetova, North Macedonia’s second-largest city with a Muslim majority. We will see the city panoramically and visit the Alaca Mosque in Kalkandelen (Tetova), known for its unique architecture. Then, we head to the stunning Matka Canyon for a nature walk and optional boat tour. After free time, we meet the bus for the continuation to the capital, Skopje. Our city tour starts with the Macedonian side, home to the massive Alexander the Great statue, then crossing the famous Stone Bridge over the Vardar River, we visit the Turkish Quarter with the Davut Paşa Bath, Kapan Han, and Murat Pasha Mosque. After the visit, you'll have one hour of free time in the Bazaar for shopping. In the evening, we enjoy a Balkan Night with traditional food and music at a local restaurant. The fortress includes the Key of Belgrade Monument, French Monument, Istanbul Gate, Military Museum, Damat Ali Pasha Mosque, Scolou Fountain, and offers a magnificent view of the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. Free time follows, then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Dinner and overnight in Belgrade. Next, see Hüsrev Bey Mosque, built in 1615, and then visit the Clock Tower, the Eternal Flame, and meet the confluence of cultures at the Sönmeyen Ateş monument. Free time allows optional visits to Latin Bridge, where WWI began. Then, transfer to the hotel for overnight stay. Arrive in Mostar and see the Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque and Turkish Consulate. Visit the renowned Mostar Bridge, reconstructed after being destroyed in 1992 war, with a chance to watch local divers if possible. Explore the old bazaar area. Proceed to Blagaj to visit the Blagaj Tekke, a peaceful spiritual site by the source of the Buna River, surrounded by cliffs. After the visit, transfer to hotel in Trebinje or surroundings, near Medjugorje or Blagaj. Overnight stay. Need to Know
- During the tour, having Euro is sufficient for shopping and expenses in all countries included in the program. In regions where local currency is used, the Guide will assist with currency exchange. - Comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes should be preferred throughout the trip. It is advisable to carry a cardigan or similar clothing for the evenings. - Our tours implement a rotation (seat changing) system daily for seat planning, and fixed seats or front seat guarantees are not provided. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide. - When entering Turkey from abroad, there is a mandatory minimum 3-night stay to bring items (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.). - Free shop shopping limits upon entering Turkey from abroad are: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic beverages: 1 liter of spirits (excluding spirits with more than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), 2 liters of spirits (including spirits with less than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), perfume: 600 ml, makeup or skin care products: 5 items, chocolates and candies: 2 kg, coffee: 1 kg, tea: 1 kg. - Tour guides may change the program flow depending on weather and road conditions, provided they show all listed places. - Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the departure. If canceled less than 30 days before the tour, a 30% penalty applies; if less than 20 days, a 100% penalty is applied. Documents such as hospital reports, employer permits, etc., submitted for cancellation are not accepted for cancellations of services outside Turkey. - Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participants are not achieved, the final notice of cancellation is given 20 days before the tour. The tour will be canceled by Viyatravel due to insufficient participation. - In cases where only the category information is provided without specific hotel names, or options are available for the same destination, hotels will be announced by Viyatravel at least 2 days before the departure. - Hotels may be used at locations with more than the specified kilometers during fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc. - Triple rooms are provided subject to hotel availability; in these rooms, the third bed is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed plus 1 additional folding or coach bed. Participants agree that these additional beds may be smaller and that such arrangements are accepted for child discounts, which are valid only for one child staying with two adults. - Breakfasts included in the hotel services are generally continental, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and are served in a designated hall for groups. - Panorama city tours included in the package provide a general introduction to the cities with a guided narration from the vehicle, lasting 2-3 hours at most, and do not include entrance to museums or historical sites. These tours may not be conducted if access is restricted or blocked during the scheduled time, or due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted on foot or by public transportation within the limits permitted. - Waiting times at customs checkpoints during land crossings may be longer than usual, and Viyatravel is not responsible for any inconvenience caused. - Extra tours require a minimum of 20 participants organized by our local partner Viyatravel. If the minimum is not met, excursions may not take place, and prices or content may vary depending on the number of participants and available vehicles. Tours scheduled on specific days and times may change depending on the availability of museums or sites, and weather conditions. - Participation in extra tours is optional; passengers who choose not to participate agree to wait at a convenient rest stop. They will be dropped off there before the tour and picked up afterward. - For air tour participants, check-in and boarding are personal procedures to be completed at the airport either at the airline counters or online before the flight. - Failure to be present at the specified time and location for check-in and boarding, or missing the flight despite check-in, is not the responsibility of Viyatravel. Those who miss the flight are responsible for their own costs related to new tickets and transfers. - Viyatravel acts as an intermediary between passengers and airlines, and is subject to the 1955 Hague Protocol. Flights may be delayed or times may change; Viyatravel will inform of such changes as soon as possible. Passengers accept the risk of schedule changes when purchasing the tour.
