Day 1 Istanbul - Ganja - Imamzade Complex - Sheki

06:20 Departure to Ganja via Ajet Airlines flight number VF 313, which is known for its historical and natural beauty and frequently mentioned in Dede Korkut stories.
09:45 Arrival. After necessary procedures, we start our Ganja Tour with our private vehicle. During our tour, we will explore this beautiful city on foot in some places. The tour will include several notable sites such as the city’s oxygen reservoir Haydar Aliyev Park, the House of Bottles built by the architect in memory of his brother and all soldiers who could not return home after World War II using 5 thousand bottles, Atatürk Avenue which is the heart of the city, Philharmonic Hall which has hosted numerous important performances, Friday Mosque built in the 17th century with interesting architecture, the Alexander Nevsky Church built according to Byzantine architecture via the donations of Christian and Muslim populations, are some of the places to be seen. During our free time, you can have lunch at one of the venues offering delicious Azerbaijani dishes. Afterward, we head to Imamzade Complex. (approximately 7 km) Surrounded by red bricks, the interior of this beautifully crafted complex contains the tomb of Hz. Muhammed’s grandson Imam Muhammed al-Bakr, a mosque, and a caravanserai. Then we will take a scenic route covered with forests, lakes, and mountains towards Sheki. (approximately 145 km) Upon arrival, we will explore Sheki, which is one of Azerbaijan's oldest, most authentic, and beautiful cities. Sheki, a classic mountain town, is known for its gentle-natured people who possess a unique culture and cuisine. We will visit Upper and Lower Sheki Caravanserais, which are currently partially used as hotels, historic stone and wooden buildings spread across narrow, cobbled streets, the magnificent Palace of the Khan, which is a significant member of the UNESCO World Heritage List and a masterpiece from the Persian period, Sheki Craft Workshops, Ethnography Museum, Art Gallery, Art House which are part of the Sheki Fortress, as well as the Sheki Khan Palace constructed specifically for the Khan's relatives, and the most important religious structures of the city, Han and Friday Mosques, are just a few of the places you will see during our tour. During our free time in the bazaar, you can taste the famous Azerbaijani Tea served with Sheki Halva and purchase numerous handicraft artworks, especially the world's finest silk products. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and check into our rooms. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 2 Sheki - Gabala - Shamakhi - Baku
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we set off for Gabala known for its natural beauty (approximately 120 km) along with the breathtaking views of Nature National Park. In the free time at the shores of Nohur Lake, Gabala, which looks like a paradise on earth with its mountains, forests, and waterfalls, will rejuvenate your energy. Next, we head to Shamakhi (approximately 95 km). This city is historically known for being a critical phase during the Shamakhi Siege in the Ottoman-Safavid War and is also famous for winemaking and carpet weaving in the Caucasus. Here we will see the Old City Center, Yeddi Gumbez Tomb housing the Shirvan Khan Tombs located at the foot of Gülistan Fortress, and Friday Mosque. Next, we continue our journey to Baku, our final stop for the day (approximately 125 km). Upon arrival, we check into our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 3 Baku (Dinner with Azerbaijani Night)
After breakfast, we depart from our hotel for a Full Day Baku City Tour. Traditional and historical Baku's characteristics have recently been complemented by many investments to give it a modern architectural and cultural outlook. During this comprehensive tour, we will visit both New and Old Baku and see the most important areas. We first go to Martyrs' Lane and then to Highland Park. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the city of Baku and Baku Bay, and take plenty of photos. Next, we will visit the Old City or Inner City, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage. You will learn and see the historical and traditional features of Baku during this part of the tour. Among the landmarks here and nearby are the Maidan Tower built in the 12th century, the Friday Mosque dating back to the 15th century, the historically significant Siniggala Minaret and Mohammed Mosque, the world's only Miniature Book Museum, the Shirvan Shah Palace, regarded as one of the gems of Azerbaijani architecture, the Science Academy known as Ismail Palace today, the heart of the city Independence Avenue, Fountain Square which takes its name from the historical fountain in the area, Belediye Park famous for the Philharmonic Fountain, and the National Carpet and Carpet Museum will also be visited. Following this, we will proceed to Bakü Boulevard where we will explore modern Baku, including many futuristic architectural works, among which are the internationally renowned Flame Towers. At the end of our tour, we will go to the local venue for the Azeri Night with Dinner and Folklore Performance. In a historical location of the city, we will enjoy traditional Mugham music and local delicacies, followed by a transfer back to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 4 Baku - Ateshgah - Absheron - Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center - Istanbul
After breakfast, free time. After checking out of the rooms, we start our tour with a short journey to the Ateshgah (Fire Temple). This is one of the three Zoroastrian Temples that have survived to this day and the most important one. This fortress-like structure was originally built in the 3rd century AD, and its everlasting flames became well-known in antiquity, especially during the active period of the Silk Road, and was reconstructed by Zoroastrian pilgrims who came to the region in the 17th century. After our visit here, we will proceed to Apsheron Fire Mountain to watch the captivating dance of flames. Following this, our tour will continue with a visit to the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, designed by Iraqi-born British futurist architect Zaha Hadid, covering an area of 101,000 square meters which has attracted global attention. The complex consists of theaters and conference halls, a museum, and art galleries, representing the rising of the Caspian Sea in Azeri mythology. (IMPORTANT NOTE: On certain days, the cultural center may not accept visitors. Due to the timing not being announced in advance, our company cannot be held responsible for this situation.
