Day 2 Baku Ateshgah - Absheron - Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center
03:05 Arrival in Baku and transfer to the hotel. Check into rooms. After breakfast, we will start our tour later to allow you to rest from your travel fatigue. After breakfast, you will have free time. We begin the day with a visit to Ateshgah (Fire Temple), one of the three surviving Zoroastrian temples in the world, built first in the 3rd Century AD. This religious structure, with its fortress appearance, has been known worldwide since ancient times for its eternal flames, especially during the period when the Silk Road was active, and was rebuilt by Zoroastrian pilgrims who came to the region in the 17th Century. After our visit here, we will head to Absheron to watch the lively dance of the flames at Yanar Dağ (Burning Mountain). After this, our tour continues with a visit to the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, designed by the Iraq-born English futurist architect Zaha Hadid, which has garnered global attention with its massive area of 101,000 square meters. This complex represents the rise of the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijani mythology and includes theaters, conference halls, museums, and art galleries. (IMPORTANT NOTE: On some days, the cultural center does not accept visitors. As the exact timings are not announced in advance, our company cannot be held responsible for this situation. If it is open, we will enter; if not, we will view it from the outside.) After free time, we will transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 3 Baku (Dinner with Azeri Night)
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel for our Full Day Baku City Tour. Baku has gained a very modern appearance due to numerous recent investments alongside its traditional and historical aspects. During this comprehensive tour, we will first go to Yayla Park via Shuhitler yolu. Here, you will be able to see panoramic views of the city of Baku and Baku Bay, and take plenty of photos. Next, we will visit the Old City, also known as İçeri Şeher, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage list. In this part of the tour, you will learn and see the historical and traditional features of Baku. Here and in nearby areas, we will see sights such as the Maiden Tower, the Friday Mosque from the 15th Century, the historically significant Siniggala Minaret and Mohammed Mosque, the world's only Miniature Books Museum, the Shirvanshah Palace, considered one of the jewels of Azerbaijani historical architecture, the Ismail Palace, which currently serves as the Science Academy, the heart of the city, Istiklal Street, the Fountain Square named after the historical fountain, the Philharmonic Fountain in the well-known Municipal Park, and the National Carpet and Kilim Museum with its valuable handicrafts. Afterward, we will visit the modern face of the city, with numerous futuristic architectural works, including the world-famous Flame Towers, as we head to Baku Boulevard. This area features a pedestrian route parallel to the beach, known as 'Little Venice', built a century ago by oil barons. At the end of our tour, we head to a local venue for Dinner with Folkloric Show, where we will enjoy traditional Mugham music and local delicacies, followed by a transfer back to our hotel. Day 4 Baku - Shamakhi - Gabala - Sheki
After breakfast and checking out of our rooms, we set off towards Shamakhi (approximately 125 km). This city is known from the Shamakhi Siege, which was an important phase during the Ottoman-Safavid War. It is also famous for being one of the most important centers of winemaking and carpet weaving in the Caucasus. Here we will see the old town center, the Yeddi Gumbez Tomb, which houses the Shirvan Khan Tombs at the foot of the Gulistan Castle, and the Friday Mosque. Then, we continue our journey to Gabala, known for its natural beauty (approximately 95 km). With the breathtaking views of the National Park, we will have free time by Nohur Lake, where Gabala, resembling a paradise on earth with its mountains, forests, and waterfalls, will rejuvenate your energy. After our enjoyable break, we will continue our route to our final destination for the day, Sheki (approximately 90 km). Upon our arrival, we will tour Sheki, the oldest, most authentic, and beautiful city in Azerbaijan. Sheki, a classic mountain city, is known for its gentle people and unique culture and cuisine. We will visit the Upper and Lower Sheki Caravanserai, part of which is now a hotel, the historical stone and wooden buildings scattered along narrow cobblestone streets, the magnificent Han Palace, an important member of UNESCO World Heritage List from the Persian Era, Sheki Fortress consisting of the Artisan Workshop, Ethnography Museum, Art Gallery, Art House, and the main religious structures of the city, the Han and Friday Mosques, are just some of the places you will see on our tour. During our free time in the bazaar, you can taste the famous Azeri Tea accompanied by Sheki Halva, and shop for various handicraft artworks, including some of the world’s finest silk products. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and check into our rooms. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 5 Sheki - Imamzade Kulliye - Ganja - Istanbul
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we set off towards Ganja, dazzling visitors with its historical and natural beauties which frequently appear in Dede Korkut stories (approximately 145 km). Before arriving in Ganja, we will visit the Imamzade Kulliye. The spectacularly stunning complex, surrounded by red bricks, includes a mosque, caravanserai, and the tomb of Hz. Muhammad's grandson Imam Muhammad al-Bakr. Afterwards, we begin our tour in Ganja, where we will explore this beautiful city on foot in some places. During our visit, we will see Haydar Aliyev Park, an oxygen depot covering approximately 450 hectares, the Bottle House built from 5,000 bottles in memory of the architect's brother who could not return home during World War II, Ataturk Avenue, the Philharmonic Hall that has hosted numerous significant events since it was built, the interestingly designed Friday Mosque from the 17th century, and the Alexander Nevsky Church built by the donations of Christian and Muslim communities in accordance with Byzantine architecture. After free time for lunch, where you can eat at places serving delicious Azeri cuisine, we will transfer to the airport at the time specified by the guide. Upon arrival, after necessary procedures,
