SICILY TK (CTA-PMO) 5 NIGHTS

Day 1                                             ISTANBUL – CATANIA

Meeting with our esteemed guests at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter 3 hours before the flight at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After luggage and ticket processing, flight to Catania with the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Following our arrival, we will depart for a city tour of Catania with our private bus. The places to be seen in our tour include the Duomo Cathedral, Fontana dell’Elefante, Republic Square (Piazza Repubblica), and Etna Street. After the tour, free time. Guests wishing to join the optional Siracusa & Ortigia tour organized by our guide can do so (55 Euro). In our tour to Siracusa, the famous mathematician Archimedes' city, we will see the famous Aretusa Fountain, Siracusa Cathedral, Diana Fountain, Apollo Temple, and the Golden Castle. Transfer to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel 

Day 2                                              CATANIA

After breakfast, free time. Guests wishing to join the optional Etna & Taormina & Savoca tour organized by our guide can do so (90 Euro). Our tour will first visits the Etna Volcano, the only active volcano in Europe, followed by a visit to Taormina, one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Sicily. You will have a chance for free time for shopping after visiting the Roman-Greek style theater located at the foot of Mount Tauro. After our free time, we will head to Savoca. In this town, known for being the filming location of one of the best movie trilogies of all time, The Godfather, you can enjoy coffee at the café where Al Pacino had coffee and stroll through the streets where the film was shot. Transfer back to the hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.    

Day 3                                              CATANIA – PALERMO  

After breakfast, we are heading to Palermo. Following our arrival, we will have a city tour of Palermo. The places to be seen in our tour include the Palatine Chapel, San Giovanni Cathedral, Politeama Square, Norman Palace, Quattro Canti Square, Via Roma and Via Liberta streets. Transfer to the hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.   

Day 4                                              PALERMO

After breakfast, free time. Guests wishing to join the optional Erice & Monreale & Castellammare del Golfo tour organized by our guide can do so (85 Euro). After our tour in Erice, a typical medieval town with walls, courtyard stone houses, and streets, we will head to Monreale, where the most important church of Sicily is located. During our Monreale city tour, we will see the shopping street, Vittorio Emmanuel square, and Monreale church. Finally, our trip will take us to Castellammare del Golfo, which, despite being a small fishing village, has become one of the famous towns on the island. In our city tour here, after seeing the Aragonese castle and coastline, we will allow free time at the public beach. Transfer back to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 5                                       PALERMO

After breakfast, free time. Guests wishing to join the optional Cefalu tour organized by our guide can do so (45 Euro). In our tour, we will visit the charming fishing village of Cefalu, located on the shore of the Tyrrhenian Sea, where we will see the 12th-century historical cathedral, the fishermen's gate, and spend time in the town's unique streets before transferring back to the hotel and having free time. Overnight at our hotel.  

Day 6                                     PALERMO – ISTANBUL

After breakfast, transfer to Palermo Airport. Following our arrival, after luggage and ticket processing, we will depart for Istanbul with the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Arrival in Istanbul and end of our tour.
