After meeting with our guests at designated departure points in the tour program, we pass through Tekirdağ – Malkara – Keşan – İpsala on the way to the border, making necessary breaks. We arrive at Ipsala Land Border Gate. After completing our exit procedures here, we cross the Meriç River and reach the Greek border at Kastanies. After passport and customs procedures here, we enter Greece.
After entering Greece, we make a breakfast stop along the way. Following the break, we head towards Kavala. Upon arrival in Kavala, we start our panoramic city tour. As we approach the old town, the first sight is Saint Nicholas Church. The mosque built in 1530 by Suleiman the Magnificent for Pasha Ibrahim, which was converted into a church with a shortened minaret and added Christian mosaics in 1926, is the first we will see. Other historical sites include Kavala Castle, Kavalalı Mehmet Ali Pasha's house, the imaret (library), aqueduct, and old town inside the castle. After our panoramic tour of Kavala, we set off for Thessaloniki. Upon arrival, we visit the largest church in Thessaloniki, the Hagios Demetrios Church, and Atatürk’s house. Then, we conduct a panoramic city tour including the promenade, White Tower, Rotunda, Fairs, Alexander the Great statue, Yedi Kule (Seven Towers), the Roman-era Galerius Arch (Victory Arch), Rotonda, Bey Hamam, and Hamza Bey Mosque. After some free time, we move to our hotel. Upon arrival, we check-in. Guests who wish can join an extra "Greek Tavern Night tour" (Taverna Tour: 55 Euro). Guests who prefer not to join the tavern can reach the city center by bus (Transfer fee: 10 Euro). Accommodation is at our hotel in Thessaloniki.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Sofia. Along the route, guests interested can join the "Rila Monastery Tour" (25 Euro). Built in the 10th century, Rila Monastery is Bulgaria's largest monastery and is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. After the monastery visit, we proceed to Sofia. Upon arrival, we begin our city tour. sights include St. Nedelya Church, Rotunda Church, Russian Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Prime Ministry and Parliament buildings, Sofia University, the National Culture Palace, and the Mimar Sinan-designed Banya Bashi Mosque. After the tour, we head to our hotel. Guests who wish can join an additional "Bulgarian Night" dinner show (50 Euro). Guests who do not wish to join can reach the city center by bus (Transfer fee: 10 Euro). Accommodation will be at our hotel in Sofia.
After breakfast at the hotel, we leave for Plovdiv, Bulgaria's second-largest city. First, we give free time for shopping at Jumbo and Lidl. Then, we proceed to the center of Plovdiv for our city tour. Here, sites include Batenberg Street, Ottoman houses, the amphitheater, ancient stadium, Cuma Mosque, and Cuma Square. After the city tour and free time, we head towards Kapıkule Border Gate. After crossing, we complete passport and customs procedures, do some duty-free shopping, and then head back to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul, we give our guests who are on the return route drop-offs at designated points, and conclude the tour. Looking forward to seeing you on our next organization…
