Rome & Naples Tour - Turkish Airlines

Day 1    ISTANBUL – ROME

We meet at Istanbul Airport international departure terminal three hours before our flight. After baggage, ticket, and check-in procedures, we proceed to our flight to Rome with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Upon arrival, we transfer to our private bus awaiting us at the airport. Then, we depart for our tour of Albano Lake, Nemi Lake, and Castel Gandolfo. Nemi Village, known for its colorful houses adorned with flowers, cobblestone streets, famous strawberries sold and displayed in charming shops, and breathtaking lake views, offers a fairy-tale-like natural setting. Castel Gandolfo, located on the shores of Lake Albano and serving as the summer residence of the Pope, has also hosted many Roman emperors' summer homes throughout history. After our tour, we transfer to your hotel in Rome. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 2    ROME

After breakfast at the hotel, for guests who wish, we will depart for an optional Are the icons of Rome and Vatican City (St. Peter’s Basilica) tour (80 Euros). We will head to St. Peter’s Square at Vatican. After arrival, you have free time to visit the basilica and the square. Then, we depart for a city tour of Rome. During the city tour, we will see Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, Piazza Venezia where Mussolini addressed the public, the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, the Colosseum which hosted gladiatorial battles, the Trevi Fountain made famous by the film “La Dolce Vita,” the Spanish Steps with 135 steps, and the famous underwater boat fountain. Guests who wish can join an additional Bohemian Neighborhood Night Tour (30 Euros). On this tour, we will see some of the city’s most popular restaurants and street food spots, including Trastevere. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Rome and have free time to relax.

Day 3    ROME – NAPLES – ROME

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Naples, Italy’s third-largest city and the birthplace of Margherita pizza. In Naples, we will visit Garibaldi Square, Via Toledo, and the historic district called Centro Storico, the oldest neighborhood of the city. After the city tour, guests who wish can join an optional Pompeii & Outlet tour (90 Euros). Pompeii, one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, was destroyed by Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. The city was buried under volcanic ash and has been remarkably excavated since 1748, revealing its historical remains. After the tour, we transfer back to your hotel in Rome and have free time to rest.

Day 4    ROME – ISTANBUL

After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and free time for shopping and exploring, depending on your flight schedule. We then transfer to the airport as per guidance. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we fly back to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Upon arriving at Istanbul Airport, our tour and services conclude.
