1. Day ISTANBUL – ROME
We meet at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, in the international departure terminal, three hours before our flight. After luggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we take our scheduled flight with Pegasus Airlines to Rome. Upon arrival, we transfer to our private bus waiting for us at the airport. Then we depart for our tour of Lake Albano, Lake Nemi, and Castel Gandolfo. Nemi Village, known for its colorful houses decorated with flowers on its windows, cobblestone streets, famous for its natural strawberries displayed and sold in charming shops, and finally with its breathtaking lake views, feels like you are in a fairy tale. Castel Gandolfo, located on the shores of Lake Albano, hosts the Pope’s summer residence and has historically been a summer retreat for many Roman emperors. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Rome. Accommodation at our hotel.
2. Day ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join an optional tour called Rome Icons and Vatican (St. Peter's), costing 80 Euros. We proceed to St. Peter's Square at the Vatican. Upon arrival, free time for visiting the Basilica and Square. Afterwards, we depart for a city tour of Rome. During the tour, we will see notable sites such as Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned; Piazza Venezia and the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument built by Mussolini; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator battles; the Trevi Fountain from the famous film "La Dolce Vita"; the Spanish Steps with its 135 steps and the sinking boat fountain. Those interested can join an optional tour called Bohemian Neighborhood Night Tour, costing 30 Euros. Our tour includes the most popular restaurants and street food venues of Trastevere, known as the city’s lively district. After the tour, we transfer back to your hotel in Rome for rest. 3. Day ROME – NAPLES – ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Naples, Italy’s third-largest city, known as the birthplace of Margherita pizza. In Naples, we will visit Garibaldi Square, Via Toledo, and the historic center (Centro Storico), the oldest part of the city. After the city tour, guests who wish can join an optional tour called Pompeii & Outlet, costing 90 Euros. Pompeii is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world. It was buried under the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and was rediscovered in 1748, revealing a city frozen in time. After the tour, we transfer back to your hotel in Rome and then enjoy free time to relax. Accommodation at our hotel.
4. Day ROME – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out of the rooms, and at the time specified by our guide, transfer to the airport. After luggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we take our scheduled flight with Pegasus Airlines to Istanbul. Upon arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, our tour and services end.
