Day 1                  ISTANBUL – PORTO

Meeting with our valued guests in front of the international departure terminal at Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we fly to Porto with Turkish Airlines. Following our arrival, we will have a panoramic city tour of Porto with our private buses waiting at the airport. The sights to see include the historical buildings of the Rieira district overlooking the Douro River, Bolsa Palace, the Cathedral (Porto Cathedral), House of the Prince, Sao Francisco Church, Sao Bento train station, Ponte d Lous I Bridge, and we will complete our panoramic city tour along the Douro River. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and have free time. Guests who wish can join the Porto Boat tour (40 Euro) organized by our guide for an additional fee. This is a great opportunity to see this magnificent city from the river and conclude our tour after heading all the way to the ocean. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel and overnight there. 

 

Day 2                  PORTO

After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish can join the Braga & Guimares tour (80 Euro) that we will conduct as an extra. The first stop is Braga, one of the important cities of Portugal. In Braga, we see one of the significant holy sites, the 'Church of the Blessed Savior of the Mountains' (Bom Jesus Do Monte). This magnificent building is one of the finest examples of granite architecture in Northern Portugal, and devout people ascend the steps on their knees during holy days to reach this sacred place. After Braga, we move on to Guimares, the ancient capital of Portugal. Guimares, under UNESCO protection, is a charming city with its typical houses and squares. After visiting Guimares, we proceed to Porto via the beautiful coastal road. Upon arrival, we transfer back to our hotel and have free time. Guests who wish can join the extra organized Porto by Night and Light Show Tour (70 Euro). This tour provides an opportunity to see the iconic points of Porto illuminated at night, and the highlight will be the music and light show inside Clerigos Church during the evening hours. We recommend that you don’t miss this rare show held worldwide. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 3                  PORTO – LISBON

After breakfast, we head towards Lisbon. On the route, an extra Fatima & Nazare & Obidos tour (60 Euro) will be organized. Our first stop is Fatima, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three little shepherds in 1917 and revealed three secrets; this is considered one of the largest pilgrimage and worship centers in Christianity. After Fatima, we turn toward the coast to the fishing town of Nazare, famous for its beach. It's impossible not to be influenced by the cliffs of Nazare, where the famous explorer Vasco de Gama arrived to pray before his long sea journeys. Afterwards, we visit the medieval town of Obidos, which still has its 12th-century walls standing. We explore its historical texture and then proceed to Lisbon. Upon arrival, we’ll have a panoramic city tour of Lisbon, which includes places like Eduardo VII Park, Rossio Avenue, the famous Liberdade Square, the Tagus River, São Jorge Castle, the Alfama district, the Alcantara district, Belem Tower, the Discoveries Monument in Belem, and Jeronimos Monastery. After the tour, transfer to your hotel and overnight there.

 

Day 4                  LISBON

After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish can join the extra Sintra & Cascais & Estoril & Cabo de Roca tour (85 Euro). After seeing the panoramic view of the Sintra Royal Palace, the most important summer palace of the Portuguese monarchy, we will visit the former fishing neighborhoods and beach houses of Cascais and Estoril coast. Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent, is our final stop. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Guests who wish can spend their evenings by joining the extra Fado Night excursion (70 Euro without dinner, 95 Euro with dinner). Overnight stay at our hotel.

 

Day 5                  LISBON – ISTANBUL

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport. After ticketing and customs procedures, we will board the Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul. Our tour concludes after arriving in Istanbul.

  1. For overseas trips, it is mandatory to have a passport valid for at least 6 months. Passports older than 10 years are not valid for overseas travel and must be renewed before the tour departure date. Entry is not allowed with torn and worn passports.
  2. For visa applications, it is required to submit the necessary documents listed in the visa documents list, which can be obtained from our agencies, in complete form to the agency with written approval at least 1 month prior to the tour departure date.
  3. In case of fairs, congresses, events, etc. in cities, accommodation may be made outside the promised distance and area. In such a case, the hotel area will be informed in writing to our agencies at least 30 days before the tour departure.
  4. The visa must be obtained from the first country you enter on the tour or from the country you stay in the most; otherwise, the passport police may not allow entry. THE AGENCY is not responsible in any way for this.
  5. In case of tour cancellations, the visa fee and insurance fees are non-refundable.
  6. THE AGENCY acts only as an intermediary between the customers and the consulate, and has no liability for the non-approval, delay, or errors in the visa.
  7. THE AGENCY acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol.
  8. During the registration, the name, date of birth, and passport number must be entered into the system. The flight tickets will be issued based on this information. The fees for ticket cancelations or changes caused by incorrect data will be charged to the guests.
  9. 48 hours prior to the flight, all guests must call the central office to get a written confirmation as flight times may change.
  10. The city where the plane will land may vary. THE AGENCY cannot be held responsible for changes in the flight times and delays made by the airline companies.
  11. Guests who do not confirm their flight times and routes will not hold THE AGENCY responsible for any changes in domestic flight connections.
  12. For group tickets, the airline rules apply, and if the departure flight cannot be used, the return flight cannot be used either, according to the group ticket rules.
  13. The general baggage weight for flights departing from Turkey is 20Kg. This weight may vary according to the airline and the destination country. In domestic flights within the visited countries, this weight may be reduced to 15Kg. Excess baggage weight/ pricing rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of THE AGENCY.
  14. In case of insufficient attendee numbers for the package tour, the tour cancellation will be notified to the consumer at least 21 days in advance.
  15. The route specified in the tour program is an example route, and there may be changes in the tour itinerary.
  16. City introduction tours may be conducted the following day(s) based on the arrival time in the city.
  17. The tours indicated in the programs can be held on different days than specified at the discretion of the guide for any reason.
  18. Extra tours along the route will take place if at least 6 people from the group participate. Guests who do not wish to participate will remain in the rest area.
  19. During busy periods such as fairs, congresses, seminars, hotel accommodations may be arranged outside the city.
  20. Tours or excursions that are not permitted for any reason by local authorities will not be conducted. Alternative tours can only be realized if there is a minimum participation of 20 people; otherwise, they will be conducted at the discretion of the guide and prices may be altered if necessary. THE AGENCY cannot be held responsible for not conducting these tours.
  21. Museum and archaeological site entrance fees are not included in the prices.
  22. THE AGENCY reserves the right to change hotel names, provided that the star category remains the same.
