DAY 1 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – GENOA
Meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 04:10 am, then depart to Nice at 07:10 am with Turkish Airlines flight TK1813. Arrive in Nice at 09:10 local time, then transfer to our ship in Genoa port. After check-in procedures and settling into cabins, enjoy free time. The ship departs from port at 16:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
 
DAY 2 NAPLES
Our ship will dock at Naples port at 13:00 in the morning. Guests who wish may join the optional “Sorrento & Capri Tour (Full Day)” guided by our guide. Sorrento, the land of colors, the birthplace of poet Torquato Tasso, the homeland of mermaids, known for lemon and orange trees. In the 1920s, it hosted the famous Soviet writer Maxim Gorky as well. Sorrento is a charming southern city where goodness and hospitality are passed down from generation to generation. After our Sorrento tour, we head to Capri. Upon fast ferry journey, we arrive at Capri Island. In Capri, we will see the port town Capri, and “Augustus Gardens,” and explore shopping streets. Those interested can take a cable car to the island's highest point for a spectacular view. After the tour, we return to our ship, which will depart at 20:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
 
DAY 3 MESSINA (TAORMINA)
Our ship docks at Messina at 09:00. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests can join the optional “Taormina Tour” guided by our guide. This tour passes through scenic hills to visit the world-famous Taormina village. In Taormina, we will see the Cathedral, Corvaja Palace, and the external Roman Theater, and walk along Umberto Street. There will be free time for shopping, then return to the ship, which departs at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
 
DAY 4 VALLETTA
Our ship arrives at Valletta port at 08:00. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests may join the optional “Mosta & Valletta & Mdina & Marsaxlokk Tour” guided by our guide. The first stop is Mosta, where we visit the Santa Maria Assunta Basilica with its third-largest dome in Europe. The dome has a diameter of 56.2 meters, and inside, frescoes by Giuseppe Cali can be seen. We learn about the bomb that fell during WWII, which pierced the dome but did not explode. Next, we visit Mdina, the old capital of Malta, known as the “Silent City,” with its narrow streets, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Falson Palace, Baroque Monastery, Vilhena Palace, and historic houses. We then proceed to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk with its colorful boats and local markets. Guests can have lunch at local restaurants with fresh seafood. Afterward, we go to Valletta for a city tour. Valletta was designated the 2018 European Capital of Culture. We explore the fortress city, including Barrakka Gardens, offering excellent views of the Grand Harbour. The tour ends with a walk through the lively streets, then return to the ship, which departs at 17:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
 
DAY 5 SEA DAY
This day will be spent at sea, offering passengers many options. Guests can enjoy the outdoor and indoor pools, jacuzzis, sunbathing areas, or indulge in shopping at duty-free stores. You can try your luck at the casino or enjoy live music and entertainment at various bars. A wide selection of meals will be available throughout the day. Dinner and overnight on board.
 
DAY 6 BARCELONA
Our ship arrives at Barcelona port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, guests can join the optional “Barcelona City Tour” guided by our guide. This city tour begins with our special bus in one of Europe's most beautiful metropolises. We will see La Rambla Street, Columbus Monument, Maremagnum Marina, Barceloneta Beach, Olympic area and port, Catalunya Square, and Paseo de Gracia, where Gaudi’s famous houses form an open-air museum. We also visit Montjuic Hill for panoramic views. After free time for shopping, we return to the ship, which departs at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
 
DAY 7 MARSEILLE
Our ship arrives at Marseille port at 07:00. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests can join the optional “Marseille & Aix-en-Provence Tour” guided tour. We will first go to Aix-en-Provence, located about 40 minutes away, to see the Romanesque St. Saviour's Cathedral with a vaulted roof from the 12th century. We will take a pleasant walk through the old city, seeing historic inns and the Mazarino district built by Cardinal Mazarino’s brother in the 17th century. After a brief stop, we head to Marseille, an important maritime city. We will visit the Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica, Perched over the city, the statue of the Virgin Mary offers panoramic views. We also see the old port, Longchamps Square, Saint Charles Train Station, Old Town, City Hall, and waterfront. Free time in the city center follows, then return to the ship, which departs at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
 
DAY 8 GENOA – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship arrives at Genoa port at 08:00. After breakfast, disembarkation procedures are completed, and our transfer vehicle takes us to Nice Airport. After check-in, we depart on Turkish Airlines flight TK1896 at 14:55. Arrive at Istanbul Airport at 18:55 local time. End of our tour.
