Two enchanting villages at the fork at the end of Storfjord. Once postal ports in the north, and today among Norway’s favorite cruise ports due to the difficulty of land access, with an annual average of 180 ship calls. We begin our tour by greeting Hellesylt Waterfall... First, the area was the postal route to the north, but today it is a tourism center. We first go to the scenic viewpoint where we will see Hellesylt Fjord and photograph the fjord from there, then continue on our way. Our first stop is the “hamile taşı” and the stone bridge dating back to the 1800s. Then we go to Hornindal Lake, the deepest lake in Europe, and take a break there. After getting back on the road, our next stop will be Stryn, one of the liveliest towns in the region. In Stryn, which the royal family especially visits for fishing, you will see the stone bridge and then be given free time for shopping and coffee/lunch. After a stop at the foot of Lake Djupvatnet, you will be amazed by the view from the terrace of Dalsnibba Mountain at 1,476 meters if the weather is clear. Then we will stop at the Flydal viewpoint and photograph Geiranger Fjord. After our tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board. Our ship will leave the port at 21:00. **DAY 4 ALESUND** Our ship will dock at Alesund port at 07:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Alesund, built on the top of Norway’s western fjord region, is a picture-perfect town spread over several islands with the Sunnmøre Mountains in the background and stretching toward the Atlantic. Although most of the town was burned in a fire in the early 20th century, Alesund was rebuilt in full Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) elegance. Those who wish may join the optional “Trollstigen and Alesund Panoramic Tour” organized by our guide at an extra cost. From the meeting point, the bus will take you from the beautiful area outside Ålesund toward the land of trolls. This part of Møre og Romsdal is especially known for its furniture industry. From Sjøholt, the road along Storfjord takes you through Stordal and its Rose Church (built in 1789) to Valldal, famous for its delicious strawberries. The next stop will be Gudbrandsjuvet, a breathtakingly beautiful gorge 5 meters wide and 20–25 meters deep. You can walk across a bridge from one side of the pass to the other. From here, the bus will travel through Reinheimen National Park to the Trollstigen plateau. Enjoy the magnificent views of King, Queen and Bishop mountains and the waterfall Stigfossen from Trollstigen. As the bus descends the Troll Road, the driver will safely navigate 11 sharp bends. At the lower part of the Troll Road, there will be an additional photo stop where you can take the best pictures of Stigfossen. Next is a visit to Trollveggen, the highest vertical rock face in Europe. After this stop, it is time to return to Ålesund. Then we will return to Ålesund and take a panoramic city tour.
