Gather at Istanbul Airport's international departures terminal in front of the Turkish Airlines counter 3 hours before departure. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1449 at 06:45 to Porto. After arriving locally at 09:45, our Porto city tour begins with our waiting vehicle at the airport. Porto, the second-largest city in the country, is famous for its distinctive architecture, colorful houses, and narrow streets. During the city tour, our first stop is Boavista, known as a modern commercial and business center. Then, we will visit Queijo Castle on the Atlantic coast. From there, we will pass through the Foz neighborhood, an old fishing village by the river where it meets the ocean, and proceed towards the city center along the riverbanks. Our first visit will be to Jeronimos Monastery’s church area, then we will stop for photos at Belém Tower and Discovery Monument on the Tagus River. We will take a short walk through Alfama, the oldest district of the city, which can only be explored on foot and has survived the 1755 earthquake with minimal damage. On the way, we will see Praça do Comércio, Baixa district, Rossio Square, and Restauradores Square. Then, we will walk through the old Santa Cruz neighborhood, an area full of narrow streets, old houses, and lively taverns. Lastly, we will see the Torre del Oro, an old watchtower and military fortification on the river. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.
